To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. I managed large gun programs for the military. I have experience in root cause analyses when the unanticipated occurs.
Here is my synopsis of the situation: 1. The 3 World Trade Center buildings that collapsed were designed to withstand commercial jet impact and the subsequent fire. Unless the design margins were compromised, they should not have collapsed. 2. If the design margins were compromised, and they were reason for the collapse, the buildings would still not have collapsed in the extremely controlled fashion that was observed. Thus, design margin does not appear to be the cause of the collapses. 3. In searching for a plausible cause, the evidence first pointed to explosives. Evidence of explosions was provided by the numerous people that reported hearing them, by the evidence of high velocity radial trajectories of debris, and by the degree to which the debris field was pulverized. 4. The evidence then pointed to demolition-class explosives. Evidence of demolition-class explosives was provided by people seeing molten steel in a fire that should have been at least 1000 F below steel's melting point, by the debris field being permeated by bb-sized steel-based spheres that shouldn't have been 'vaporized', by the presence of elements unique to a demolition-class explosive in the debris field, and by the fact that all 3 buildings 'free fell' to the ground as if their infrastructure had suddenly disappeared (as is typical of demolition). 5. The evidence finally pointed to the use of military-grade demolition-class explosives. 6. If the conclusions from this evidence prove true, and to date they have not been refuted, the group of people responsible for the destruction of the WTC buildings remain at large, and the threat that destroyed the WTC buildings remains. 7. Unfortunately, the official root cause report does not account for the use of explosives at all. 8. For the United States to hold its own in a rough world, the reality of the situation must be irrefutably determined, and appropriate corrective actions taken. The current official report may be right, incompetent, or a cover-up. If the current official report does not withstand challenge, and the demolition claim stands, corrective actions must be taken against the people responsible, as well as the people that authored the root cause report, either for incompetence or for a willful cover-up. To do otherwise is to encourage a repeat performance.

Deane Rykerson has been involved in building, environment and design for over thirty years from his background in woodworking/boat building to his present expertise in historic preservation and sustainable design. With degrees from the State University of New York, Boston Architectural Center, and Harvard University, his work has been published in Boston Magazine, Fine Homebuilding, Harvard Visions 1996, and frequently contributes to the Boston Society of Architects Chapter Letter. He has presented and led seminars at Build Boston 1995 through 2004, Restoration '95, and the 1998 AIA national convention. He has taught at the Wentworth Institute of Technology and Boston University. I have been an electrical engineer for over 30 years. I have worked with computer models of electronics including the modeling of semiconductor devices so I am aware of how dependent the accuracy of the model is to not just the equations but the data provided.
It seems clear that even a short 2 seconds of free fall constitutes a basis to demand a real investigation, not to mention all of the other facts and observations. And seeing the continued attempt by government and media to conceal the facts speaks even more loudly. This website is the primary one I point people to examine the issues. I feel there are other elements of 9/11 that have equal need of investigation, but the demolition collapse thesis is the one most likely to be compelling to most people.

The collapses were framed by the media and official investigations as if there was little doubt in their conclusions on collapse. Taking a fresh look at the collapses 3 years ago woke up my rational thinking and education to the fact that the evidence and scientific numbers didn't add up in the disciplines of mechanics and materials. They made it easy for people to imagine that the initial events alone could actually cause the WTC 1, 2 and 7 to collapse as they did.

I also wrote a brutally true autobiography, Heroes from the Attic: A Gripping True Story of Triumph, under the pseudonym of Herman I. Neuman. It has been censored from the skyscrapers in NYC down to school superintendents and a lot of different ones in between.

Given that the need for a new Pearl Harbor was announced by the crafters & signers of The Project for a New American Century in order to hasten their objectives TWO FULL YEARS before the 9/11 operation took place; I was not completely surprised when it happened. There is a huge old secret government WW2 bunker under Grand Central Terminal in NYC. It so happens has private rail line connecting into the rest of the subway system. Cheney uses this system regularly to this day. (as seen on the Discovery Channel) I believe it is the logical the staging area for the men and materiel needed to place the devices in WTC 1,2 & 7..... in my opinion.

The way that the three buildings fell on 9/11 certainly raises doubts that they fell due to the reported causes: damage by the aircraft and the subsequent fire. The fact that Building 7 also fell in the same fashion (completely vertical), and the abundant physical and photographic evidence of explosives, convinces me that an independent investigation of this matter must be undertaken.

After working in residential construction during summer vacations in high school, I worked as a commercial construction contractor for over 25 years. Since 1990, I've work in the financial industry as well.
Sadly, it's not a matter of showing the open mind the contradictions of the official story but rather opening closed minds to the truth. Just as you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink, neither can you force someone to see the obvious. My personal experience is that most Americans simply don't want to know and will go to great lengths to hide their eyes and cover their ears. It's going to take a great deal of (self inflicted) pain before the eyes begin to open and the mind desires to acknowledge what they already know. Our government lies to us. It's that simple. As long as we insist on Daddy telling us that everything will be OK, nothing will change. The key is to be there, ready to help, when the eyes finally open.

I graduated with a design degree in 1976. I have been an artist in my field and a self employed business owner for 30 years.
My intuition on that horrendous day, told me something was so strange, in the way those buildings fell so quickly. I had no idea that fire could make a building fall like that in less than 10 seconds! I had immediate doubts about what the media was telling us.
