To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The official version never made sense to me. I anticipated that explosives would have been required just by hearing a description of the collapse on 9/11/2001. Quick calculations I made based on conservation of momentum trying to convince people the official explanation was false gave a 120 second collapse time for a gravitational collapse & 35mph to 60 mph lateral mass ejections which are not possible if only gravity driven. Newton's 3rd Law required the complete destruction of the falling top of the towers that should have left 60 stories of intact buildings standing after a gravitational collapse ended. Energy available from a gravitational collapse was insufficient to explain all features of the actual collapse. Core columns could be seen disintegrating in sections after the collapses ended. Steel frame buildings, by design and properties of materials, could not fail from oxygen-starved hydrocarbon fires. The buildings were designed to withstand airplane collisions of the 757/767 class and had withstood natural forces far greater over the life of the buildings. In short, I'm an engineer and understand the laws of physics and the official explanation violated at least 1/2 dozen of them.

I earned a bachelor's in petroleum engineering, graduating cum laude, from the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) in 2012. Subsequently, I went to work for BP (British Petroleum) as a petroleum engineer in 2013, working there as a drillsite engineer for 6 years, from 2013 until 2019. Prior to this, for 5 years I was an excavator shear operator at C&R Pipe & Steel in Fairbanks, Alaska, that processes all oil field scrap from the Alaska North Slope oil fields. In this job I operated a 70-ton 345 Caterpillar excavator with a Genesis shear head attached. On a daily basis I cut drill pipe, casing pipe, railroad iron, I-beams, and even aircraft (from the nearby Eielson Air Force Base.
Based on my job experience and engineering background and education, I know for certainty that structural steel, especially the thicknesses and amount of which was in WTC1, WTC2, and WTC7 cannot fail either by weakened steel above it or from office fires. For 5 years, from 2004 to 2009, I operated a 70-ton Caterpillar excavator that had a 24,000 lb Genesis shear head on the front of it. I used this on a daily basis to demolish pre-fabricated steel structures, cut drill pipe, casing pipe, railroad iron, I-beams, and even aircraft (from the nearby Eielson Air Force Base). The aircraft in particular were paper thin and fell apart like paper when manipulated with the shear head. Steel, on the other hand, is a different story. From this work experience I know intuitively that steel cannot fail in the way NIST says was the case, and I also know from my engineering schooling that a steel structure failing in a collapse would not accelerate as quickly or quicker than the acceleration of gravity. Also, if the potential energy of the building was the only energy supplying the collapse, there would be no energy surplus available to eject multiple ton steel beam segments laterally, away from the collapse. NIST's official story is a sham, and that anyone is expected to believe it is laughable.

In the intervening years I worked at a variety of jobs, the most applicable being the 12 years when I did instrumentation & controls and then mechanical design engineering for a variety of industries. I have a typical plodding but thorough and mechanistic and engineering approach to any subject I approach.
I felt indignation when I first heard that people were questioning the official version of 9-11 events. It took several years for it to filter through to me that building 7 fell at free fall speeds 7+ hours after the towers. I've perused the NIST report dated 2008. I do understand the elaborate chain of events described therein and they sound very unlikely. I've heard some expert testimony questioning many of the premises and details NIST used to construct their report. I'm convinced the NIST report is unsatisfactory and that we owe it to the victims, their families and to ourselves to continue investigating. The bad guys are still out there. Their monumental arrogance and sociopathic mentality will continue to surface if we don't.

In my professional opinion, the 3 World Trade Centers were a controlled demolition . Aircraft/Jet Fuel cannot melt structural steel ! The aircrafts would not have even penetrated the outer steel columns of the Twin Towers . WTC 7 according to eyewitness testimony was in fact brought down in a controlled manner, as stated by a few Firefighters who were nearby .Larry Silverstein, the lease holder, on a PBS interview said, 'We decided to pull it because of the fires'.

From 2010 to 2012, I began watching numerous Youtube videos and documentaries on the anomalies of 9/11. If the official narrative had been true, there would not be hundreds of inconsistencies and anomalies that can not be plausibly explained by the official story. We are not just talking about one or two but, it seems, when dissecting the facts from the speculation, it is amazing how the official narrative rings untrue on every level of scrutiny. I was particularly persuaded by the presentation of Professor Chandler who's insight into the physics of the collapses was irrefutable.
As a layman, who has meticulously researched the many aspects of 9/11, I have come away knowing the official narrative is false. The American people have been deceived by government officials and media on a scale that is hard to comprehend. I walk away from this research believing something very wrong has been committed on 9/11 by people of whom need to be exposed and brought to justice. There is so much evidence sitting right in front of people if they are willing to look.
