On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Also, have done some engineering work, including building-forensic, some steel frame but mostly concrete. Was employed at Einhorn Yaffee Prescott for a while in Albany, NY and got to see the WTC first hand. Studied WTC's design, structure and construction at university. It was always a fascinating building complex to me.
Very hard to understand the 'complete' lack of concrete rubble in the debris field. Even had the basements filled with concrete topping slab debis. There should have been a stack of jumbled building elements about 9 more stories above grade. The core columns were fully welded yet none were longer than 40 ft (max trucking length). This event as portrayed by the NIST Report totally messes with my understanding of how buildings behave. I haven't been able to reconcile the promoted theory of collapse with the way I know buildings to behave.

I was 15 and my basic Physics class won't be until next year. I saw the 'live' coverage of the second plane hitting the tower. I thought it was a Hollywood film advert. Unfortunately, it was news. But I had a few questions, why didn't the plane get crumpled upon hitting the tower? Why did the towers collapse? Must have been tons of jet fuel to melt steel. For the rest of the year, I followed the crowd- hate the Muslims. And I went on to my boring life for another dozen of years not paying much attention to 9/11. But two years ago, my partner showed me pictures at ground zero. He asked me 'What do you think of this? That rekindled a fire I long strayed away from. If it collapsed because of weight of debris as they say, there would be no straight line. Like a can of soda smashed from the top. And oh, what happened to the resistance of the bottom floors so that it collapsed at free fall? So it began. My 'obsession' as I call it. Breadcrumbs after breadcrumbs. Now armed with engineering knowledge and after the dust of emotion settled, I see things clearly now.

He inferred that the plane that was brought down in Penn by those heroic passengers was indeed headed for the White House. I guess that his statement is possible, yet, unprovable. The problem is the confidence in the delivery of his statement, like he knew the plane was going to, or should have, crashed in the White House. That was the instant I started looking for the truth. I admire your courage in your Truth movement and I support it because I truly believe your scientific analysis to be correct and logical. The official story IS the conspiracy. Not to point the finger, but with very minimal research, anyone can deduce who is really responsible for this incident, in fact, I believe most people know the truth but will not pursue it in fear of personal reprisals. The evidence is overwhelming and it would be illogical to assume the official story to be true. All the evidence in the world will not change the official story though, because the officials who publish said explanation have very good reasons not to. This is why I think your request for another independent inquest to be futile, the powers that be don't care what you think...as long as they can control the masses, and they do. When your latest press conference went live on the internet, there were a little over 200 viewers...this will never get the word out...you have to do better at promoting your views if you're going to make any kind of impact. More people care about the sexual exploits of Tiger Woods and Paris Hilton, by a factor or ratio of a million for every 911 truther. If you want to get the truth out, you can't resort to conventional media, they have been silenced. Your best hope for getting the truth out is the use of unconventional marketing strategies like guerilla marketing (Golden Palace online casino's use of streakers) and other strategies. Word-of-mouth is also the best and most effective way to convince someone to trust your perspective, you need to have more public hearings, town halls, demonstrations, etc. But before you do ANY of that, you should consider why this is all happening. Ask yourself, why now? What did they achieve on 911? If you still can't connect the dots, I recommend you study the significance of Dr. Marion King Hubbert's Peak Oil Theory and relate this with Noam Chomsky's latest book titled Hegemony of Survival : America's Quest for Global Dominance. Hubbert and Chomsky portray the reason for 911's occurance..they also foretell the impending crisis that will ensue...in my honest opinion, 9/11 is a joke compared to what's coming. No disrespect to the victims, but many, many more will die to protect the American way of life..what your politicians were elected to do.

I am a fiscally conservative registered Republican. I have worked in the energy/industrial business sector for over 20 years primarily in technical sales. I have stood shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of architects and engineers some of which hold my beliefs, but are afraid to come forward. Over my career I have been involved in everything from plant design, procurement, engineering planning, detailed engineering, construction, start-up, and operations & maintenance of commercial fossil and nuclear power facilities. Having worked closely with multi-disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, process) on a range of project scopes, (including structural projects) you develop an engineering intuition supported by years of experience. Anyone who has gained this intuition over time and reviews independent evidence available should immediately understand why the official story is utter and complete nonsense and unfortunately the most dangerous cover up the world has every witnessed. During the attacks on the morning of 9/11 I was in flight from Baltimore to Cleveland OH for an engineering business meeting. For many years I believed the official government /main stream story never talking the time from my busy schedule to review alternative presentations and theories. BY chance I saw the documentary Loose Change and then 9/11 Blueprint for Truth. It only took several hours of reviewing white papers by Steven Jones and others to see the unmistakable truth and mainstream cover up.
Regardless of your politics or your technical background, anyone who carefully considers the forensic data that is publicly available, combined with all the circumstantial evidence would at least call for a new independent public investigation. At a minimum there has been an obvious and continuous cover up of information both pre and post 9/11. For me there is no question that the official story is made up and full of critical holes that remain unanswered to this day. What the real story is time will tell because secrets are not kept forever. When I saw the footage of the collapse of the towers on the news later in the evening of 9/11, I was sitting with a colleague of mine and we both said, almost simultaneously, that looks like a controlled demolition. Dan Rather repeated something similar to what we had just said later in his report. That struck both of us as odd. I had an overwhelming intuitive feeling that this was true. I put it out of my mind for 2-3 years but have had a continuous nagging feeling in the pit of my stomach that something was out of joint, to put it lightly. For the last several years, I have looked at hours of footage, read and researched it, and that feeling has refused to leave. The official reports strike me as false. The feeling that much has been left out, glossed over, explained away, and outright ignored, has never escaped me. I do not, for one second, believe that the planes themselves could have done all of that. Building 7 is the one that really gets me. One does not need to be an architect or engineer to notice that this building was, with a good degree of certainty, brought down by controlled demolition - something that would have taken days to set up. This screams for a thorough investigation, and I'm happy that people are actively pursuing this. It is of the utmost importance that the American people know the real truth about what actually happened that day.

I have combed through available evidence and have determined that these three collapses were the result of planned detonations, the type used by experts to bring down buildings into their own footprint. When I read and listen to those who say the buildings came down as a result of fire or some reason other than than detonation, those stories leave out known key evidence to make their case, which makes those stories weak. As part of my degree in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs we had to read the entire 9/11 Commission Report and there was much to question as to factual evidence of what he report. This began my search for the truth.
There is an incredible lack of evidence to support the 9/11 Commission Report's reasoning on the collapses. Furthermore many of the commissioner's of the report stated publicly that they did not embrace the reports findings.

I am a tattoo artist/ painter. I am a history buff when it comes to American history. I feel it is my responsibility as an artist to be awake and aware of the most pressing issues facing us today in America.
The building collapses are just the tip of the iceberg for me. The witnesses at the pentagon and in shanksville add a whole different layer to 911. I currently live in Northern VA and work for an accounting firm in the tax department. I graduated in 2005 from James Madison University and was in my Freshman year when the Towers were hit.
I watched 'Loose Change 9/11: An American Coup' and was fascinated and overwhelmed by all the evidence indicating that an explosion happened at the Twin Towers that day. I think it is important that we get down to the truth of what actually happened that day. We cannot learn from the past if we have the facts of the past incorrect.

An independent research and investigation must be done regarding the entire 9/11 report and the demolition of all three buildings. Too much has been hidden and not disclosed. Surely each floor of the world trade center should have been slowed down by at least a second as it crashed onto the next floor.110 floors times 1 second is 110 seconds,yet the buildings collapsed in under ten seconds.The material under each floor level had to be blown away so that each succeeding floor could fall at close to free-fall speed.Besides the fact that a half million tons of concrete turned into dust.That doesn't happen to concrete falling onto itself but does happen to concrete that is exploded.The 911 commission report doesn't even come close to the truth of what happened and is as credible as was the warren commission report on the Kennedy assassination.

I attended Rochester Institute of Technology for 1 year studying Computer Engineering Technology. I had to quit school for financial reasons. I have taken pre-engineering and physics classes in high school, but other than that I have no professional experience. I am however very interested in physics and do a lot of independent study.
I did not pay any attention to the claims of the 9/11 conspiracy theories until November of 2009, for the main reason that the mainstream media had drilled it into my head that terrorists were behind the entire thing. After a friend had shown me a documentary, I started doing my own research and came to many harsh realizations about what happened on that day. I want to know the full story of what really happened on that day and not the same old, obviously false story, that the mainstream media tries to tell us. It is very obvious that the towers fall at near free fall speeds while falling through the rest of the building, or the path of most resistance. It is physically impossible to fall that fast, with that much resistance.

I have wondered for years how the building could have come down as they did. It seems that common sense would lead people away from the public statements and responses to how (and then why).
