To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I'm a design mechanical engineer working with steel and other materials. My designs are of dynamic (moving) mechanisms meant to work in the real world and, as such, must follow the laws of the physics of moving bodies. My work involves fabrication of mechanisms and other parts often made by heating and gas welding mild steel and 4130 (chrom-moly) steel.
The collapse of any of the three WTC towers that fell on 9/11/2001 in NYC could not have happened as quickly as they did or as neatly as they did, straight down into their own footprint if gravity provided the only collapse energy. This means that the conclusions drawn by the US government and NIST are incorrect. The event is critically important, perhaps the most important event in US recent history. We must get this right.

I have a Masters degree, Cum Laude, in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. I was also accepted into the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society. I recently reviewed much of the documentation that AE911truth has supplied and also other sources. My conclusion, based on my engineering experience and intuition, is that structures that are struck in a random nature do not respond with the type of symmetry we see in the WTC towers collapse. In fact, if one were hypothetically tasked to collapse these towers as symmetrically as they fell, it would be nearly impossible, at least for someone without expertise in demolition or other advanced techniques.

When 9/11 happened, I was attending Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, CO. I remember my physics teacher at the time commented on the impossibility of skyscrapers collapsing due to those plane crashes. The official story we've been given doesn't align with basic physics. I believe that this event is crucial in understanding what's going on, and what has been going on, both domestically here in the United States, but also geo-politically. The 'How' is easily sussed out by fellow engineers, especially structural and civil engineers, so the next two questions we need to be asking ourselves are 'Who?' and 'Why?', and it's my contention that these last two are inextricably linked, i.e. 9/11 was part of an overarching agenda that spans not only the Western world, but the entire globe. Basically, once you understand the 'Who', you'll understand 'Why'. So many have died, including those 3000 innocent souls, as a result of this most egregious terrorist attack. It was trauma on a macroscopic scale. When a person's mind is in that traumatic state of suspension, it is much more susceptible to the various suggestion and/or injunction delivered by the mainstream media who are either (a)complicit in this cover-up or (b)completely ignorant. I for one have more faith in the average human being's intelligence so have to, unfortunately, side with the former.

We both said incredulously ""that looks planned, like those skyscraper demolitions."" Then my father asked me if, from an engineering perspective, if it looked normal. I explained that I was hardly an expert at structural engineering but from what I had already learned, it seemed unlikely that those building would fall completely down. I could have believed that the parts of each building above the impact point would shear off of the structure, but for the entire building to implode was, even on that hectic morning, far too much to swallow."

After seeing the lecture and video by Richard Gage on the ae911Truth.org website , I don't think any reasonable, rational person could come away without the conviction that all three World Trade Center buildings were brought down by controlled demolition on September 11, 2001, and that it had to be an inside job. For me, the most important thing is for these facts to be broadly exposed so that the American people and the people of the world will force an end to the never-ending war on terrorism. Alistair Cook called the commercial airliners slamming into the World Trade Center buildings a declaration of war.
