PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The speed at which the buildings fell implied that the central cores provided virtually no vertical resistance at any point during the collapses. When the live television commenter stated that there must have been tons of explosives on site to cause such a collapse, i found myself in agreement and assumed it would all come out during the investigation. Combined with the reports of molten metal, inexplicably high temperatures recorded even by satellite, rapid removal and destruction of the structural evidence, the finding of tiny fragments of human bone thrown laterally from the structures, the missing pentagon trillions on 9/10; I am very concerned about the kind of world we are leaving to the next generations. 9/11 and the ensuing cover up is a big part of that concern.

I've worked for an engineering consulting firm called TRC out of its Franklin, Massachusetts office since graduation, performing engineering services for power utilities. World Trade Center 7 was never hit by a plane, had only minimal damage, and collapsed into its own footprint in a demolition style collapse. The twin towers also collapsed into their own footprint in a way that can be explained by controlled demolition.

I began having doubts about the official explanations for the collapse of the WTC towers soon after the explanations surfaced. The gnawing question that lingers in my mind is: how did the structures collapse in near-symmetrical fashion when the apparent precipitating causes were asymmetrical loading? The collapses defy common logic from an elementary structural engineering perspective. If you accept the argument that the fire protection covering was damaged to such an extent that structural members in the vicinity of the aircraft impacts were exposed to abnormally high temperatures, and if you accept the argument that the temperatures were high enough to weaken the structural framing, that still does not explain the relatively concentric nature of the failures.Neither of the official precipitating sources for the collapses, namely the burning aircraft, were centered within the floor plan of either tower; both aircraft were off-center when they finally came to rest within the respective buildings. This means that, given the foregoing assumptions, heating and weakening of the structural framing would have been constrained to the immediate vicinity of the burning aircraft. Heat transmission (diffusion) through the steel members would have been irregular owing to differing sizes of the individual members; the temperature in the members would have dropped off precipitously the further away the steel was from the flames'''just as the handle on a frying pan doesn''t get hot at the same rate as the pan on the burner of the stove. These factors would have resulted in the structural framing furthest from the flames remaining intact and possessing its full structural integrity, i.e., strength and stiffness.Structural steel is highly ductile; when subjected to compression and bending it buckles and bends long before reaching its tensile or shear capacity. Under the given assumptions, if the structure in the vicinity of either burning aircraft started to weaken, the superstructure above would begin to lean in the direction of the burning side. The opposite, intact, side of the building would resist toppling until the ultimate capacity of the structure was reached, at which point, a weak-link failure would undoubtedly occur. Nevertheless, the ultimate failure mode would have been a toppling of the upper floors to one side, much like the topping of a tall redwood tree, not a concentric, vertical collapse.For this reason alone, I rejected the official explanation for the collapse of the WTC towers out of hand. Subsequent evidence supporting controlled, explosive demolition of the two buildings is more in keeping with the observed collapse modalities and only serves to validate my initial misgivings as to the causes for the structural failures.

I watched everything that happened, including the bringing down of World Trade Center 7. This matter could be settled by simply reshowing that event as it happened with either of news anchors Peter Jennings, Dan Rather or Tom Brokaw. They reported beginning around 2:00 PM that the building was unstable and in danger of collapsing. They then reported that a decision might have to be made as to whether the building would have to be brought down for reasons of safety. Finally, at 5:00 PM, they announced the decision to bring the building had been made and twenty minutes later the cameras focused on the building as it was brought down uneventfully and without any surprise. Just show the old video tapes beginning at 2:00 PM and watch the event as it unfolded!

I believe that if Congress has nothing to hide, then there is no harm in them carrying out an investigation as petitioned, particularly when there is substantial evidence to question the official story of what actually occurred. It has been far too long since the events occurred, for no independent investigation to be thoroughly carried out. The potential for secrecy and conspiracy is too great in such a situation.

I remember exactly where I was when I heard about the attacks. I was on a job site, doing a high end foundation in Horseshoe Valley, outside of Barrie. A man walked up to us with his daughter in his arms and told us someone had just flown a plane into the World Trade Center. My first thought was, Holy shit. Here comes WW3. . . .but as the day passed and my thoughts turned to George Bush and the neo-cons, another thought occurred to me . . . .they did this. I remember telling my dad a few months later that an attack on American soil was the perfect excuse to implement a neo-conservative agenda. He couldn't accept that such a thing could happen. I even questioned my own intuitions and then the stories started to come in . . . . no evidence of a plane hitting the Pentagon (destruction too small) . . . . video of explosives going off on each floor of the WTC and residue of a chemical that is not found in jet fuel and is capable of turning the metal frame of the WTC to molten metal. Not only did the attack scare Americans into giving up the sacred right to privacy but it also was the catalist for the highly unpopular Iraq war which made many in the Bush gang even more ridiculously rich while putting America in the poor house. Yes there should be a truly independent investigation. We have established a motive . . .in this murder trial.

I have read widely on 911. Two amazing buildings like the twin towers hit by planes at different times and at entirely different positions do NOT fall down exactly alike at very similar times like they did without help period. The proposals that thermite placed on a beam and explosives near or on the other side seems to me lends the most credibility.

I a convinced the official theory is not the real one. Concerning the WTC, we all saw the building collapsing in a strange way. It seems to be a controlled demolition. Especially concerning the WTC 7: first, an official said we have to collapse this building for security reasons, but in a second time, the officials said the building just went down...Strange isn't it? Concerning the main towers, twin towers, such building NEVER fell down after burning, even under intense fire during several hours... the Twins towers fell down after only 1 hour burning!! Everybody present that day said they heard many explosions, like bombs, and it was different from the noise of the falling bodies, people cought by the fire in the upper stairs... How can we believe that such building would collapse in a few minutes? People present that day, especially firefighters and policemen, all heard explosions in the lower levels, and even saw the first floor collapse due to something like bombing.

I have no experience in civil engineering however being a CGI artist for many years now i have come to study alot of buildings crashes, controlled demolition or otherwise (for simulation purposes or else). and have seen enough visual content to be able to differentiate between 'Controlled demolition' and 'building crashes, fires' etc, whilst i may not be the best at analyzing this in the way an architect or engineer would, i can certainly say in cases like these a trained eye generally doesn't lie, and in my opinion this was definitely a controlled demolition.
As i stated above, the collapse of the buildings was just wrong, it is not what i would expect from an aircraft crashing into a building or a fire. i think anybody willing to have an open mind and look at the evidence available will realize what many of us believe; we are being lied to. 9/11 was an inside job no doubt about it.

I was working and saw the buildings collapse. I remember how surreal it looked when all three fell straight to the ground. When I still look at the video footage available today, it looks surreal. I guess that I just want answers. I want to be able to see any evidence that was confiscated. I feel that as a voting citizen, how can I know what I'm voting for if there is privileged information that someone knows and I don't. In our country, I believe that it's innocent until proven guilty, but also that all known and available evidence of an act or event is brought before the judge and jury. I believe that the people of the United States have the right to know all the workings and actions or our elected government.

Retired structural iron worker I am 87 years of age. I worked on high rise buildings most of my life. I have worked as a riveter, welder and a construction foreman from Alaska to California but mainly in Seattle and the San Francisco Ca. area.
There is no way that I can see from my line of work that a skyscraper could collapse completely like that.. I did watch a short video about 9/14/01 that shows several puffs of smoke that looked like they came from explosions below the location of the airline crashes. What happened to that video?

I'm now interested in the proofs of 911 A&E Truth Projects which show conclusive scientific evidence that the World Trade towers and WTC Building #7 were brought down by planned demolition. A&E have proven that the evidence provides a different account than what we have heard from our biased news media and our own Government. There should be an Independent Counselor and Grand Jury Investigation and compare the facts and evidence to find the perpetrators responsible for this terrorist or tyrannical acts.

I have read one book and watched at least 5 excellent documentaries regarding the events of 9/11/2001. The official story does not stand up to scrutiny. As the attacks were subsequently used to perpetrate grotesque violence on innocent people and to take away freedoms, it is of the utmost importance to re-open the investigation.

I don't buy a lot of the conspiracy stories regarding 9/11, even though I have my doubts as to what actually happened and who was really behind the attacks. However, even an untrained eye like mine can tell that the undamaged building 7 was brought down in a controlled manner.

The physical evidence clearly indicates that the official explanation provided by NIST is incorrect. A real investigation is needed, as well as a campaign of mass public awareness to as a check on that investigation.

I have worked for my self most of my adult life and was born in Bayshore LI NY . I am a common sense person . I designed and built my own home all phases of it . I moved to Florida in 93 .
Like many I believed the official story but woke up to the truth on 911 about 4 years ago . There is no dought in my mind that the towers were brought down with demolition . This will be a very hard push given the amount of stone walling by the Gov ,industrial complex and the large corporations. Where are the bodies, and bolder's,if pancake wheres the spindal/core and what happen to the pile driver? what about history , there is none . Lots of firsts here and what about the black boxes? The pentagon, that place is loaded with cameras and yet they were more interested in the ones across the street and how did they know about them so fast unless it was planed out ahead of time , I could go on here but its a no brainer. What I would give to have the real footage of what happened that day , then again somebody's got it out there some where after all Bush claimed to have seen the first plane hit on 911 even though the only footage did not surface until two days later.
