PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I do not accept the official theory that WTC 7 collapsed symmetrically into its own footprint at nearly free fall speed due to structural damage and fires alone. An object falling to earth at free fall speed, by definition, does not encounter resistance along the way. The rigid structure of interconnected columns, beams, and girders provide substantial resistance to physical forces. Indeed, that is their function. This is one of many reasons why I feel a new, independent investigation is necessary. The ramifications from the events of that day are enormous for the people of the world. It is our duty to strive for the truth.

I didn't expect any structural failure but not even the upper floors toppled to the side. It was obviously a controlled demolition! No doubt that building 7 was brought down by explosives not fire. Yet high rises are continue to be built with little discussion of changes to the building codes.

I was born in Brazil, from two Italian parents, where I went to elementary school till 4th grade. When I was ten my parents got divorced and my mom decided to move back to Italy with me and my siblings. When I was 17, I did an exchange program and studied for an academic year in the US, where I learned about the alternative theories on 9/11. At the age of 19, I graduated from high school with a small thesis about 9/11. Currently I'm a freshman student of architecture at the Polytechnic School of Turin.
From the evidence I've been able to gather, I can say I don't believe in the official story about 9/11. Mainly because of the velocity (nearly free fall) at which all the skyscrapers fell, particularly WT7, which was not hit by any plane. To reach that speed, all the building's structures must have failed at the exact same time. If the collapse was due to gravitational force only, the floors would've dropped one on top of the other, thus gaining a little delay for every floor. Following this idea, and assuming that every floor would've taken at least 1 second to drop on to the next, the Twin Towers (110 stories high) should have taken almost two minutes collapse, but that's not the case as they completely collapsed in roughly 15 seconds. Please let the 9/11 events be examined by an independent commission.

It should, in my own opinion, be obvious to anyone that tall buildings made of steel and concrete simply can't collapse like in a controlled demolition. I knew this even as I watched the second tower collapse live on CNN. So long as I live I will always remember my reaction at that time. First a feeling of horror as the tower went down followed by me wondering how exactly officials could have had the entire building evacuated and then prepared for a controlled demolition in the time between the plane hit and the tower collapsed. Because that's impossible. The truth is staring everyone in the face but the lie is easier to live with. All you have to sacrifice is truth, justice and the integrity of recorded history.

I am a mother and college student and I live in upstate New York. I remember thinking it was a strange incident, how it was portrayed in the media. When it happened I was only about 17 yrs old so I didn't dig any deeper than what the media had told me. I remember all the speculation and things people would say, but with such pain surrounding the issue (especially exaggerated by the ones who wanted to keep it quite) I knew it was over my head and no use for me to say anything. Now that I am an old lady at age 32, I am starting to discover the truth and what really happened. I am not an architect or an engineer, but as I stated I am in college and I have common sense. I am generally smart in all areas and am not easily fooled. I would also say I have emotional intelligence which a lot of our society is either lacking or ignoring. I have researched this myself, but I see the degrees of the many architects and engineers who have investigated this for themselves and they have scientific evidence of such claims.
It is an irrevocable fact that the Twin Towers did not fall from just a plane crash. There is scientific evidence to back this up.

I do not believe the planes were actual commercial airplanes. A hijacker does not have the ability to fly a plane without auto-pilot. If they had auto-pilot on, they couldn't have flown into the towers.They couldn't have been the only reason the towers collapsed. There wasn't enough heat or stress to make the steal fail. Underground fires continued to burn and looked like lava, according to ground zero workers. How could the fire keep burning, without oxygen, and what generated all the heat?

I became aware of the myths regarding the September 11th attacks following a series of documentaries released by various sources including the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth organization. I am essentially a layperson who has never believed the 'official' explanation of how the twin tower and tower 7 collapsed.
When I watched the collapses live on national television it seemed quite apparent that controlled demolition had occurred in the case of all three World Trade buildings. Then when all the footage was pulled from t.v. I became suspicious when footage of these collapses was no longer being televised, supposedly to spare New Yorkers and family of the deceased further distress. I later decided to explore the 9/11 truth movement's internet presentations. The more I educated myself, the more I came to believe that we, as Americans, had been grievously misled about the science behind the 'official science' being used in the 9/11 commission's report. I believe we have all been misled into believing that a full and through investigation had transpired. My grandfather, Dr. L.W.
