PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I began having doubts about the official explanations for the collapse of the WTC towers soon after the explanations surfaced. The gnawing question that lingers in my mind is: how did the structures collapse in near-symmetrical fashion when the apparent precipitating causes were asymmetrical loading? The collapses defy common logic from an elementary structural engineering perspective. If you accept the argument that the fire protection covering was damaged to such an extent that structural members in the vicinity of the aircraft impacts were exposed to abnormally high temperatures, and if you accept the argument that the temperatures were high enough to weaken the structural framing, that still does not explain the relatively concentric nature of the failures.Neither of the official precipitating sources for the collapses, namely the burning aircraft, were centered within the floor plan of either tower; both aircraft were off-center when they finally came to rest within the respective buildings. This means that, given the foregoing assumptions, heating and weakening of the structural framing would have been constrained to the immediate vicinity of the burning aircraft. Heat transmission (diffusion) through the steel members would have been irregular owing to differing sizes of the individual members; the temperature in the members would have dropped off precipitously the further away the steel was from the flames'''just as the handle on a frying pan doesn''t get hot at the same rate as the pan on the burner of the stove. These factors would have resulted in the structural framing furthest from the flames remaining intact and possessing its full structural integrity, i.e., strength and stiffness.Structural steel is highly ductile; when subjected to compression and bending it buckles and bends long before reaching its tensile or shear capacity. Under the given assumptions, if the structure in the vicinity of either burning aircraft started to weaken, the superstructure above would begin to lean in the direction of the burning side. The opposite, intact, side of the building would resist toppling until the ultimate capacity of the structure was reached, at which point, a weak-link failure would undoubtedly occur. Nevertheless, the ultimate failure mode would have been a toppling of the upper floors to one side, much like the topping of a tall redwood tree, not a concentric, vertical collapse.For this reason alone, I rejected the official explanation for the collapse of the WTC towers out of hand. Subsequent evidence supporting controlled, explosive demolition of the two buildings is more in keeping with the observed collapse modalities and only serves to validate my initial misgivings as to the causes for the structural failures.

I could not believe that this event would have caused this building to be the first to fall when the core of the structure was not hit. Watching the towers fall reminded me of a typical pulled building that you would see during a standard demolition. Watching the top of the tower move after it was going to tip over back into fall position required another force much stronger to upright the tower to provide it to fall through the center. This is typical of demolition charges bringing the center back into alignment.

I was initially stunned and just dumbfounded after seeing them come down in 2001 but had an uneasy feeling about the explanations given for this terrible event. I am an architect who retired in 2010 from the State of California Department of Transportation, Division of Engineering Services, after having worked a combined 29 years in Transportation Architecture and Project Management. Buildings I designed include numerous maintenance stations, an equipment shop, roadside rest areas, a tunnel ventilation building, and light rail transit stations. Many of these buildings were steel frame, all were in California. Before coming to Caltrans, I worked for Liske, Lionakis, Beaumont, & Engberg Architects and Engineers, where I designed the Pacific Telephone Administrative Complex in Rohnert Park, CA, which is also a steel frame building.

I witnessed the collapses of the towers and of WTC 7 on live TV. I am certain these were due to demolition explosives that had to be placed BEFORE the alleged surprise attack, thus proving a conspiracy. WTC 7 was an obviously standard demolition by explosives. In the towers, the collapses began at the TOP, not at the points of plane impact, showing the explosives were detonated in sequence from top down to simulate a pancake collapse. The presence of molten iron under the debris of all 3 collapsed buildings proves the use of thermate, as the fires could not possibly have been hot enough to melt steel. The small human body fragments found on the roofs of nearby buildings could only have been caused by the detonations of high explosives.

I quit the AIA over its lack of interest in this issue. Without insisting on a thorough explanation of what transpired on 9/11, the AIA simply cannot claim to represent the architectural profession. - - - - I didn't see video footage of the collapses until 2005. At that point I spent months searching the web for more information. At the end of the day, the deliberate demolition is obvious. The reasons for doing so are incomprehensible - which is why many people refuse to acknowledge reality. The reality however, is that multiple crimes were committed, and crimes need to be investigated and the criminals brought to justice. They never were in Iraq.

I didn’t know WTC Building 7 came down until 2021. I had no idea. Seeing the way Building 7 came down is a baffling sight to see. How did it fall straight down perfectly the way it did? The building could’ve been dropped out of the sky the way it went straight down. The building didn’t get hit by a plane. Seeing the way Building 7 fell we can then go back and see the way the towers fell - which was virtually the same way. All 3 going from standing to straight free fall in a moments notice.. what are the odds???? I’d say zero! I take into account the way the buildings fell, and then listen to all the NYFD Firefighters describing the explosions / bombs boom boom boom boom boom boom boom as well as the thousands of citizens who described the explosions, and then seeing the 9/11 commission report, I believe the story we’ve been told is the real conspiracy theory.
