PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

For the last 15 years, I believed much of the US government's account of the events of 9/11. However, after actually taking the time to do my own research I became aware of a number of troubling facts surrounding that day and the days leading up to 9/11. However, what really began to raise doubts in my mind was the way in which the towers fell. Although, I had seen the footage many times before, I decided to take a second look at the collapse of WTC-1, WTC-2 and WTC-7 not from the emotional or human perspective but through the eyes of an engineer/physicist. What I had failed to notice, even as an observer trained to examine events based on the laws of physics, was that all three buildings fell at near free-fall speeds with little to no apparent resistance from the floors below. This is physically impossible without the use of some form of controlled demolition charges. This realization shook me to the core and forced me to reaccess my world view and the version of history I had been given. I add my voice today to the many other scientist and engineers who are demanding the truth in hopes that if enough of us voice our concerns based on factual evidence and professional observation that the whole truth might be disclosed.

There is too much doubt about the official story published in the media for a thorough, neutral investigation not to take place. Beyond a doubt, the WTC buildings were a highly professional controlled demolition job. It must have taken about 6-8 weeks of preparation. The evidence collected and the design simulation calculations show that US government and NIST offered explanations that do not hold water. What is astonishing and totally humiliating is the fact that the government thought the world was full of morons, and that they could pull this off by saying utter nonsense like jet fuel caused the collapses.

1) From a metals engineering perspective, my experience tells me that it is impossible for jet fuel to melt (liquefy) structural steel, yet there were rivers of glowing molten iron under ground zero for weeks after 9/11 as evidenced by eyewitness accounts and US Geological aerial thermographs. - - - - 2) Compounding the impossibility of fuel to melt steel is the massive heat sink of the huge central core weldments of the twin towers. However, these core structures are always left out of official discussions and computer generated simulations of these events. - - - - 3) The black smoke of the twin towers is evidence that the jet fuel fires inside were burning cool. Black smoke is an indication of an oxygen deprived fire - the towers were smoldering, not melting. Further evidence of the cool fires is radio records of NYC firefighters discussing how they only need two or three hoses to knock them out. - - - - 4) From a purely logical perspective, the official story does not make sense because of the events surrounding WTC 7 which was a full block away from the twin towers yet the buildings directly between it and the towers remained standing even though they were directly rained on by falling debris. WTC 7 was neither struck by an aircraft, nor significantly damaged by debris. - - - - 5) The following is a MUST SEE video: At just after 5pm EST, the BBC news had their NYC correspondent Jane Stanley in front of their studio window overlooking ground zero and reported that the Solomon Brothers Building (official name of WTC 7) had collapsed - when in fact it was standing like new in the background right behind her. How did they know about the collapse 20 minutes ahead of time? - - - - CONCLUSION: If someone knew of at least one of the collapses ahead of time and jet fuel was not the reason for the collapse, then there must be some other reason for that collapse. It logically follows that if this true explanation is being covered-up, it is probably the same explanation for all three buildings.

I've never believed the conventional wisdom regarding the collapses right from originally seeing them on live TV. The angle cuts on the beams is evidence that should scream out that more was going on. After watching the film how can anyone not have at least a compelling doubt and desire for a clearer, truer explanation?

The attacks on America were horrific enough, but to see the Twin Towers collapse was even worse. I watched it and then had to explain to my special education students what happened (although they had not been in the room at the time, they heard the adults talking and saw the reactions on their way back to class), why (which I still can't answer), and will it happen again. No child should have to witness that, especially after they went through the attack on the Murrah Bldg in OKC! A complete and thorough investigation, without any more cover-ups, is needed. 9 years is too long to wait.

The 'official story' is a lie. I never believed it. I still don't. I've heard just about every idiotic excuse (for the towers collapsing) from people who used to be friends.
