PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I recently reviewed much of the documentation that AE911truth has supplied and also other sources. My conclusion, based on my engineering experience and intuition, is that structures that are struck in a random nature do not respond with the type of symmetry we see in the WTC towers collapse. In fact, if one were hypothetically tasked to collapse these towers as symmetrically as they fell, it would be nearly impossible, at least for someone without expertise in demolition or other advanced techniques.

My area of study was civil engineering, more specifically structural engineering.
Based on the facts that all three structures collapsed symmetrically as well as the chemical evidence of explosive material found in the dust/debris from the site, I believe the structures were destroyed by controlled demolition, not impact loads/explosions/fires caused by the airplanes. Also, the steel frame surrounding the impact zones would have deformed slowly after the initial impacts due to the ductility of the structural steel. This would have resulted in a localized failure at the weak points(where planes hit) and toppling of the structures through the path of least resistance. WTC 7 was the mayors shelter and it collapsed at free fall acceleration for about 2.25 seconds into its own footprint with no plane impact. This indicates that all of the potential energy was converted directly into kinetic energy with no additional energy available to destroy the steel frame and concrete floor decks of the structure. Free fall acceleration is impossible without the use of explosives to remove the numerous columns, beams. and connections simultaneously!

I have collaborated with a research chemical engineer( P.E. in CA also) and he has worked with NIST reports that positively show that the jet fuel contributed very little to the duration of the fires and that in fact all the fires were very weak in historical perspective. They were oxygen starved as evidenced by the black smoke. If you dig deeper into the NIST reports they confirm that steel temperatures were low. I presented for continuing education credits at the NFPA World Safety Conference in Boston, MA 6/4/2007 My presentation showed that all three WTC collapses have no resemblance to any previous high rise fire, full scale fire tests in the UK involving much higher steel temperatures, or computer simulations using finite element analysis.

Having spent the majority of my life working with the mechanics and physics of motion, I believe the near free-fall collapse of parts of WTC towers 1 and 2 could only be accomplished by somehow turning the majority of both structures to fine dust and truck trailer sized pieces of steel through the application of energy that was in excess of what would have potentially been available due only to height and gravity. In addition, the collapse of building 7 appears to be a classic example of controlled demolition.

After seeing several news clips of the Twin Towers crashing, I believe that they could not have colapsed so neatly as they did with out being professionally demolished. There seems to be evidence that some governmental officials may have known in advance of the attacks. I do not believe that those who investigated the attacks were truthful in what they reported as thier findings. It should be re-investigated by profassionals not governmental officials who will not tell the truth.

If an office fire is all that is required to cause a building to collapse in a demolition style into its own footprint as in the case of WTC7, then why would anyone want to use a demolition company to bring down a building, especially since they are expensive and require weeks of precision prep work and placement of charges? Also, if the official story of WTC7 is true, then why didn't the office building in Austin fall the same way as WTC7 after it was hit by an airplane on February 18, 2010? How many other buildings have collapsed demolition style by office fires?

I am not an architect nor engineer. I have nine years of university and college education in business, computer sciences and social services/health care. I worked for the Airlines for ten years; three years in the Control Center in Atlanta. One of my jobs was to aid the FAA in preparation for possible emergencies from in range calls that might involve jet fuel needing to be contained. We might have dispatched two to three fire trucks and foamed the runway... but I never witnessed even a small aircraft being CONSUMED by its own jet fuel, much less overcome the foam or the emergency vehicles by the jet fuel fire.
On day one, the first comment I made to family was when building number seven came down, looking exactly like a demolition... how did that incredibly powerful jet fuel get into building number seven, making that fire hot enough to create that PERFECT demolition? How does a fire, hot enough to disintegrate planes and turn buildings into molten metal, not burn passports? How does a fire in the upper floors of a building cause explosions in the basement (testimony of fire rescue professionals on tape) and melt the support beams of the lower floors.

I too have doubts about the official story of the collapse of the buildings. Following the 9/11 Truth organizations has made me move convinced that we need to know the truth about September 11, 2001. Anyone who does not grasp that the free fall into its own footprint was a demolition does not understand basic physics. It was demolished.
