On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I've been suspicious about the WTC destruction since day one, when it was obvious that the buildings collapsed within the free fall time span. I did a few calculations to prove to my own satisfaction that the building collapse could not have been caused by the airplane impact and the burning fuel. As I read AE911 Truth and other websites, as well as books such as those by David Ray Griffin, by 2005 or so I was absolutely convinced that the WTC buildings had been destroyed by controlled demolition methods.

The theory that the three towers collapsed due solely to aircraft impact defies the physics law of conservation of momentum. Simply, the impact of the collapsing upper section does not have the force necessary to push through the stronger lower sections at an ever accelerating rate. (The increase in acceleration during collapse was documented by independent researchers.) WTC 7 was not struck by an aircraft but also collapsed that same day. This collapse is entirely unprecedented in the history of fire-protected steel frame high rise construction. The only way the three towers could have collapsed in the manner observed was by additional forces, such as demolition charges, being added to the buildings.

I can accept that the fires in building 7 went unchecked given that the fire department took such a tremendous 'hit' earlier in the day. I could even accept that the frame could be weakened and the structure might lean in a crazy and dangerous manner. But I cannot accept that it would collapse with perfect symmetry in a matter of seconds. It has long been my opinion that the collapse of building 7 is the 'smoking gun' which will eventually unravel the official narrative.

I studied physics as part of my electrical engineering degree. Since graduating I have studied physics on the side and always had an interest in the subject.
I understand that buildings can't fall at free fall speed if some of the gravitational potential energy is used up in blowing out windows, bending columns. Also, it seems to me that a building would tip over rather than fall into its own strongest supports. It seems logical, then, that the buildings were helped. I would be interested in seeing whether the columns from the core were bent and twisted or cut in pieces by the destruction.

Ground Zero should have been treated as a crime scene, but the wreckage was quickly removed - why was this allowed?

I have a BSME and 30+ years as a construction and mining engineer designing and working with heavy machinery in open pit mining where explosives are used.
I want more research to explain what happened, at least with WTC 7. The video of its collapse doesn't seem to agree with what we are being told. My experience with structural steel in heavy machinery is that it would more likely yield than fracture and I don't think it would free fall.

Having seen videos of the WTC towers (and particular WTC 7) collapsing and numerous videos showing the demolition of a building, I must agree that the destruction of WTC 7 highly resembles a building being brought down under controlled circumstances. The two towers also fell in a similar way a building would under controlled conditions. I, who am not a structural engineer, easily understand that a fire could not of cause the towers to collapse the way they did. As explained in the presentation (and other videos which can be found via youtube) that the fuel from the plane burns at a temperature lower then the melting point of steel (and this data is easily found through google or chemical handbooks). This would mean that steel core of the building would have been unaffected in all areas which did not sustain damage from the planes impact. And even if for some extreme reason, the fuel burned at a temperature high enough to melt the steel core (locally) the building would topple over. And one doesn't need a computer modeling program to figure this out. A simple thought experiment would suffice. The fact that the building came down on itself suggests that the building mass below the impact point was removed. This is the only possible way that the building could heve come down accelerating (initially) at an equal rate as an object under vacuum. This also indicates that the WTC towers were brought down in a controlled manner and not as a result of fire. The physical evidence presented in the presentation, proving there was thermite present in the aftermath, is a strong indication for controlled demolition (if not absolute proof). This easily explains all the molten steel witnessed at ground zero, since the thermite reaction produces (molten) iron, aluminium oxide and heat. The fact that thermite residue was found at the site, indicates that thermite may have been a contributing factor (if not a more dominant factor) to the collapse of the buildings. The fact that NIST does not include this fact in the report (molten steel), and that a representative for NIST even denied there being any witnesses which could state that there was molten steel at ground zero (of which there were plenty) suggests a corruptive force influencing the investigation which NIST carried out. Also, since the investigation carried out violated basic scientific research methodology, (probable false conclusion and failure to return and alter initial fire hypothesis which would lead to a more adequate conclusion) the entire investigation and its results are rendered invalid. This means that a new investigation must be initiated to definitively conclude the cause of the destruction of the towers. A startling aspect to realize is that an official investigatory system overseeing one of the worst crimes carried out since WW II, so ineffectively investigated the crime. The ineffectiveness of the research carried out is so severe, it wouldn't be surprising if the actual objective of the report was to prevent the public from discovering an alternative theory (controlled demolition).

Regardless of the reason for the collapse, the American public deserves to know what truly happened on September 11th, 2001. As a student, I am a hard worker in my community between volunteering and working 50 hours a week, and engaged in school based work (classes, study groups, etc.) amounting up to 20 hours a week. I keep very busy.
In my opinion, I feel that taking a strong stand against the investigation is completely off-base if there is nothing to hide. If I were a person who had no knowledge, and was completely unaware of what happened on 9/11/01, and then was handed just the basic information regarding this travesty, I would want to know that I was receiving the truth FAR beyond a reasonable doubt. What harm comes from an independent, unbiased, scientifically backed investigation? Especially if, once again, there is nothing to hide.

I read philosophical books ranging across the spectrum, as I believe you can't form an opinion without every side of the story.
According to physics (which one could learn in an introductory physics class), a falling object moves along the path of least resistance. The Twin Towers, had they fallen due to fire or structural weakening from a plane, would fall downward until they met with resistance from the lower structure and then fallen outward. It defies physics that the towers fell into themselves, along the path of most resistance, without the central columns being taken out. The only way I can see that having happened, is through the use of controlled demolition. WTC 7 was never hit by a plane and collapsed into its own footprint, making it the first steel structured building to collapse due to fire in all of history. It collapsed at nearly free fall speed with a controlled demolition trademark of a crimp in the top of the building before it collapsed. The fact that the 9/11 Commission Report never mentions WTC 7 is enough evidence to demand a new investigation.

From the moment I first saw it happen, I got a feeling in my gut that told me, Something just doesn't look right here. Two buildings damaged in very different ways and yet they collapse in almost identical fashion. And a third just collapses later in the day? Something very fishy going on here.

I am a 5 year student of Architecture (interactive with Engineering) at the University of Cincinnati, with well respeced principles in my daily work designing, estimating and constructing architectural facades in several US markets.
It seems impossible to me, with my Architectural / Engineering background that buildings could fall at free fall speeds through the path of greatest resistance, especially given that explosive effluences are apparent several stories before the debris cloud from the collapse.

I am only a part time student and claim in no way to be a professional architect or engineer. I have dedicated many many hours to researching an all encompassing umbrella of facts relating directly and indirectly to 9/11. I have read the Commission Report three times, not including referencing, and have uncovered many holes if you will. I believe that it is very sad that it has been close to a decade since this tragedy has happened, and yet we sit idly by demanding no explanation.
When one embarks to find answers to the many questions left unanswered by the 9/11 Commission Report that person, if persistent, will find things that will shake them to the core. They will find things that will shake their beliefs in the very nation they once loved. The collapse of the Twin Towers, and Building Seven in particular, were obviously not merely the result of being hit by a commercial airliner.

I would like to know the truth, and whole truth about how the towers and third building collapsed. I don't think the third building should have fallen, and even if it had, it seems that explosives were used. If they were, how and why were they put there?

As Americans, we deserve to know the full truth. Anyone can look at the images of 9/11 and see flaws in what is Thought to be true if they are willing to look past the portrayals of that day. I love my country and I feel immense remorse for the victims of 9/11. So for them and anyone affected by that day, we have a duty to bring closure.

I am a business student at USM in Portland, Maine. I will be graduating in the spring. I have lived in Maine my whole life and I consider my self to be a patriot. More than anything I just want to finally be told the truth about 9/11. It has troubled me ever since I watched it on the TV from my elementary school classroom. I know that the collapse was not caused by the planes and I believe that the American people have the right to know.
To me it is extremely obvious that the collapse of all three buildings were a result of a controlled demolition. It does not take an architect to understand this. There are two tel tales that anyone can deduce from the videos. One, regardless of how hot the flames were and what the melting point of steel is, it is highly improbable that all of the load bearing support columns were weakened by fire at such a uniform rate that all three buildings collapsed with such a perfect downward vertical motion. It only would make sense that each building would most likely list to one direction or the other when collapsing. After all, if it was possible for fire to take a building down in such a straight fashion then demo crews would simply light a fire under any building they wanted to demolish. Two, the planes hit the towers 3/4 of the way up the building and tower 7 had fires near the bottom. However, when the buildings collapsed it is obvious that the top floors were the first to fall followed by subsequent ones. In the case of the towers, if the planes and their fuel was the cause of the collapse then we would see the building give way at the impact point first and the remaining top floors would have remained intact until they reach the ground at which point that part of the building would then be destroyed.

They were folly and fake attempts to attack the Middle East and gain public support. Also, the collision did not look real and the fact that it was caught on camera made it look fake and not real. I believe it was conducted by the US government itself. No Muslim could stage such an event and only the USA could plan such an event on such a large scale. Also, the way it was done, the evidence did not seem convincing enough for me to believe the passports burnt.

Been questioning 9/11 for years now and want some answers. Born and raised in Omaha Nebraska, graduated from Westside High School and currently attending UNO.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that we were lied too and the buildings fell due to controlled demolition!
