PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Until recently I didn't question the government/media explanation for the collapse of the Twin Towers. I believe I may have heard in passing about the collapse of WTC 7, but probably dismissed it as being the result of damage from the collapse of the Twin Towers or something associated with some conspiracy theory. After taking a closer look at some of the evidence, it's clear that the official theory of gravity collapses caused by airplane impacts and fires in the three buildings on 9/11 is inconsistent with the physical laws of the universe and the properties of the materials in the three buildings and the airplanes. It's also clear that the government's investigations were inadequate.

The background of Robert Sogge is unique in that they include training, teaching, research and practical consulting in the specific area of soil-structure interaction. Specifically he has made significant contributions in the areas of anchored sheet piles, laterally loaded piles, reinforced mat foundations systems, and buried arch culverts. His thin-arch designs have been verified by full-scale HITEC tests on a 28 ft span structure. With partners he founded a design-build company to construct such structures.
As to the 'conspiracy' theory, I don't get into it ' instead, I look at the failure of just Bldg #7 that came down at 5:23 pm after only being hit by a small 40 ft by 40 ft section of steel beam. The building constructed of steel came tumbling down. I, as a designing Civil Engineer, would not want to design with such a material if that were the case. So it is said to have failed by 'progressive failure'. Where is the research, conferences and study on this topic. Where is AISC in defending their product as they always used to do in comparisons to concrete structures? Where are our professional groups like ASCE on this topic? I notice that ASCE sponsored a 'paper' on the Pentagon Bldg failure ' but the study was a joke in that concrete walls were replaced by columns in the analysis. When the Teton Dam failed in the late 70's, the cause of the failure was investigated. The failure generated much research and subsequent conferences on Hydraulic Fracturing ' the culprit. Thank you for finally creating a voice for those of us who would like to correct the facts for the public and preserve the profession we work in and love.

"What we have been told about 9/11 is a lie. Open fire doesn't melt steel nor does a building fall on it's own footprint at free fall acceleration unless it has been brought down by controlled demolition. To set this up requires days, months, perhaps years to prepare for, to set the explosives and so forth. This was a controlled demolition. Airplanes couldn't have taken these buildings down. You expect me to believe that at 5:20 PM long after the two towers came down in the morning of that same day by controlled demolition that another building (7) came down by the same method? There is no way by the laws of physics that it occurred the way we have been told. The truth about this issue has been totally ignored and has barely even gotten out. We cannot proceed with the facts of any ""news"" until we go back and get the truth out about this matter. Thanks."

Based upon the visual and empirical evidence presented, as well as the nature of the technical information that is missing from official reports and studies that are critical to completely understanding the dynamics comprising the destruction of the WTC buildings, it appears very unlikely that all three WTC buildings could have collapsed in what appears to be identical fashions. The problems identified in the subsequent review and analysis of the collapsed structures (i,e., mysterious liquefying structural steel, unexplained reports of multiple explosions, catastrophic failure of lower level core structural supports, residue of explosive material at the building sites) raises numerous questions that warrant a more complete study. Further criminal and scientific investigation and testing appears to be fully warranted to resolve all of these issues. It is for these reasons that I fully support the objective of this petition.

The fall of WTC 7 did it for me. The fact that BBC had announced it prior to the collapse, and that it had not been hit by any airplane. Then if fell perfectly...the third skyscraper that day that just fell perfectly into its own footprint. No way...Then the media blackout on that building and not a word in the commission report...WTC 7 was very obviously a controlled demolition and no one puts that together on the day of 911...It had to have been planned. Any electrical engineer knows that when buildings collapse they do not explode. I saw explosions and particles being ejected outward and upward. This was not a collapse. I knew that there was something unnatural about two buildings collapsing straight down the day I saw this. Then there was a third building (WTC 7) that also collapsed like a perfectly executed conventional controlled demolition. I've been a 9/11 truther since about 9:30 AM on Sept. 11 2001. The FBI tried to blow up one of the towers in '93 and they were caught on tape. This has to be an inside job.

23 year member of the international brotherhood of electrical workers for inside construction. I've been on numerous large scale construction projects, both industrial and large scale commercial. Back in 2006 I had the opportunity to work at a Florida power and light facility in Indian town, fl. What I saw there led to me questioning the official story of 9/11. A bad gas valve at power house blew flames on to a 12 story, bare steel structure for hours. Fire rising over 300 feet in the air. The main column it was hitting barely twisted a little at the top. Granted we had to replace a lot of wiring and smaller braces of the structure, I realized at that time the myth the media had been selling. I started looking into the events of that fateful day and learned building 7 also met it's demise. Years later, I still find sheeple who think only two buildings fell that day. I've had enough. Reading the A&E's reasoning and seeing the film footage makes me have a very difficult time believing the official version of events. I have to say watching the buildings collapse live immediately made me pause and say this is not real. The only 3 skyscrapers in the world to ever collapse from fire, I say prove it the proof put forward is totally inadequate.

It simply defies physics that the tops of those buildings took the path of most resistance. The lower floors were designed to support the weight of the upper floors. they had to be blown for that to be compromised. Everyone should sit & stare at wrecking ball demolition. Growing up in the 1950s and 60s, I tended to accept just about everything I was told by my teachers, the government, the TV and movie industry, and society in general without really questioning it. Until my freshman year at high school, that is. It was then that the idea of what if crossed my mind. When I finished my schooling, I decided to travel the world and see with my own eyes whether all I had been taught about the rest of the world was as I had been taught. It wasn't. And that made me start questioning everything else I had been taught. In my early twenties, I began living in Tokyo, Japan, where I stayed for the next 30 years before coming back to the United States. Having lived approximately half and half of my life up to this point in two different countries/cultures, I tended to view things from perspectives that are not shared by many. If anything, I have learned to never accept anything at face value, but always to look behind the curtain.
Having no knowledge of architecture, I can only comment from a novice's viewpoint. Three concrete and steel buildings came down on the same day due to fires even though no concrete and steel building had ever been brought down by fire before in the history of architecture. Two of those buildings had also been struck by extremely large aircraft, also a world's first, but the third building collapse is totally inexplicable. When one considers the scale of the fire in WTC 7, it is unfathomable that it could have fallen into its own footprint (at near free-fall speed no less) because of fire. But whether there were oddities about the collapse of the three towers on that day really has little to do with my strong convictions that there is more to 9/11 than what meets the eye. In fact, the suspicious nature of the fall of the buildings is more like the period at the end of the sentence that has already been spoken.
