On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

My first undergraduate program of study was Architecture in the mid-1980s with the University of West Virginia, but switched to Drafting with Carver Career Center in Charleston. Ironically, my first two areas of intense personal study were outrigger skyscrapers (WTC Towers) and underground construction (Bunkers). As I recall, the history of the term pancake goes back to the 1940s or 1950s in relation to SEISMIC studies of the performance of concrete and reinforced concrete buildings and was a descriptive term of the visible RESULT of collapses, NOT a MODE OF FAILURE. I knew then that the first explanation was pure propaganda, not scientific inquiry, and likely originated from some uninformed military source, not an educated civilian expert; especially since the means of destruction were different between the Towers and Building 7. The two WTC Towers were controlled explosions and WTC 7 was a classic implosion. In short, the evidence at hand convinced me that WTC 7 was a defacto standard controlled demolition, but that the towers were experimental silo demolitions; the most damning evidence being that the second tower struck was the first to fall in less than an hour. These [outrigger] skyscrapers are built to share the load between their cores and external frames, and any mode of total failure or progressive collapse begins with destroying both the core and frame on more than one side of either tower, and had the catalyst been any combination of plane crashes and office fires exclusively it would have taken several days to sufficiently weaken the towers (we know it wasn't plane crashes alone since the towers absorbed the crash inertias and redistributed their structural loads). Instead it was mere minutes. Some type of explosives and accelerants must have been used to account for the additional energies needed to trigger and to MAINTAIN the silo type collapses of the WTC towers. Lastly, it's funny how investigators who are Architects or Engineers are derided as not being Demolition Experts, but Demolition Experts with civilian or military experience are dismissed as not being Engineering or Architectural Ph.D.s (among internet message board discussions and other venues). The red-herring being that it assumed that the real perpetrators would have had to have had extensive knowledge of both fields to pull off these demolitions; the reality being that the 19 alleged hijackers had neither. Two planes, three different collapses. A child can do that math.

Based upon the visual and empirical evidence presented, as well as the nature of the technical information that is missing from official reports and studies that are critical to completely understanding the dynamics comprising the destruction of the WTC buildings, it appears very unlikely that all three WTC buildings could have collapsed in what appears to be identical fashions. The problems identified in the subsequent review and analysis of the collapsed structures (i,e., mysterious liquefying structural steel, unexplained reports of multiple explosions, catastrophic failure of lower level core structural supports, residue of explosive material at the building sites) raises numerous questions that warrant a more complete study. Further criminal and scientific investigation and testing appears to be fully warranted to resolve all of these issues. It is for these reasons that I fully support the objective of this petition.

There is absolutely no other possible explanation from a science and engineering point of view. Science has no agenda. The additional supporting evidence (squibs, thermate, eyewitness accounts, etc.) is very useful, but ultimately, not even needed to prove with 100% certainty that all three WTC buildings were destroyed by explosive demolition. A scientific/engineering analysis of video showing the collapse of the 3 WTC buildings is ultimately the only evidence required to prove with 100% certainty that all three WTC buildings were destroyed by explosive demolition. Again, science has no agenda.

I was working on the core-and-shell retrofit of the landmark Bank of New York building at 48 Wall Street the morning of 9/11/2001. After being notified that the WTC north tower was on fire, I paused a project meeting for a 15 minute break. We never got back to it. I personally stood at the corner of Liberty Park, which is across from WTC Borders Book Store when the second plane hit. The things that went on over the next few days I have always wondered about and questioned in my mind. On day three, I was called back for the disconnect of 48 Wall St. from the power grid. This was necessary, as the electric company would be attempting to power up downtown and did not want to electrically blow out any buildings on power up. How amazing it was to witness; truly an incredible effort to re-set a temporary power grid above ground over all of the lower downtown area in such a short time. Especially, which I did not know at the time, the main power feeds were completely severed from the collapse. The quantity of heavy cabling required on site so quickly and laid out on the street surfaces - alone an incredibly coordinated task - add to it all the volcanic ash type dusting, vehicles all over the areas and war zone type images. Now in retrospect, the coordinated removal of the debris began immediately. The firm I was with had assigned one or two engineers to assist on dismantling design and sketching. They along with one of the firms huge cranes were removed shortly after. From my first basic structural classes, I was told that the biggest danger to a steel structure that was exposed to high heat was that the affected or exposed steel would eventually lose its integrity and become rubbery - stressed past its modulus of elasticity. In witnessing the second plane hit the south/east corner of the south tower, and assuming that the heat was intense enough - long enough, the tower would have failed at and around impact height. In my opinion, it should have looked like a wrecked car that had been broadsided. The building would have been compromised from that corner and up and diagonally. To the extent that adjacent structural bays away from impact or heat areas would have reacted from the new imposed lateral and vertical stresses, I cannot speculate, I would only say that it would have been slow. That's all for now . . . My prayers to all those firemen (many just boys, it seemed), whose faces I looked at as they got out of their cars and pick-ups and were suiting up in fire equipment. The faces of disbelief as they walked the block or two towards WTC. These are but a few images I will never forget.

The symmetrical collapse of all three towers, the free fall rate of speed for building 7, the nanothermite composites and iron microspheres found in the dust samples, the claim of one failed column causing building 7 to collapse, and the recycling of building 7 in China, are just a few examples of why there are gaping holes and unanswered questions regarding the events surrounding 9/11. These are valid questions, and a new investigation is strongly encouraged. As I type this, additional Engineers and Designers at my firm are watching this documentary, and the demand for a new investigation will soon be too strong to ignore.

I am very skeptical that a tower would collapse like that from burning jet fuel alone. The world trade center was a very structurally sound design. I would like to see (or even perform myself) a macro scale structural finite element analysis, with the entire potential energy of the aircraft applied in the most destructive way possible. I seriously doubt it would fail the way we all saw on 9/11. Also, thermal modelling could explain the molten steel witnessed at ground zero.

I have spent an extensive amount of time investigating the events of 9-11. After educating myself about what actually happened and realizing the fraud that was being perpetrated I began reaching out to others about what I had learned. I intend on changing my major from Human Biology and transferring to the field of engineering, hopefully chemical engineering.
It is clear as day that the collapse was due to the cause of controlled demolition. I am merely a high school graduate with only grade 12 physics and chemistry knowledge and all the evidence provided by AE911Truth proves that their claims are true or are at least the closest thing to the truth. I believe that NIST was either involved directly with the incident by telling false testimony and covering up evidence or just did an irresponsible job of investigating the incident. It's upsetting how a recent high school graduate with limited science knowledge knows better than the people of NIST.

I am a junior in college, currently working on my biology degree. I am a house painter and a math tutor.
It does not make sense that WTC 7 fell along with the twin towers. There were plenty of other surrounding buildings that experienced more damage than building 7, and yet it fell. My question is how much mass was above where the plane hit, how much force would it be inducing on the lower portion of the tower, how much momentum did the upper portion have, and was it enough mass, force, and momentum to reduce the structurally sound lower portion of the tower down to rubble?
