To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

During the early 1970s, I was part of Howard Berglund's team at Naramore, Bain, Brady and Johanson, Architects, in Seattle, working on the plans for the Washington State University Science Center Building. I have actually worked in the building trades more than in education and have spent thousands of hours reading about the events of that day. As a father I feel a duty to my kids and future generations to do what I can to bring the truth to light.

WTC7 was clearly a demolition. Flight 77, a Boeing 757, can't fly at 500 mph at sea level; it's impossible, as the air is too dense. Flight 93 had no wreckage; I've watched videos of dozens of crash sites, and there is ALWAYS wreckage. This evidence doesn't support the official story.

I am not technically educated, but have nearly 10 years' experience in the industrial maintenance field. I have worked with structural steel during this time, using oxy-acetylene torches and welding as well. I know the temperatures it takes to reach the melting point, and jet fuel burning with a low amount of oxygen will not reach this temperature, especially in an hour. What bothers me is that these three buildings were the first ever to fall (at the rate of gravity) due to fire. Also, I believe the Sears Tower was hit by a plane, the fire extinguished, and it did not collapse. Building 7 of the WTC was not hit by a plane and still collapsed due to fire. Also, Larry Silverstein's comment of 'Well, we had such a tremendous loss of life today, maybe the smartest thing to do is just pull it' doesn't sit well with me either.

An independent investigation, if such a thing exists, should be conducted by a non-governmental commission, and be done with full public view due to the suspicious nature of the explanations given, that are obviously flawed to all who have the courage to consider them. The collapse appears to be consistent with a controlled demolition using explosives because of the symmetry and speed of their fall, the historical record showing no other structures of this type failing due to fuel fires, put options placed on airlines prior to the event, the collapse of Bldg 7 that was not even hit by a plane. The Thermite and Thermate detected in the dust layer deposited after 911, and other vast amounts of data provided by eye witness accounts, studies by professionals, documentaries, and other credible sources.

Upon waking to the first plane impact on the news live and watching the footage unfold on September 11th i knew that something was not right. Visually, the implosion of the three 9/11 buildings most resemble the Las Vegas demolitions of the past. To drop down that neatly in all three instances, seems highly unlikely unless by design i.e. planned and carefully placed explosives.

It essentially says in more technical verbage than I can say the doubts that I have had about 9/11 re: the collapse of the twin towers. All of this... all of this happened after 911 - Do we need to speak of all of this? I believe in justice, and I do believe in our country. And I believe that a full investigation to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 should happen. After listening to an architect explain the structure of the twin towers and the fact they were built with internal steel columns, my logic tells me that the way those buildings came down is questionable. How can they collapse the way they did if, in fact, this is the way the towers were built?
