PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

There is simply too much physical evidence that was ignored or unexplained in the first investigations. Another investigation is warranted. I have better odds winning the powerball lottery - three times in a row.Furthermore when systems fail energy release is asymmetrical because, well, something failed. All one has to do is watch movies like the latest Superman, Pacific Rim, or The Avengers to see how a building would collapse if catestrophically damaged on one side. It topples over, it does not fall straight down at free fall rate.

I've actually done the math: an analysis of Building 7 collapse acceleration. The standard kinematic equations were used to compute the speed of the building collapse. Note that these equations don't take many 'real-life' factors into account, such as air resistance, friction, and temperature. They are used to compute a theoretical 'ideal case' for use in the lab. Known data: g = 32.2 ft/s^2 (acceleration of gravity) d = 610 ft (height of bldg 7) vi = initial velocity (zero since bldg was at rest) vf = final velocity (in a vacuum) t = 6.5 seconds (elapsed time of collapse of bldg 7, according to picture found here: http://buildingwhat.org/wptemp/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/wtc7_collapse.jpg). Mathematical symbols used below: / = division ^ = exponent (ie; ^2 means squared) ( ) = multiplication. EXERCISE: Find percent of bldg 7 acceleration compared to free fall. Final velocity (using 3rd equation above) after 6.5 seconds: vf = 0 + 32.2(6.5) = 209.3 ft/sec. Now we can use vf in the 4th equation to get the distance something would travel in a vacuum. If this is close to the actual bldg height, this means that bldg 7 fell quickly, with relatively little restriction, like a controlled demolition would. d = vi + vf/2(t)d = 0 + 209.3/2(6.5)d = 680.2 ft. The percent change between the bldg height and free fall height is: %change = old value ' new value/old value(100). %change = 680.2 ' 610/680.2(100). %change = 10.3%. SOLUTION: Building 7 fell at 100% - 10.3% = 89.7% of free fall acceleration. CONCLUSION: Building 7 fell at roughly 90% of free fall acceleration. This seems like a high percentage for a large modern structure that was supposedly still being held up by structural steel beams and/or reinforced concrete columns. Mike Davis, 11/27/2010

I currently have no technical schooling. I witnessed the tragic events on television and was totally shocked at what I say. Later I read reports regarding the incident and was not quite satisfied with what the government was saying. Also I felt that the way that the towers fell at almost the same time (though the attacks happened several minutes apart) and the way they fell didn't seem right. After years I watched some documentaries and read articles from engineers which pointed to something deeper that what was revealed. All I want is for the truth to be known and for the government to stop BS'ing the people. We have a right to know the truth!
There are Way too many questions and not enough answers. The Attack on the WTC/Pentagon and the downing flight 93 was Horrific but for the government to Hide details and lie to the people of the USA I feel was an even worse Travesty. The Towers I feel came down too precisely to have collapsed just from the sheer intense heat from the burning fuel. The fact that the towers didn't topple over upon impact attests to the overall strength of the construction.

I am convinced that the three buildings were brought down by a controlled demolition. What I want to know now is who and why. It is my opinion that the events on 9/11 were carried out by members of our government. If not, and al-Qaida did have access to the buildings then why does FEMA and NIST go out of their way to try and prove that the buildings were brought down by fire, what are they hiding? It is clear to anyone with the ability to deductively reason that those buildings did not collapse because of fires and impacts from the planes. I don't know how far up the chain this cover up goes but it must go very high because even top members of our government aren't willing to open a new investigation, either out of fear for their safety or because they were behind it.

In Rochester, NY the destruction of a once great building (I believe the Kodak #9 building) was televised and what I saw on 9/11 Building Collapses was just the same, a straight down drop. It never made sense to me that an airplane going through the top portion of the tower could make the whole building just drop in on itself so evenly and so totally.....gone. I hold a degree from the Mark O Hatfield School of Political Science. After 9/11 I watched in horror as all of the historical indicators of tyranny and methods of demagoguery were conjured by the same government officials responsible for allowing the attacks of 9/11 to occur. The Bush administration ignored credible warnings that the attacks were eminent then obstructed meaningful investigations while hiding evidence from the public. I consider any government official not aggressively pursuing a public, unbiased, independent investigation backed by the subpoena powers of Congress to be complicit in these attacks.
After evaluating the evidence I believe there is no chance that one, much less all three, of the WTC towers could collapse due to fire and fall into their footprints without the help of explosive charges placed by knowledgeable persons. Furthermore, I don't believe that a commercial airliner could hit the pentagon and disintegrated leaving only a few fragments, and I know for a fact that cell phone calls could not have been made from a jet in flight as the technology was not available at the time.

I was intrigued by building #7 from the beginning. The towers were also curious, but not being an architect or having an understanding of how the buildings were constructed let me dismiss them to focus specifically on #7 -- I did a little research and was pleased to find out that other people had the same questions. The fact that the majority of the less intelligent people/people prone to believing in fairy tales I speak to tend to block you from finishing your sentence if you bring up demolition, absent of blaming anyone other than the terrorists, lets me know that a serious investigation is in order.

Ive studied building construction, and Ive also studied the effects of thermite/Thermate on steel. I have also studied the free fall collapse theory extensively. The Pancake collapse theory does not stand up to true in depth investigation.
I feel that the near free fall speeds of the towers collapse is very hard to attain with a pancake collapse. For the pancake theory to even be remotely plausible, there would have been much resistance from the floors below the impact areas, which would have slowed down the collapse. The debris that was thrown great distances away from the footprints of the buildings is also a giant question. Also the lack of a proper analysis of the dust, or soot that was created was never done.

I saw with my own eyes, the collapse of the World Trade Centers at freefall speed. I've listened to Richard Gage and the official stories and reports, including the National Geographic Special. National Geographic's staged tests were performed to convince the American people that the official story is true, but I could see it was not real science, just propaganda. Richard Gage gives us real science and I believe him. I'm concerned that the American people are not independent thinking enough to believe the truth because they've been condition to believe the brain washing machine - their television set. I am very scared for this country.

There is no way that this could implode three times the same way. Especially the third tower that had minimal damage and was NOT hit by a plane.
