PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The background of Robert Sogge is unique in that they include training, teaching, research and practical consulting in the specific area of soil-structure interaction. Specifically he has made significant contributions in the areas of anchored sheet piles, laterally loaded piles, reinforced mat foundations systems, and buried arch culverts. His thin-arch designs have been verified by full-scale HITEC tests on a 28 ft span structure. With partners he founded a design-build company to construct such structures.
As to the 'conspiracy' theory, I don't get into it ' instead, I look at the failure of just Bldg #7 that came down at 5:23 pm after only being hit by a small 40 ft by 40 ft section of steel beam. The building constructed of steel came tumbling down. I, as a designing Civil Engineer, would not want to design with such a material if that were the case. So it is said to have failed by 'progressive failure'. Where is the research, conferences and study on this topic. Where is AISC in defending their product as they always used to do in comparisons to concrete structures? Where are our professional groups like ASCE on this topic? I notice that ASCE sponsored a 'paper' on the Pentagon Bldg failure ' but the study was a joke in that concrete walls were replaced by columns in the analysis. When the Teton Dam failed in the late 70's, the cause of the failure was investigated. The failure generated much research and subsequent conferences on Hydraulic Fracturing ' the culprit. Thank you for finally creating a voice for those of us who would like to correct the facts for the public and preserve the profession we work in and love.

I worked on The Twin Towers as a welder for Otis Elevator in 1970-71. The elevators ran inside the core columns and if someone wanted to plant explosives on those columns, all they had to do was ride on top of the elevator car and do their dirty work from there. As a welder I applied plenty of heat to those columns and I know that kerosene would not cause any damage at all. There was too much mass in the steel.
I worked for Otis Elevator for 3.5 years including a year from 1970-1971 working and welding on 'The Twin Towers'. So when I think of the core columns in those buildings and how massive those columns were, I have great difficulty buying the story of how jet fuel could weaken that steel to the point of collapse. Anyway, that fuel burned on impact and wasn't a factor. The general public doesn't realize that in those buildings that the core columns were 'terraced' and in a natural collapse, there would have been more resistance on the way down. The symmetrical collapse at free fall speed was impossible under normal conditions.

While at that point in time, I was not very convinced by some points shown in them, the one that caught my attention instantly was the towers falling. The more I watched it, the more I was convinced there was something very seriously wrong here. In the recent past, I have revisited 911, and had a look at it in a more objective manner. Here is what stands on top of my list today: 1. Eyewitness reports and video evidence have been completely ignored and kept aside. I would think, this is the first step when it comes to solving any crime. One need not look further to be convinced that something is seriously wrong with the 911 investigation and media reports!!! 2. Three buildings that are designed to withstand enormous loads, 2 of which are 110 stories tall, and had an acre sized floors, and both falling at free fall speed like there is absolutely no resistance below. Seriously? Did the building resistance decide to take an abrupt vacation and crumple down to earth? 3. The energy simply doesn't even begin to add up for the buildings to get demolished! I don't even need to get a calculator. A building with an acre floor span, 110 stories tall, is designed to take loads multiple times its actual load. The energy required to demolish such a building and so quickly, is off the charts. Anyone who has a basic understanding of real world science will tell you that the massive energy hole between what was needed and what was available means that the extra energy had to come from another source. 4. WORST CASE scenario, if something seriously had gone wrong in the buildings, I would absolutely expect the buildings to tilt and fall over. Again, this is a worst case scenario!! Falling straight down through themselves and their enormous resistance, and this at free fall speed, is not even a possibility here. No way. Not happening. 5. The buildings crushed/demolished themselves in such a way that would make it seem that buildings are brittle by nature. 6. If 911 happened the way it was told, it should be called The Amazing Coincidences Day! There were that many amazing co-incidences and all in the same day. Even if one of these amazing coincidences happened on one day alone, would be quite amazing, and we saw a spate of these happen all on the same day. Jaw dropping!!! Enormous capital is controlling most of our planet, and it has strategically made media very expensive. This has in turn coupled media tightly with enormous capital; hence, media is now the voice of capital interests. This is why media is no longer free and unbiased, and exactly why mainstream media does not cover 911.

Never stuck with anything long enough to become professional. I was like Willie Nelson singing, ''On the Road Again.'' (Your quotes don't work). Attended The Manhattan School of Music approx 1972. I can read, write, play classical music for piano. In 1972 I did. Attended The U of Cincinnati (General Studies) in 1976 for one semester but when they found out I came from NYC, they raised my tuition so high I had to quit. I found an ad on the U of C bulletin board looking for someone to renovate an apt built in 1904: I became a drywall taper and finisher walking on stilts there until 1979. Moved to Denver in 1980 where I did telemarketing and sales: K-Designers Co Larry Judson still in business), Inacom International (oil drilling tools). In 1989 I joined the NRA (Life Member). Though I may not have finished high school, I'm not for lack of intelligence. When my friends were all in college, I was the one writing their papers to get them passing grades; I'm quite the smart individual. Which is why I can't sit idly by and just let our government get away with something so horrendous. Studies show that more than half of US citizens are beginning to think something is fishy about what happened that day. The rest are too scared to fathom something other than what they've been programmed with. I've dealt with people trying to tell me what to think, feel, do, say and believe my entire life; it's never worked too well for them. I can only pray that by us, as US citizens, banding together we can help bring about a new investigation to get to the legitimate truth about what transpired that fateful day.
Anyone who has ever seen a controlled demolition can very easily see that there was something odd about how cleanly and easily those buildings went down inside themselves. No other buildings built in that fashion have ever fallen before, ever, in history. And yet, three, all in one day, one of which was not even been struck by a plane. The horrible stories they came up with in an attempt to cover their tracks are a joke, and instead of attempting to disprove any theories brought to the table, they label anyone with a question a 'conspiracy theorist' so that the general public has the impression that this person is some kind of whack-job. It's a shame that big corporations and the almighty dollar have turned this country in to such a disgrace.

Demolition!!! I was a skeptic for 10 long years and would not listen to anyone who tried to tell me that 9/11 was in inside job. I hold a bachelor of science degree in human resource management and am currently a MBA student. I have experience as a soldier and emergency medical technician. I am currently an administrator in the higher education field.
I believe the government possesses a conflict of interest in these matters and that an independent investigation is necessary. I believe the investigation by NIST is lacking and warrants further review to determine the truth.

With the help of my friend, who is an architect, I came to know about this petition. I have done bachelors in Business Administration.
I will agree that in the beginning when I was shown by the media (CNN/BBC), I believed them. But then I found myself in the middle of a discussion and then did my own research. Bunch of uneducated/illiterate Arabs can not execute such a well planned terror attack with up-to-date weapons and enter the USA just like that.
