PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I worked on the Standard Oil Building design team at Perkins and Will Partnership (1972-74), when it topped out as the tallest building in the world. That was just weeks before Yamaski's Detroit design team's 1st World Trade Center tower topped out and beat us for that record. Our Chicago team was joint ventured with the NYC-based building design firm Edward Durrell Stone. Each tower design team had been following the work of the other for several years. Many of us became friends and associates. I reviewed and studied the 911 FEMA structural analysis report of the New York City and Pentagon incidents when it was published and noted hundreds of discrepancies and apparently deliberate omissions. I worked on several major project designs for over a decade with the Seattle-based structural design firm that designed the World Trade Center towers. I was intimately familiar with the structural characteristics of the WTC towers. They were quite obviously deliberately demolished internally by high-temperature explosives placed by professional demolition experts at hundreds of key structural joints. There is no other way those buildings could collapse within their own footprints as they did.
This was a deliberate act on the part of those who already had all the access to the WTC site that they required; they used the airliner attacks as a diversion. Apparently they were aware of the planned air attacks and used that knowledge to their internal American political strategic advantage. The Neocons?

How is it possible that material gets blasted out of the building so far if fire is the cause of the collapse? Why was there such a high temperature at the base of the building several days after 9/11? Why could comparable buildings resist fire over more time an did not collapse?

The official version never made sense to me. I anticipated that explosives would have been required just by hearing a description of the collapse on 9/11/2001. Quick calculations I made based on conservation of momentum trying to convince people the official explanation was false gave a 120 second collapse time for a gravitational collapse & 35mph to 60 mph lateral mass ejections which are not possible if only gravity driven. Newton's 3rd Law required the complete destruction of the falling top of the towers that should have left 60 stories of intact buildings standing after a gravitational collapse ended. Energy available from a gravitational collapse was insufficient to explain all features of the actual collapse. Core columns could be seen disintegrating in sections after the collapses ended. Steel frame buildings, by design and properties of materials, could not fail from oxygen-starved hydrocarbon fires. The buildings were designed to withstand airplane collisions of the 757/767 class and had withstood natural forces far greater over the life of the buildings. In short, I'm an engineer and understand the laws of physics and the official explanation violated at least 1/2 dozen of them.

It is an absolute scientific certainty that the Twin Towers and WTC7 were destroyed by energetic material (i.e. explosives) in a controlled demolition: all three buildings came down at nearly free fall acceleration, meaning that the gravitational potential energy from the weight of the buildings was entirely converted in kinetic energy. So the energy that pulverised all the concrete and cut all the steel beams and columns in mid-air necessarily had to come from something else. Only explosives can release that much energy in such a short time. Furthermore, the unnatural symmetry of the collapses requires a very accurate timing => it was a controlled demolition.

I know that what happened in New York on September 11th, 2001 was a carefully orchestrated conspiracy. I know most of the so-called proof is just blown out of proportion, but the kind of evidence advocated by this website is real. The degree of destruction that the Twin Towers suffered can not be explained by anything but the use of explosives. If our government denies the truth that they surely must see, then let that be the only proof that you need to understand. The USG will not stop using any and all means to hide truth and perpetuate lies, as the preservation of American beliefs has been lost already. I'm not saying politicians placed explosives themselves, but I will say anybody who helps those responsible avoid their justice is clearly an accomplice at best. However, the many conversations in which our politicians refuse to speak when confronted by the truth greatly deters the use of evidence and truth. It is impossible that all three buildings fell in the manner in which they did based on the reasons stated in the 911 Commission's Report. There is also new evidence of thermite found in the WTC dust. Anyone with even the most average of intelligence knows that there is something very wrong with the official 911 Commission's Report. well, I found it strange that the buildings collapsed on top of itself, millions of man hours have been put into these buildings to resist loads, wouldn't the buildings have toppled over and taken the least resistance path?, WTC 7 collapsed from a fire?, comparing this building to the building that was on fire in China that did not collapse is strange, the 3 structural steel buildings to have collapsed by fire in the history of the world are these 3 buildings as to spit in the face of our Engineers and the centuries of American Engineering, why Engineer anything if this can happen to any of our buildings?, another puzzling factor is how fast they moved the steel from the site to be melted down, they sent it to China, tracked the trucks, it is just steel, why keep track of it?

The official story is fundamentally flawed due to the fact that much of the physical evidence (the wreckage of the WTC) was both denied access to by independent investigators and literally removed and destroyed before any crucial analysis could have been implemented. After being hit, the World Trade Center towers demonstrated their resilience by staying in place. But after an hour they collapsed at free fall speed, from what we are told is a fire initiated collapse. The idea that an office fire could demolish over 100 floors of building is absurd. I have to wonder - how did all of the core columns become dismembered, and how was a free fall collapse possible? When I take all of the evidence into consideration, there is no way I could justify believing the official story. It just doesn't make sense.

I am a homeschool graduate living in Massachusetts. I became aware of the 9/11 truth movement in August 2009. Initially, I didn't accept the ideas I heard about the government knowing ahead of time, explosives planted inside the buildings, etc. But after careful research, I realized there were so many unanswered questions (like why Building 7 collapsed, which I only recently heard about). I acknowledge that I am a 9/11 truther, not a conspiracy theorist or terrorist. I have questions I want answered. It's my duty to inform others about this movement and defend those who believe 9/11 did not happen on its own.
My question is how the 3 buildings apparently collapsed straight down when the towers were mostly filled with smoke and there were no major fires at the time (as a firefighter said in the North Tower he was in just minutes before the collapse). Why have statements and interviews from firefighters and others on the scene been kept from the public? Why have communication recordings been kept private? We want answers. Many people label 9/11 truthers as terrorists or conspiracy theorists. When did it become wrong to ask questions the government doesn't want to answer? When did it become treasonous to think and ask something different from what people think happened? Unless the government provides clear answers about the true happenings on 9/11 this movement will continue to grow and proclaim the truth about what really happened.

I'm a student and I went to rent a movie where they were giving away your DVD. I watched it and decided to support your petition. Richard, you absolutely need to debate the fine sheep at Popular Mechanics with all the new evidence collected since 2006. Every time I speak of 9/11 requiring a new investigation people raise that absurd remark stating popular mechanics debunked the conspiracy, How do they keep a straight face? Great work going up against the demo expert! I was unaware that in a debate, if you have no answer for something, you can simply deny the existence of the evidence presented. You have to get on Mainstream television!
