PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I concluded early on that the official explanation, even before the 9/11 Commission report, did not add up. The first couple of items that I found suspicious were 1) the pulverizing of the concrete and 2) the free fall of the Towers in less than 10 seconds. Since 2001 I have read many books on the subject starting with Painful Questions by Eric Hufschmid, The New Pearl Harbor by David Ray Griffin (I saw him speak in Berkeley a year ago with Peter Phillips) and Towers of Deception by Barrie Zwicker the latter of which included the CD The Great Conspiracy. From the latter book I agreed with the author (and Richard Gage whom I heard on KPFA today) that there needs to be another, more thorough, investigation of the events of 9/11/2001. To add to my list of suspicious items, I saw a public showing of a CD, in 2004, where the focus was on experienced criminal investigators and how they were making the case about the rapid shipment of the steel from the Towers to India and China and that act was destroying evidence at the scene of a crime. I worked at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center from 2001-2005. I was amazed how otherwise very savvy physicists and engineers didn't want to entertain the thought, or evidence, that the official explanation did not add up. They willingly accept the official pancake theory. I have my own theory about their willingness to accept the official explanation. Several years ago I came across a term called cognitive dissonance. The psychological description goes like this: the term describes an uncomfortable mental tension that arises from results from having two (or more) conflicting thoughts at the same time i.e. The Towers falling was a bad, terrible event and My government is here to help me and they couldn't have had anything to do with the destruction of the Towers.

I think it's safe to say that most of the people in the Bush White house, as well as the leaders of NIST and the 9/11 Commision Report, are lying to us about what they know, or chose to not look into. I have seen lists of 15 items long of evidences of explosive, controlled demolition. For those guys to say they say NO evidence, and didn't even consider it an option, they are obviously lying. As I understand it, the three WTC buildings that collapsed are the only steel framed buildings that have ever completely collapsed , before or since 9/11. Further, the collapse of building 7 defies all logic and rational thought. Its fire was minimal and yet it fell at near free fall speed just as if it had been brought down by an intentional demolition.

I have found many questions about the collapse of the towers and think we need a new investigation because many of the events of that day do not fit the explanations from the institutes involved. In watching over and over again the broadcast coverage on and immediately after 911, the failure of the buildings looked exactly like several high-rise, professionally orchestrated demolitions I had viewed over the years preceding the event. I knew on the morning of 9/11/01, when watching the buildings free-fall without toppling, that demolition explosives were used to bring the two buildings down. I was incredulous that the official conspiracy theory would deny the professional demolition of buildings one and two. I did not learn about the demolition of building seven for another three months or more. What would serve America best would be transparency from government and good police work to expose the perpetrators of 9/11, even if it causes embarrassment to our allies and our own government. I met one of the firefighters who had been on the floor hit by the second plane. He had been injured and evacuated just before the collapse. He gave me the usual pre-Obama view of the US Government: no one who was part of the government would lie to us or do anything to hurt us, etc. And I said, Yes, but tell me what you saw. He said he saw a lot of dead bodies, lying there, not in the process of being immolated. He said that on the whole floor, there were only two fires, in separate locations. Although they were obviously too big to handle with the firefighters' backpack fire extinguishers, he said that if the water lines to the two fire hoses had been working, they could have put both fires out very quickly.

I have spent 13 years as a union-trained and educated electrician, and it amazes me that 3 buildings could collapse at free-fall speed, proportional to their size, because of fire. Steel needs a blast furnace to melt down and will not break down unless enough pure oxygen and high enough temperatures are added to it. So, according to physics, these three buildings should never have come down unless there is a missing link that has not been disclosed to the public.
Not possible without the use of explosives. Look at how much powdered concrete there is. Shouldn't that be evidence enough?

I am a commercial claims adjuster with fifteen years experience. With that experience comes the knowledge that jet fuel burns at 800 to 1500 F depending on ventilation, Steel melts at 2750F, while steel loses some structural integrity at lower temperatures, there has been no sober explanation of why the towers fell at free fall suddenly appearing to turn to dust before out eyes.
On the day of September 11, 2001 I was at my desk at a major commercial insurance carrier in Chicago. One of the largest exposures for our carrier prior to that day was a claim for asbestos removal, as the events of the day unfolded with vulgar horror before my eyes it became clear that that claim was closed. The claim was being work by a dear friend of mine who has since had a nervous breakdown due to the horror of the facts. A new one would be opened and as it turned out it would be paid at double indemnity. As myself and my coworkers watched the building fall it struck us immediately that they were controlled demolitions. We all saw the squibs and thought surely that others had as well. We as adjusters knew that jet fuel could not burn hot enough to melt steel as it is not much different than kerosene that is burned safely in steel heaters. I cannot think of this event without feeling sick to my stomach. The events of September 11th have never been truthfully publically been explained instead we have been fed lies and half truths and anybody who dared to speak up has been marginalized as a tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy nuts.
