PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I'm a professional engineer with over 40 years of experience. I'm currently licensed in three states: Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. My education and experience relate to the properties of materials used in building port, harbor, and bridge infrastructure. As a licensed civil engineer I have been trained and tested in competency related to civil engineering including structural design and the behavior of building materials. My formal education in engineering and related fields was at the University of Oregon, Oregon State University, and the University of Alaska at Fairbanks. I was trained in arctic engineering in Alaska, where I worked on the Alaska pipeline project for Bechtel. My job included monitoring controlled demolition work to create a cut at the summit of the Brooks Range, in preparation for road and pipeline construction.
Like others who have commented I also have a huge question about how WTC building 7 came down later in the afternoon of September 11th. By visual observation, all three buildings exhibited free fall characteristics very similar to characteristics of a controlled demolition. Reviewing literature that described the structural members I have serious doubts regarding the free fall collapse of the interior columns of WTC 1 and 2 buildings over a distance of close to 100 floors as a result of a limited amount of jet fuel. It seems more likely that the majority of fuel burned quickly near the point of impact, consistent with other aircraft crashes. The huge fireball and black smoke observed shortly after the impact suggests the majority of fuel burned quickly and the fire became oxygen depleted. There was likely not enough fuel reaching the lower floors to cause a complete collapse of either building. There were reports of nanothermite in the dust, of molten steel in the basement, and of local fires burning for a week or more after the event. There were reports of multiple and sequential explosions. Some explosions were even reported prior to the impact of the aircraft. These facts all raise more questions about how the buildings may have actually been brought down.

It is clear that there is much more to be learned than the 9/11 Commission report. Currently, many people justifiably believe that that report is in the same class as the Warren Commission report: a fraud. Because of this, many people are skeptical of all government activities. If, after a real investigation, the facts support the 9/11 Commission story, nothing could be more healing. If they don't, appropriate changes need to occur. And that could only be for the better. Clearly, the presence of molten steel and witness reports of explosions prior to airplane impacts or building collapse demand more research to either verify this explosive information, or debunk it with data.

From my experience I cannot believe that the towers would have fallen straight down. A building that tall would have fallen to the side if it had been caused from fire; especially the one tower that was hit on one corner. It would have fallen in that direction first. A friend of mine gave me Mr. Gage's presentation to watch, and during his talk I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Now I'm convinced an independent investigation should be carried out. Those eight years ago when I saw the first building collapse, I thought something looked out of place, but I didn't have the knowledge I needed to pinpoint what I thought was wrong. Mr. Gage's presentation has helped me come to terms about what I saw and how I felt that day.
The buildings seem to have been demolished. When I saw the first one collapse eight years ago, I couldn't believe my eyes. Something was out of place. Could a plane actually bring down the tower? Apparently one could. Then the second one fell. A plane had taken that one down, too. But when I witnessed the first one collapse, something didn't seem right. My conscious, or my reason, was telling me something. When those towers were built, didn't they think of that? And the way they collapsed made it seem like the towers were awfully weak. Unfortunately, I didn't have the technical knowledge I do now. Now it makes sense. Now I understand what was out of place. The buildings were demolished, and eventually a lot of the evidence of explosions in the buildings before they fell was covered up. If the towers were demolished, this brings up a whole bunch of new and terrifying questions, the most important being, WHO WOULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS?

I have been in the financial business since the early 1980's. I have seen first hand what a disaster blowing up the Trade Center had done to the financial markets. When 9/11 happened the stock market was setting on ledge and very close to collapsing. 9/11 went ahead and pushed it off the ledge and many people loss 50 to 80 percent of their stock portfolios. Buildings don't collapse like the towers unless brought down with explosive. Govt. story just doesn't measure up regarding the pentagon and the undamaged building that collapsed. The guarded stance and refusal to answer important questions, missing CCTV footage and fast disposal of debris before any in depth examination all points to the actions of a guilty party.
