PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Nearly every official aspect of 9/11 has been proven false by professionals (architects/engineers, pilots, stewardesses, black box engineers, cell phone analyzers, scientists, etc) and key points have not been investigated, such as: stock option purchases, WTC insurance, certain people not working, Israelis with explosive residue in vans released, gold in WTC, Bush reaction and actions in Florida while the US was under attack, Pentagon lost monies, symmetric and rapid falling of three WTC buildings, planting of evidence (passports and lost baggage of terrorists), fake Osama Bin Laden responsibility footage (wearing a wedding ring - strict muslims don't do this), recruiting of airline personnel by CIA, WTC worker reports of bombs in basement and lobby, and finally proof of explosives (visual, reported and recorded, and proved scientifically).

The collapse of the WTC towers on 9/11 was a remarkable and puzzling event. Several aspects of the collapse have yet to be satisfactorily explained: the collapse was extremely rapid (near free fall); the destruction was nearly symmetrical (in spite of highly asymmetric structural damage); the collapse generated significant explosive upwelling pyroclastic-like clouds of pulverized material. The most widely cited explanation is a Progressive Collapse Theory published by Ba'ant and colleagues. This model however has significant weaknesses. It is 1D (hence ignores the WTC towers' excellent capacity for load redistribution); it is not able to explain the highly symmetrical nature of the collapse; nor can it explain the generation of clouds of pulverized concrete and other anomalous aspects of the collapse. In my opinion the hypothesis of controlled demolition needs to be seriously investigated.

All the evidence needs to be looked at because the 'official' explanation doesn't fit the free fall of building 7 and the near free fall of towers 1 and 2. Why was there little or no structural resistance from the lower floors when the buildings came down?

This event defied the laws of science. The evidence was removed and sent to China before a thorough forensic investigation could be conducted. Three buildings free fell in their footprints. Turbines found at the crash sites do not match the aircraft that reportedly hit the buildings. Four inch thick beams were bent without any cracking. Many of the beams sheared off in a straight diagonal line as if they had been cut or burned. The telltale puffs of smoke as the buildings fell mirrors controlled demolitions. Finally, the compression of three floors into a solid mass, three feet thick indicates tremendous heat.

I have 20 years post graduate experience as a structural engineer working in the offshore oil and gas, and laterally, renewable energy sectors. I have been running my own consultancy company for the last 10 years providing structural engineering services to offshore wind, wave and tidal energy projects.
The collapses of the towers appear to happen in a symmetric fashion at free fall velocity - indicating the use of demolition. Molten metal in the basement and columns sliced neatly at 45 degrees indicates the use of thermite. The collapse of Building 7 is particularly suspicious given that it was only hit by falling debris - and if was going to collapse at all - it certainly would not have been symmetrical - nor complete.Fire endurance tests with actual models failed to cause collapse. The NIST structural simulations - are not full simulations from the moment of impact to final collapse and the failure mechanisms seem to have been manually adjusted rather than relying on the pure physics capabilities of the software. The pulling forces on the perimeter columns by the sagging floors were adjusted' (NIST, 2005, p. 142) to cause yielding. A full and proper non-partisan peer reviewed set of analysis simulations has yet to be carried out. I suspect proper simulation will verify the physical model test results i.e. the buildings would not have collapsed due to aircraft impact alone.

It only takes a moment watching ANY other sanctioned demolition project (films and videos) to understand what happened to WTC1, WTC2 and WTC7. The problem for the NIST report is that it foundationally defies gravity, mass and acceleration.
