To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I'm not a structural engineer, but I know enough to know that we're not getting the whole story here. The way that the buildings collapsed certainly looked like a controlled demolition. How is it that the buildings fell at free-fall acceleration and straight down, doing virtually no damage to any surrounding buildings (especially building 7, which wasn't even hit by anything)?

Having watched a number of films on how buildings are brought down on their own footprints as a kid, my immediate reaction to seeing the towers fall was controlled demolition. Another question that came to mind, being a former Navy pilot and knowing SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for hijacked aircraft, was where were the interceptors? That is a question that has never been adequately explained, to my knowledge.

I have been performing commissioning services for the mechanical systems of large buildings for a little over a year. I received my B.S in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland this past Winter where my focus was on energy production.
The amount of energy nessasary to remove the mass of concrete/steal below the points of impact of buildings #1 and #2 (as proven by the free fall acceleration shown in any video), and to cause the complete symmetrical disintegration of building #7, is simply an order of magnitude away from the available force of gravity alone. Also, because the direction of the force of gravity is directed downward toward the mass of the structure below it, it would not be possible for any of the 3 buildings to fall without resistance (which would be shown in videos as a rate of acceleration far less than that of gravity). Large pieces of debris were expelled football field lengths away (an outward force would be required). The fires are irrelevant because they are an asymmetrical force on the structures while videos clearly show a symmetrical collapse. There is also physical evidence of both the byproducts of explosives, and non-detonated explosives, found in the debris. The material found possess, in a large enough quantities, the amount of energy needed to cause buildings to collapse at the same speed as that of mass which has no resistance between itself and the earth. Numerous eye witness accounts report secondary explosives. It is simply, without a doubt, impossible that gravity alone caused the destruction witnessed and there is evidence to support an alternative view. A new investigation is needed to include the repeatable and proven physical laws that we have come to accept as truth.

I have over forty years' experience in HVAC. I have been involved in the commercial and industrial building industry in many facets -- manufacturing management, wholesaling management, contractor, engineering consultant, and facilities engineer.
It seemed as if the collapses were classic implosions. While not a structural engineer, my HVAC design work has necessitated basic knowledge of structures to prevent overload from chilled water piping and rooftop HVAC machinery (chillers, air handling units, package cooling units, etc.). My placement of these items required interfacing and approval of the structural P.E. of record.

Looking back, I think because of the sheer horror of the event that I was in denial. My initial research into the WTC Building 7 collapse is what led me to research further. It became increasingly apparent that jets and fires were not what brought the three buildings down -- these were classic cases of controlled demolition. The American people need first to learn the truth about how those buildings really came down and then uncover who all were responsible, but I fear our main obstacle is that the foxes are guarding the hen houses.

AA - liberal arts. AS - civil engineering technology. BS - construction management technology. One river crossing, and two highway over-passes as a form carpenter. Safety Specialist on the largest drawbridge in North America, Portland, Maine. Field engineer on two bridge replacements in Epsom, NH. Co-owner, managing partner, Horizon Builders (residential construction), dozens of 'heavy-renovations', multitude of weatherization projects (Southern Maine).
Beyond the politics of who and how, it is contrary to my education that these THREE buildings could defy physics and collapse (nearly) simultaneously. I have long contended that, given the safety factors involved, that Towers 1 & 2 could collapse to grade elevation without the upper reaches of the structures toppling over. It seems for the duration of the event(s), the debris was being ejected *away* from the structures, thus effectively INCREASING the strength of the lower portions of the column sections. (Sadly, people who have no knowledge of structural design or strengths of materials will never grasp the significance of what I'm explaining). Also, the official explanation for Building 7 is reprehensible. The notion that a single column 'walking off its seat' has no legitimacy due to the redundancy within that structure. Columns don't walk off their seats, they're substantially connected with bolts or other anchors. In all three cases, the buildings seem to have been 'helped' to collapse to ground elevation, and within Thor own foot-prints.

Worked in the Oil and Gas Industry for 30 years and have been involved in many Refineries and Oil rigs and fully understand structural design, and with some fire training, I can not come to terms with office fire causing WTC 7 to collapse straight down. This is not right.
All three buildings were designed to the highest standard and then some, a structure that could hold three times the weight above, yet all three buildings fell to the ground! The ONLY reason WTC 1 & 2 fell to the ground is in a controlled manor. Two identical buildings that were hit by two planes and yet fell down exactly the same........not right there, then there's WTC 7 this is a simple controlled demolition...plain and simple. You can't even defend this, office furniture on fire and melts all structure in symmetry again it falls to the ground........add the explosions evidence and it's plain and simple. CONTROLLED DEMOLITION X 3.
