To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

One of the government's most commonly stated missions is to protect its citizens. Regarding 9/11, this duty would certainly include understanding the true root cause of the destruction in New York City that day...for all three buildings. For NIST and the government to assume that combustion of office materials in a small area of the building caused the symmetrical collapse of Tower 7 is simply irresponsible. It also demonstrates absolute neglect in their duty to protect its citizens from attack. If terrorists could fly planes into WTC 1 and 2, could they not have wired tower 7 for demolition? Shouldn't we be absolutely sure that's not what happened? Looking at the collapse, nobody can deny that it appears to be controlled demolition. So the next question is, who wired the building? The refusal by NIST to test for residues of explosives is beyond belief.

During the 1960s I studied construction technology at IUPUI in Indianapolis. I obtained a BFA from Herron School of Art in 1974. I became a licensed architect in the state of Indiana through the grandfather clause in 1977. During my career I taught construction technology at IUPUI, Ivy Tech, and Vincennes Universities. I worked for medium to large architectural firms on projects of varying sizes, both residential and commercial. I established a private practice specializing in residential and small commercial projects. I became LEED accredited in 2005. Throughout my architectural carrier, I have produced artwork based on Chaos Theory and Fractal Geometry.
It is obvious that the WTC buildings were brought down by controlled demolition. This fact has huge consequences for our nation and the world. We are at a crossroads. How we come down on the two sides of this issue will bear heavily on the direction of humanity's future. At the here and now, we must find the courage and perseverance to uncover and confront the truth wherever it may lead. Only then can we begin the work of fashioning a better world. I am proud of our profession for taking the lead on this issue. Our expertise, our ability to reason and present complicated concepts, our integrity and professional restraint are precisely the qualities needed. At this moment in time, we are the ones.

When I saw the Pentagon Conspiracy movie on the Internet, and Loose Change 2nd Edition in 2004 I suddenly knew the truth and have attempted to spread the word as effectively as I can--I give a lot of DVDs to my students to watch at home. Our active 9/11 group has hosted Robert Bowman, David Ray Griffin, Cindy Sheehan, and in Sept., Kevin Ryan as speakers to enlighten and inform the local population. I have had an AE 911 Truth bumper sticker on my car for over a year. I just finished Hal Sisson's Modus Operandi, and though it is fiction, it sure offers a lot of plausible explanations for how 9/11 happened. I listened to Paul Zarembka recently on Guns and Butter, and wow, he has a lot to say as well. A lot of good information out there, people need to get it. Donating to NYC CAN to help their effort--how I wish the mainstream media would pay attention to that drama instead of the stupid crap they focus on! I'm a civil engineer with over 17 years of experience in transportation. My study of the WTC-7 collapse is not from a structural engineering perspective, only straight physics. I look forward to a structural engineer providing a more reasonable explanation for the rate of collapse.
I can't get past the consistency of the WTC-7 collapse and any number of controlled demolition operations. I've looked at overall time of collapse vs. free fall and from a conservation of momentum point of view. The correlation is striking and hard to explain without a simultaneous failure of all support within the WTC-7.

Even to a layman, the collapse of WTC 7 looks exactly like a building demolition. If I prepared a report on a structural failure and didn't justify my results and provide full data and calculations, models and tests, I would probably get fired. Yet NIST got away with this in their report on WTC 7. A truly scientific study on the collapse of tower 7 with peer review and no agenda or political bias should be performed.

As I watched the collapse occur on the morning of 9/11/01 I was shocked because I had been sure that the buildings would not collapse as I watched for the time between the impact and the collapse. The failure mode made no sense to me as I watched it. I read the article in the New Yorker about the structural engineer of the building about a month later. He wondered if the fault lay in a cost cutting measure at the time of construction that was forced on him - one in which less insulation was wrapped around the steel. He blamed himself for the failure. I find the 9/11 Blueprint for Truth Evidence far more convincing.

I am a Civil Engineer-in-Training working for the City of Milwaukee. I have researched this event continuously for the last 2 years and have been interested in it for the last 4. This event took place on my birthday so I feel compelled to find the truth about what happened that day. So many pieces to this disaster don't seem to mesh with what the government told America and I want to find out what happened. If our government is this corrupt, they must have their own agenda and are not making decisions by the people for the people.
Even though Debunking 911.com says there was a hole in the south side of building 7, that conspiracy theorists did not take into account, it does not mean the building falls neatly into its own footprint. If there is a hole on one side of a building, the building will tend to collapse toward the weakest point, toppling the building over or collapsing in some sort of non-symmetrical manner. Videos from building 7 show the building, at the same time from all 4 corners, collapsing straight down into its own footprint, not damaging anything else around it. How does this happen if there wasn't some other element helping with the collapse?

I find it truly astonishing that the professional engineering societies can be so cowed by establishment pressure that there is not a groundswell of protest against the absurd official version of the 9/11 Twin Tower collapses as well as the impossible WTC 7 collapse. He said to me, 'Look at this video of a tower in Paris and notice it burned for DAYS'. There's a TV interview that has been deleted. 2 firefighters explained exactly what they heard.
