To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Why are the laws suspended on 9/11 when the WTC towers fell according to the official report signed off by the Department Head of Materials Science at Harvard? If you believe this report, then why are we still allowing people to live and work in skyscrapers constructed with steel and codes prior to 9/11 when the law of physics apparently changed to please the Empire? I would think more engineers would protest this official story as it affects the credibility of their degrees and professional code of ethics.

I have not ever seen such a false reporting of how a jet fuel fire from a plane crash into the steel WTC buildings (designed to withstand such an unlikely plane crash) would create such a calamitous structural failure / collapse. Any professional that understands how a building of such height and built in safety features is designed to stand, knows this was a demolition.

"On 9/11/01 I was living at my Park Avenue condo apartment in midtown Manhattan. As an independent early responder, I was at ground zero from day 2 through day 7, for a total of 66 hours on site. Unlike most others affiliated with agencies, I freely covered all parts of the scene. I circumnavigated the entire site 4 times, searched, photographed, warned many of the asbestos 'snowfall', informed non-professionals of the tower's structural system, met with some agency chiefs, and interfaced with 10 of the F.E.M.A teams that arrived. Soon after sunrise on 13 Sept 01, I viewed the remains of building 7 from the top of the exterior stairs on the north side of the plaza. Though at the time I could rationalize how the twin towers came down from pancaking, I was baffled how bldg 7 could fold in on itself so perfectly without damaging adjacent structures and leaving asymmetrical ruins. When I gave a live 13-minute phone interview with Fox News in NYC the day Bush visited the site, and methodically described the structural status of all the buildings affected, I may have been one of the very first people to publicly state that building 7 ended up looking as if a ""controlled demolition"" took place."

After viewing the documentation about the evidence surrounding World Trade Center 7, and comparing it to structural characteristics of building materials under fire conditions, the explanations given by NIST don't quite match up. While some structural failure of the building after prolonged exposure to fire conditions fueled by office materials is possible, large structural steel beams would yield slowly over time and the building collapsing all at once is all but impossible, unless it was engineered to do so.

I first became concerned about the official explaination of the WTC and Solomon buildings' collapses when I was told about the burni9ng temperature of jet fuel vs. the temperature needed to melt iron. After mildly researching the subject for about a year, I discovered the facts about the Solomon building, how it had not been hit by an airplane, its seemingly freefall collapse, and the similarity to a controlled demolition. I also became aware at this time about the fact of the BBC announcing the building 7 collapse before it actually happened. I have many questions about why the WTC buildings collapsed from burning jet fuel and why building 7 collapsed at all. I do not feel that the official investigation's explanations adequately or substantially elucidate the events of 9/11/01.

When you review basic laws of physics any person capable of critical thinking will see that simple structural failure is not possible in the collapse of WTC 1, 2, and 7. I am a Student at Selwyn college having attended over a years Hard materials including Structure and architectural building design as well as Graphical Studies including Architectural design. I have also viewed three different Documentary's specifically about or including an investigation into The twin Towers each of them presenting factual information that I can credit with my experience to be plausible.
There is sufficient evidence including photographs of metal beams which ran straight up the two towers in aid of support. These beams in the case of demolition would be cut at and angle to create the sort of pancake falling effect (seen in the twin towers) when being demolished. this photographic evidence includes many shots of the twin towers Rubble in which you can clearly see metal beams which ran up the twin towers in aid of support cut at angles, thus presenting what I believe to be a sound theory that the twin towers collapse was an inside job of some sort.

Based on Physics, It was impossible for both 9/11 towers to collapse at the rate they did purely from air planes crashing into them. Also, air plane or jet engine fuel could not possibly burn through the tower's steel beams in order to make to the buildings collapse. I had drunk the Official-Popular-Mechanics-Government-Endorsed version of 9/11 events for years until my eyes were opened to what really happened on that terrible day by my brother. Soon after I returned to school, after a long hiatus, as a Civil Engineering student at a local community college and this fall I will be transferring to the Fulton School of Engineering at ASU. By this point I had read and discovered a lot about the truth of 9/11 and a basic 100 level Physics class affirmed what I had been reading and seeing. As an Engineering student I feel an obligation to speak out to people about 9/11 and the NWO whenever I get a chance.
When debating the truth of 9/11 with fellow students and others, and the typical response to what I have stated comes up I always question their question with a question of my own, which is, How did a building that wasn't hit by an airplane, or by tower 1 or 2 (because of their virtually perfect vertical collapse into their own footprint) fall down (again, perfectly into its own footprint) after only burning for a short time when no other steel building, in the history of steel buildings, has ever collapsed from much more intense infernos? I then continue by stating, If you can explain how building 7 collapsed then you may be able to convince me that I am wrong and that I don't understand the physics of what happened after Larry A. Silverstein said, 'Pull the building'. I always leave people with the following counsel, You don't know me from Adam so, DO NOT believe a single word I have said to you today, but DO try to prove me wrong, because as one starts to seek the truth one will find it; and almost without exception with everyone I have spoken the common denominator amongst the ones who believe the 'official' story (including myself at one time) is they have not done any independent research and have just swallowed the 'official' storyline. I'm a Vet and I have spent a few years in construction, right now I take care of my parents I still go to school and I've covered many disciplines.
I'm a vet and a construction worker I know when I see explosives I also know how well that building was structured as a vet I know cover-up is standard, and I've had enough physics to know when an aluminum plane hits a building like a bullet it breaks up. And I had enough law to know when Bush has a slip of the tong and says they used explosives and they didn't care about Osama but the wanted Hussein.

Student of Interior Design with a lot of common sense. I like to watch TV shows that are about buildings being professionally demolished. I have watched several of these shows in my lifetime, and I can tell when a building falls in a controlled blast and it implodes. If the planes had brought down the buildings, they would have fallen over at the top with the bottom part standing, and not imploded at all. We are not stupid Washington.
Anyone can tell the 9/11 buildings were brought down by a planned demolition, and not by any planes at all. It is just way too obvious. You can clearly see the blasts going off way down the building before the collapse. The timing of the collapses also shows it was done by controlled blasts. I am tired of the lies being told by our government, and would like to let them know that we are not fools, and we are not fooled by their lies and deceit.

If the government story on 911 is true, then looking into it independently should not be a problem. Also, its hard to believe the towers could have made enough heat to bend the steel beams, on the floors that where not close to the impact area.

After reviewing evidence contrary to the official 911 story, it became apparent these building hadn't collapsed by so-called pancake theory discussed by the main stream media. For example; the speed at which the buildings fell into their own footprint, atomized concrete, immense heat at the core of the collapsed building, the mysterious collapse of WTC building #7 eetc. As justice for the American people, especially those who have lost their lives/loved ones, this event must be officially and independently investigated!

9/11 has never sat well with me. I have always felt that something was amiss, or that the whole truth of the event was overlooked in the ensuing panic and patriotism. But it is the numerous witness accounts and how they differ from the official NIST report that always bothered me. And now, as I read through the thoughts of the professionals on this website, my doubts rise even further. I believe that we need to re-investigate this tragedy with fresh eyes.

It's concerning as their is little to discredit the professional integrity or expertise of this group that is asking for a comprehensive review of the evidence. I believe in my government but I also understand the pervasive role of secrecy, especially at the executive level, and so, most likely, there are questions regarding 9/11 that have been left unanswered. This is America for goodness sake- not Zaire- lets live up to the ideals that this country was founded upon.
