To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

When considering the yield point of A36 steel and the redundancy factors included in all 21st century buildings, these buildings could not have been collapsed by an airplane of any kind. This was obvious to me at the time I saw the collapse on television. When the first building came down I told my wife that 'airplanes can not make that happen.'

The engineering school at the University of Toronto awards B.A.Sc. degrees and M.A.Sc. degrees. I received the first in 1957 and the second a few years later. I've worked in mining exploration for 40 years. Throughout my active career, I maintained a membership in one or another of the Provincial Engineering Associations. At age 65, I was made a Life Member of The Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta.
In addition to the demolition of the towers, I'm most interested in the apparent non-airline attack on Pentagon. Overlaying the plan of the plane it becomes obvious that the starboard engine and wingtip would strike the wall at the same instant as the nosecone, yet there was no mark on the wall. The engine weighed 12 tons and was more likely than the nosecone to penetrate the outer wall. A diagram with the two superimposed might be the most conclusive to the general public.

After acquiring my BS EE, I began my career in airborne flight test instrumentation design and systems development at Douglas Aircraft Company. I subsequently worked as a civilian employee of the US Air Force at the Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards AFB, CA. In addition to standard flight test measurement technology, I designed and project managed the developed physiological sensors and electronics for use on the test pilots, incuding time-of-flight mass spectrometer measurement for full pressure suit gases.
The number of people who died or suffered as a direct result of 9/11, is serious enough, but the death and destruction in Iraq and Afghanistan, estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands, demands some justice for the perpetrators. With respect to the future welfare of our children and grand children, the in-your-face destruction of our nation since 9/11 is a major concern. We are at great risk of losing our free society if we do not get active to prevent the loss.

I graduated with a BA in Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa in May, 2007. The last year and a half of my time there I worked in a student research position for the Operator Performance Laboratory. I served as a flight test engineer for human factors evaluation of avionics and I assisted in the design, implementation, and integration of instrumentation for human factors evaluation and testing of ground transportation.
The moment I watched a 10 minute video about WTC 7 on Easter Day of 2006, I knew the official story was a lie, and I am ashamed that I didn't realize it sooner. I don't know what really happened on 9/11, but one thing I do know is that it is impossible for 2 airplanes to cause the complete and total destruction of 3 steel buildings, comprising 250+ stories, at free-fall speed.

Roi Vaara is one of the most internationally recognized performance artist from Scandinavia. He was born in Moss, Norway 1953 form Finnish parents. He studied in the University of Art and Design, in Helsinki 1972-75 and in Jyv'skyl' University1976-77. Since 1988, Vaara has performed in artists' collective Black Market International. From time time I've encountered challenging information about the events of 9/11. I talk about information which doesn't fit to the official story. I talk about information which has been neglected in the official story. I talk about facts that many eye witnesses and scientists have pointed out. I talk about facts that will better explain how the buildings collapsed. A new research must be done on the scientific ground. All the facts that the official story has been unacceptable to explain must be taken on account. The real explanation must fit to evidence of facts.

It appears the World Trade Tower buildings fell in a manner impossible without additional assistance in the destruction of the core of the structures. The denial evident in the discussion of the the three towers' collapse along with the mind boggling explanation for the Pentagon explosion, can only invite skepticism and foster cynicism if not contempt.

I am just one more citizen who is not satisfied by the official 9/11 Report, especially the lack of answers to many, many troubling questions.
I don't know who is responsible for the destruction on 9/11, but I doubt the official story about what did cause the destruction, and want a new and unbiased investigation into the matter. This is the patriotic thing to do.

I am a SAHM who home schools 3 children. My husband is a contractor in Afghanistan at Bagram Air Base. I gave up my career as a Paralegal to be able to give my children a real education and teach them to think for themselves, and how to learn without someone holding their hand every step of the way.
I was a Paralegal at the DA's office the day of 9/11. The entire office shut down after the first plane hit and we just stayed in the conference room all day watching the TV. When the first building started to fall my first thought was: That looks like a demolition! Then the second building fell and I thought it again. When the 3rd building fell without being hit I said there is no way that wasn't controlled... why did it fall too? I never believed the official story. I may not know the entire truth about what happened that day, but I know when I'm being lied to.

I remember being very young and wanting to become a part of the C.I.A. or F.B.I. with the intention of working my way up and somehow exposing them from the inside. I have no idea where this thought originated, perhaps my mother. I always loved technology. As a kid my first major purchase was a computer. It had a 6502 processor and 4k of RAM. (upgradeable to 8k). I had visions of combining video imagery and computer graphics. Many years later I actually found the means to merge graphics with video. While studying graphic design at California College of the Arts I discovered agitprop, which appealed to my subversive nature. This, combined with the focus on technology of the C.C.A. Media Arts department, I found a direction for my art practice I could be passionate about.
I have a hard time believing that the buildings were brought down by planes.

My only education concerning what's relevant here is self-education. Likewise, I have no experience in the mentioned fields of architecture and engineering other than a large amount of reading about the subject. It is obvious to me from the testimonies of the earliest witnesses concerning a multitude of massive explosions, the obvious evidence of squibs, the rate of collapse of the buildings, the physical impossibility of the temperatures of the fires reaching a level capable of causing a physical change in the steel beams, the pattern in which the buildings fell, and the incontrovertible fact that no building reinforced by steel beams has ever collapsed due to the cause of fire in the recorded history of man until Tuesday, September 11, 2001, that it is impossible that these buildings collapsed due to the official story.

I have no professional opinion on the collapse - its obviously well beyond the scope of my expertise - but I have an intuitive sense of gravity and of concocted rationalizations, and I have a deep and growing suspicion of whatever and however that the officials tried to explain what happened.
Whatever really happened, the one thing I DO know is that the suspicions generated by the clumsy government cover-up (the official 911 commission report) are doing profound damage to the fabric of our nation. If the people do not and can not trust their leaders in the most profound sense and on such critical issues, then democracy itself cannot stand. The truth, and a serious investigation of this matter, is profoundly important in order to at least begin to regain and rebuild any sense of national cohesiveness. Without it thoughtful people have no choice but to conclude our nation is run by treasonous actors and their supporters and the very existence of that kind of cynicism will more surely destroy our country than any foreign armies ever will.
