To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have a BA in psychology from Trinity University/San Antonio and a M Arch degree from the University of Texas/Austin. I worked in firms in Austin, Houston, and Dallas before working for 20 years as a corporate architect and project manager at Marriott International HQ and Sodexho (Marriott) HQ in Bethesda and Gaithersburg, MD (NIST was 'next door'), and Austin, TX. I currently have my own design/build management and consulting business in Texas and Virginia. I have acted as project architect, project manager, and project director on many projects in high-rise buildings in Dallas, New York City, DC, Virginia, and elsewhere. I spent many years managing projects in mid-town Manhattan while living in the DC/Maryland suburbs. Not long before 9/11, I was at the WTC meeting with the Port Authority to evaluate their RFP to manage the operation of the Windows on the World Restaurant. On 9/11 I was driving back to Maryland from Florida where I had received a national design award for a project I had designed and built.
On 9/11, my wife (and eventually our 4 children) were in our home in Frederick, MD as both the Pentagon and the Shanksville incidents occurred. These events geographically 'book ended' our home and shocked us all. We also lost a member of my mother's family (the McBrayer Scots clan, who came to America in the 1740's) at WTC 2. His name is Ken McBrayer. He worked for Sandler O'Neill & Partners. He was on the 104th Floor that morning. We are all 6 degrees of separation at most, of course, including the other million and counting who have been lost in the senseless, criminal wars and other illegal operations our country has launched based on a dark and terrible lie. There is more than enough evidence regarding the building collapses to require a real world, independent, and 'under oath' investigation into them. There are so many troubling questions that all of us, including the casualties, are owed answers to. We must demand this as citizens. Our nation, our constitution, and the world will never return to even a semblance of normalcy until the events of 9/11 are subjected to a genuine investigation. It is not yet too late. Justice is not just needed, it is absolutely required. Like so many others, I am shamefully late in coming to this. I always questioned the 911 Commission Report but was not totally aware of all the others out there working selflessly for an investigation. Being of an age to remember JFK, the Gulf of Tonkin, MLK, RFK, Wellstone and so many others almost leaves one too cynical and shell shocked to keep paying attention. My children, the arc of justice can be slow. Metanoia is painful. However, this must be done.

In my opinion, what happened at the WTC on 11 Sep 2001 cannot be the result of 2 planes slamming into the towers and 3 towers collapsing. If that version of the events, as described by the 9/11 Commission is true, then as engineers, we must immediately put an end to our activities, and proceed to bring down all the buildings in the world, as they are wholly unsafe. Furthermore, that is also an indictment on the education we received in applied physics.

Upon viewing the video of the collapse of the towers and comparing that to controlled demolitions of similar structures, I speculated that the official story was not the truth. A few days ago, I listened to a podcast and was thrilled that the experts are pursuing a disclosure of the truth. Though I believe the truth is much different than the official story, none of those who perished (including two USNA 1981 classmates) can be restored to life by bringing the perpetrators to full account. The evidence just does not add up to the original investigation reports. There have been many conspiracy videos about this in the past that got me thinking about other possibilities as to what happened on 9/11 but there were flaws within the video and they were not professionally based. However, this documentary clearly lays out the evidence and the flaws in the previous investigations that are backed by professional engineers and architects. There most definitely should be a private investigation into what happened on 9/11. The families who lost loved ones on that horrible day deserve the truth.

Much of the evidence presented in AE911's video was quite compelling from a scientific stand point. Although I am not an 'expert', as an engineering student I have a larger knowledge base than most about topics such as physics and structural integrity which are pertinent to the events of 9/11. I think that another investigation is necessary because there are scientific problems with the official report, I may not know exactly what happened but its pretty obvious to me that it's not what we were told.

I have spent hours and hours trying to put together a logical connection between the NIST report and the hard evidence that is available all over the internet, and in the film provided by AE911Truth. None of it ever adds up. It is clear that in this film there is more truth and raw information than what is being told as the 'official' accounts of what happened that terrifying day. And, it should show that there is something way more terrifying at stake here, and that is the ability to trust our government. There needs to be a deeper investigation on the events that had taken place that day, and why they felt the need to cover it up.

I am a college student who has a background in computer programming, I am a registered Independent. I would consider myself intelligent, rational, and I hold the belief that adhering to the scientific method when scrutinizing such an important event in American history is crucial.
I have developed many concerns regarding the collapse of both WTC Buildings as well as Building 7 after I have reviewed the official statements for myself. Initially I was skeptical, however now I feel it to be unethical to disregard my own common sense and intuition. How does a building with an iron column core collapse in a 'pancake fashion' at nearly FREE FALL speeds from one jetliner collision leaving powdered concrete and molten iron? Oh, and what exactly happened with Building 7? These are among many serious concerns that I share with the others on this petition. You don't need to be an expert to see that something isn't right here. It seems that there is enough evidence that reasonably supports a controlled demolition theory which should investigated, so that at the very least it could be ruled out.

I am a struggling small business owner and returning student. I tend to be rather straightforward and outspoken when I feel something is wrong, even if being so negatively impacts me.
I watched the news for hours every day for over six months after 911. This event had a very profound impact on me and everybody I knew. I did not know any victims first hand, but do know a couple of family members of victims.I do believe the EXPERTS (from around the world mind you) have raised more than enough questions/points to warrant further investigation. What is the problem? What has happened to our government? They (our government) answer to no one. 'Government of the people,' yeah, who believes that anymore? Honestly? If they (the government) want the official story to stick. That is the end of the story. Regardless, I will stand behind the EXPERTS and LOVED ONES of the victims in demanding the truth. I have worked at several Engineering/Architectural firms. I have done Autocad design drafting, structural steel design and concrete design. I have been a concrete foreman completing hundreds of residential house designs and foundations. I have been a mason foreman responsible for 30 to 50 masons and helpers, completing big box stores, several schools in NC and SC. I have also built shopping centers and malls consisting of millions of CMU and millions of brick. I am taking Commercial Construction Management couses at a local college and I am 45 credits into my Associates degree.
My personal knowledge of structural steel and concrete does not allow me to accept the answers that are being given, or the statements that have been made, by the federal government. Steel and concrete structures do not catch fire and burn, then collapse like WTC7 did, without help?

I feel the government inside our government or the one behind the scenes is taking the American people to a place that they do not want to be in. In my experience, airplanes made of aluminum cannot fly through steel framed buildings as most of the planes' remains should have crashed to the street below. Explosives would have to have been used to clear the path.

I have spent considerable time conducting my own research on the fact-based causes and explanations related to 9/11 and am reasonably educated on many facets of the day in question.
"When we look at the facts related to free fall, the existence of experimental/military grade thermite, the lack of any building ever crumbling under remotely similar circumstances, the obliteration of iron and steel, and the inexplicable collapse of building 7, science does us a favor by begging questions such as why the NIST report does not investigate these matters. Bush's brother being contracted to do construction on the towers prior to the attack certainly offers one theory as to where the charges came from. This is further corroborated when no invoices can be produced for this million dollar project. The removal of evidence from the site and its shipment to China compounds the theory. The fact of Air Force training exercises being conducted that day that simulated planes being hijacked obfuscated the ability of ATC to discern what was training-related and what was real is certainly an amazing coincidence. Finally, in tower 7, there were departmental files that were conveniently destroyed in the wreckage, such as Bush administration federal oversight records. There was also a man who was stuck in the building who witnessed hours of blast charges; he later was ""disappeared"" after coming forward with this information. The lack of severity of the fires is also suspect. The trick is to link the factual evidence to these organizational discrepancies and procedural and records anomalies. That link must be witnesses and members of the administration, firefighters, police, officials, and other people that have high credibility. We still need some of these people to fill in the blanks between evidence and theory."

If the buildings had nothing but the the planes hit them there would have been the center steel structure still standing but badly damaged and there would be a stack of floors at the bottom. The building fell at free fall speed and looked almost identical to a planned demolition. Weeks after this horrific event there was molten steel found at the crash site. A plane crash and fire itself would not produce enough heat to melt steel.

I have little faith in the all too corrupted words and actions of the U.S. Government. Many 'Elite' invested interests were able to gain from the events on 9/11. The government's explanation of the destruction of the Twin Towers is misleading and incomprehensive. The Towers were designed to withstand a jet airliner impact. However, the structural engineer of the Towers, John Skilling, knew that controlled demolition was a perfectly viable way to destroy them. AE911Truth and many other voices have shown there is an overwhelming amount of evidence and truth that a controlled demolition destroyed 1, 2, and 7 WTC.

With evidence using physics, mathematics, scientific research, video analysis, photo analysis, witness analysis, officials analysis, government analysis, testimony, structural engineering, explosive/demolition engineering, steel engineering with proven experiments, political background research, and military background research, I believe there are just too many facts that need to be addressed. There should be an extensive reevaluation of the 9/11 events. The message is clear from the government's side: they can't prove their story and they don't want to further investigate the issue for fear they will be exposed. It's time for the truth, no matter how painful.

I am currently a junior in college. I am studying to become a Mechanical Engineer.
The WTC twin towers could not have fallen straight down. If a building was severed at the airplane impact point (meaning complete structural failure), the top of the building would follow the path of least resistance which means that it would fall to one of the sides. If that isn't enough to make the government story seem wrong, then what about WTC building 7? The current explanation is that it fell due to a fire. I can tell you that a building of that caliber would not fall straight down without serious force like a magnitude 9 earthquake.
