To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

How the 3 towers failed defies the science and rules which we practice under as a profession. With respect to the future growth of knowledge, this event needs to be investigated correctly. We need to determine how the science of structural engineering and material properties seemed to stop being valid for that 1 day, for those 3 buildings.

WTC-7 supposedly collapsed at free fall speed from a fire. I am unaware of any other steel framed building ever collapsing from fire alone. I read the official 911 report and saw no mention of WTC-7. There should be an official investigation into the collapse of this building.

I am a graduate of the City College of New York, School of Architectural & Environmental Studies with a degree in B.Science-Architecture. I have worked for more than 10 years in the field of architecture. I am a Project Architect in a New Jersey firm where I have worked for more than 6 years. I have experience in commercial and residential design. I am very skilled on the computer aided drafting and can create designs in 2D as well as 3D.
I don't believe that the fact that the airplanes that struck the North and South Towers by themselves made the Twin Towers fall. I do not doubt that the possibility of a controlled demolition was used to purposely bring the buildings down. Somewhere in a remote desert, maybe in Arizona, a scaled down version of the World Trade Center - ALL 7 buildings as they once stood, should be built and then have similarly scaled down - remote controlled U.A.V.'s flown into them with a fuel similar to what the planes were carrying and let it burn for the exact amount of time before the collapse, to see if the reenacted fires would by themselves result in a collapse of the towers. This would be a test similar to the tests that are conducted inside wind tunnels for the design of aircraft.

The collapse of WTC 7 was an unambiguous and outstanding example of building implosion. It honestly baffles me how anyone could not see this. WTC 1 and WTC 2 were demolished in an unconventional fashion. Top-Down style demolitions are rare but not impossible. What intrigues me about WTC 1 and WTC 2 is their complete destruction. The contents of the building were turned into a fine dust.

I left school at age 18 and worked in various factory's and farming jobs until I was 21 years old. I then went to London to work as a computer operator. I have since worked for over 46 years in the IT industry for a number of Banks, Building societies, Insurance companies and Energy companies.
I was in London when I saw the events of 9/11 unfold on a TV. At the time it happened, I kept getting flash backs to a centre page Daily Mail news article that described how terrorists could hit the twin towers with planes. Although, even this article stated the steel structure design would stop the towers from collapsing. I believe that this news paper article was produced in the late 1970's or early 1980's, but I've since been unable to locate it. I believe the original 9/11 report was a whitewash with many unanswered questions being over looked and a lot of key evidence being destroyed. As a result, I would like to see a truly independent investigation into 9/11.

Watched this happen in real time when I was living in CT. Went to Ground Zero the following February 2002. Since then I've heard other thoughts that it was impossible for a plane to hit the Pentagon by the size of the hole. Watched George Bush's face when he was told about the event. He was in a classroom. I'll never forget that look. Like he knew all about it. Just a feeling.
