To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Only: And then the towers collapsed as the videos show ... Incredible! And even more when I discovered the case of WTC 7... I wrote a report (33 pages) which I entitled Indecent Proposal - Reopen 9 / 11 Report. I sent this document to my contacts, friends, family, etc... I was and now I am even more convinced that the official story is a lie. But I wanted to understand the why. I then continued my reading and my investigation: R. Heinberg - Mr. Chossudovsky - etc. And also the movie Oil Smoke & Mirrors. To find the last missing piece of the puzzle: the geopolitics of energy. I just finished the last book of D. The structural members would normally resist the forces of the floors above UNLESS they were destroyed by means far greater than heat produced by burning jet fuel. Structural collapses are typically slow to start and are not as uniform as collapses resulting from controlled detonations, which is likely the cause of these collapses.

The official explanation of the collapse of the twin towers and building 7 overlooks key evidence that absolutely should be incorporated into the investigation. The fact that building 7, with limited office fires in a relatively small portion of the building, collapsed instantaneously and symmetrically at the acceleration of gravity with almost no resistance at all from the concrete and steel below is alone bizarre enough to warrant further investigation. The investigation should be about truth and nothing else.

As documented by this group, never in the history of steel framed skyscrapers since 1908 has a single one of them failed from fire damage, other than the supposed fire imposed collapse of WTC 1, 2, and 7. A number of researchers have well documented horrific fires in steel buildings, none of which failed and all were reconditioned and still in use. It was patently obvious as I watched the original footage from Vienna, Austria that these were commercial implosions. Building Seven housed CIA and other federal agencies, all of which would have had to have known and approved of plans and capability to implode the buildings months in advance. The America public deserves to know the truth.

This is marked required, but I do not understand why, as I have NO background in architecture nor engineering. I am a simple 63 year old woman with a BS in Educ 1965 (Major in English). I continually search for truth because that is the only way to obtain peace.
After reading Dr. Griffin's book on WTC 7 and reading several of his articles plus articles by experts (architects, engineers, physicists) and watching four different videos related to 9-11, there is no doubt in my mind that the buildings collapsed as the result of controlled demolitions. Only high power sophisticated explosive techniques could cause heavy metals to fly through the air and land with force on other buildings. Only by the use of thermate and/or superthermite (nanothermite) could the massive steel columns be melted and create a flow of molten steel. Also, the FACT that fire alone has NEVER caused any other building to fall at free-fall speed and turn into a tidy pile of debris must be considered if validity is to be a factor in the evaluation.

I am not a scientist, but I like to think that I know steel. I don't believe for a minute that a kerosene based fuel is going to weaken any of the WTC buildings. I also know that an aluminum, steel and titanium plane is not going to incinerate in the Pentagon.
