PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Conjecture about the US Government being involved in the destruction on September 11th, 2001 is insensible, and ignoring new questions and scientific evidence is equally insensible.

I am recently retired from a 30-yr career as a structural engineer in the military defense aerospace industry, holding DoD Secret Clearance throughout. My academic training was in civil structural engineering, and while I spent most of my career in space launch applications focusing on rocket structures, I managed the Ground Systems Structures Section at The Aerospace Corporation and have considerable practical experience with ground structures and facilities. I also have vast experience in failure investigations of launch systems and am well versed in the inter-disciplinary analyses -- thermodynamics, ballistics, structural dynamic and structures -- required to develop and explore credible hypotheses.
I was initially a skeptic regarding the possibility that the WTC was brought down by explosives. I erroneously thought that the conspiracy theories were based upon the notion that steel had to melt to precipitate a failure (it does not), and that rocket fuel doesn't burn at sufficient temperature to liquify steel (which is true). After reviewing the overwhelming evidence presented by the 911 Truth Organization, it is apparent to me that the steel did in fact melt, and that is incontrovertible evidence of the use of explosives. Together with the visual evidence, particularly that of WTC 7's signature implosion, there can be no doubt in the mind of anyone trained in structural engineering that these buildings were brought down by carefully placed explosive charges. NONE WHATSOEVER. As unthinkable as it is to me, it is hard to believe that anyone except agents of the U.S. federal government could have had the access and resources necessary to commit this atrocity.

The real answers to what happened to this building on that day are such forbidden fruit that politicians are afraid to investigate. This is the Achilles heal of the whole 9/11 controversy. I currently have no technical schooling. I witnessed the tragic events on television and was totally shocked at what I say. Later I read reports regarding the incident and was not quite satisfied with what the government was saying. Also I felt that the way that the towers fell at almost the same time (though the attacks happened several minutes apart) and the way they fell didn't seem right. After years I watched some documentaries and read articles from engineers which pointed to something deeper that what was revealed. All I want is for the truth to be known and for the government to stop BS'ing the people. We have a right to know the truth!
There are Way too many questions and not enough answers. The Attack on the WTC/Pentagon and the downing flight 93 was Horrific but for the government to Hide details and lie to the people of the USA I feel was an even worse Travesty. The Towers I feel came down too precisely to have collapsed just from the sheer intense heat from the burning fuel. The fact that the towers didn't topple over upon impact attests to the overall strength of the construction.

I am convinced that the three buildings were brought down by a controlled demolition. What I want to know now is who and why. It is my opinion that the events on 9/11 were carried out by members of our government. If not, and al-Qaida did have access to the buildings then why does FEMA and NIST go out of their way to try and prove that the buildings were brought down by fire, what are they hiding? It is clear to anyone with the ability to deductively reason that those buildings did not collapse because of fires and impacts from the planes. I don't know how far up the chain this cover up goes but it must go very high because even top members of our government aren't willing to open a new investigation, either out of fear for their safety or because they were behind it.

In Rochester, NY the destruction of a once great building (I believe the Kodak #9 building) was televised and what I saw on 9/11 Building Collapses was just the same, a straight down drop. It never made sense to me that an airplane going through the top portion of the tower could make the whole building just drop in on itself so evenly and so totally.....gone. I watched a documentary showing President Bush in a classroom at a school when someone came in and told him what happened. He didn't show any reaction, I saw indifference...

I hold a degree from the Mark O Hatfield School of Political Science. After 9/11 I watched in horror as all of the historical indicators of tyranny and methods of demagoguery were conjured by the same government officials responsible for allowing the attacks of 9/11 to occur. The Bush administration ignored credible warnings that the attacks were eminent then obstructed meaningful investigations while hiding evidence from the public. I consider any government official not aggressively pursuing a public, unbiased, independent investigation backed by the subpoena powers of Congress to be complicit in these attacks.
After evaluating the evidence I believe there is no chance that one, much less all three, of the WTC towers could collapse due to fire and fall into their footprints without the help of explosive charges placed by knowledgeable persons. Furthermore, I don't believe that a commercial airliner could hit the pentagon and disintegrated leaving only a few fragments, and I know for a fact that cell phone calls could not have been made from a jet in flight as the technology was not available at the time.

I was intrigued by building #7 from the beginning. The towers were also curious, but not being an architect or having an understanding of how the buildings were constructed let me dismiss them to focus specifically on #7 -- I did a little research and was pleased to find out that other people had the same questions. The fact that the majority of the less intelligent people/people prone to believing in fairy tales I speak to tend to block you from finishing your sentence if you bring up demolition, absent of blaming anyone other than the terrorists, lets me know that a serious investigation is in order.

Ive studied building construction, and Ive also studied the effects of thermite/Thermate on steel. I have also studied the free fall collapse theory extensively. The Pancake collapse theory does not stand up to true in depth investigation.
I feel that the near free fall speeds of the towers collapse is very hard to attain with a pancake collapse. For the pancake theory to even be remotely plausible, there would have been much resistance from the floors below the impact areas, which would have slowed down the collapse. The debris that was thrown great distances away from the footprints of the buildings is also a giant question. Also the lack of a proper analysis of the dust, or soot that was created was never done.

I saw with my own eyes, the collapse of the World Trade Centers at freefall speed. I've listened to Richard Gage and the official stories and reports, including the National Geographic Special. National Geographic's staged tests were performed to convince the American people that the official story is true, but I could see it was not real science, just propaganda. Richard Gage gives us real science and I believe him. I'm concerned that the American people are not independent thinking enough to believe the truth because they've been condition to believe the brain washing machine - their television set. I am very scared for this country.
