To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Maybe it won't be ever possible to know who was behind the terrorist attack in the saddest day in the history of the USA, but every person who analyzes carefully the evidence exposed by A&E for 9/11 truth and other groups dealing with the issue, can conclude by him or herself that the official version is not only incomplete but strongly biased in order to avoid the knowing of the truth. I hold two engineering degrees as indicated above (1971, 1972), but have not been employed as an engineer since 1978, when I followed other endeavors. My background and experience in engineering and the sciences have however continued to guide my daily work in those other endeavors and my consideration of issues such as what really happened on 911.
The official explanations of what happened on 911 are simply not plausible. I find the collection of evidence from Achitects & Engineers for 911 Truth to be compelling, and although the exact truths are difficult to discern, what this organization suggests must certainly come very close. Regarding in particular the destruction of the three World Trade Center buildings, I believe the use of explosives has now been amply proven to be fact.

But I can imagine scenarios in which the explosives were placed (for stupid reasons) without expecting the attack by airplanes and then were implemented in response to that attack (again for stupid reasons). Conspiracy requires a level of intelligence not in evidence. Cover up is the primal response to stupidity.

Although I am not an architect or engineer i have a good sense of physics and what is and is not possible with both structures and aviation. I have been an avid hang gliding enthusiast for over 36 years. I built my first hang glider when I was only thirteen and have gone on to win several large competitions. At age fifty, I still fly three or four times a week. Most of my buddies are licensed pilots and we all agree the manuever pulled off by Hanni Hanjour into the pentagon makes him almost superman. We just don't buy it. I pulled a high speed stall trying to come out of a straight down dive in my hang glider one time and was lucky to live through it. I have also worked as an airframe mechanic in several hang gliding shops around the country. Been actively involved as a test pilot in the designing of several new models of hang gliders, and performed the structural load tests required for hang gliders by the HGMA (hang glider manufacturers association) so lets say I am an unlicensed pilot/engineer type guy.
I attended Richard Gage's presentation up at the University of Washington in march of 2008 with two of my favorite cousins. The evidence for controlled demolition of building number seven and the twin towers was undeniable. It defied the laws of physics for the destruction of these building to be anything BUT modern demolition. A Scientist buddy I fly hang gliders with, Dan Tyler, agrees with Richard Gages presentation as well. For any investigation to accept the improbable hypothesis of destruction by fire while all the clear evidence indicates controlled demolition just doesn't make any sense. I fully support a new and honest investigation of the 9/11.

Too many random coincidences equal something going on. As well as in my limited knowledge and simple layman's understanding, from a fire or a plane crash, I was expecting, while watching them burn, that if they did collapse, it would look totally different than what they did. They should have almost fallen, not collapsed into themselves. Even Dan Rather's comment was that it looked like a controlled demolition. I don't have much technical experience, other than the fact that I was a huge pyromaniac when I was little, and I feel that I have a grasp on the physical abilities of fire and its effects. Other than that, I am a college student interested in the subject and have been attempting to gather information on the subject for my own personal knowledge.
The fact that the buildings fell at the speed of gravity, the fact that Building Seven was never struck by an airplane, the fact that the FEMA report never even mentioned this building, and the fact that molten steel was found in the wreckage weeks after the event offer just a glimpse of the long list of contradictions found in the official story produced by the government and the media about 9/11. In my opinion, this official story should be completely rejected, and the matter should be reopened for debate and investigation.

The fact that all evidence was whisked away with no examination leads me to request a full-scale investigation of all the remaining recovered material to determine how much was covered with Thermite residue. It seems to me very very clear that the 9/11 Commission Report was a fabrication and an outright lie. How do a few small and manageable fires reduce three skyscrapers - thousands of tons of steel and concrete - to dust? Why was so little time and money spent on forensic investigation? I'm just a concerned citizen with no scientific background, but even I can tell the buildings didn't go down the way they did from just a crash and fires.
The WTC building collapses look exactly like controlled demolitions I have seen on TV of other buildings. Also some of the other things I have read about like steel being shot out laterally, and the total pulverization of all people and building materials and furniture. When buildings collapse during earthquakes whole bodies are pulled out of the wreckage, not just slivered pieces. I think the thing that really did it for me was the molten steel, which when I looked up the temperature needed to melt steel verses the temperature of burning jet fuel, it wasn't even close!

Whenever the subject of the WTC science is raised the pat phrase is always, oh no another conspiracy theorist, it is too much for most to contemplate. People want to know why and who was behind the decision to undertake this destruction (demolition) and I can only say, that is another issue. My primary concern is the science and the investigation methodology. The lack of coordination, the absence of a scientific approach the wholesale removal of evidence from the sites is all secondary.

There is no doubt that Building 7 was demolished. It even collapsed inwards just like any other building deliberately brought down with explosives. As the 2 towers came down, some of the explosions cutting their supports can clearly be seen when the film is shown is slow motion. Steel supports left standing at Ground Zero show the tell-tale explosive angle cut and melted steel typical of a demolition job. Evidence is overwhelming that these 3 buildings where brought down deliberately. The debris was also disposed of before it could be examined. There was no trace of an aircraft or occupants in the Pentagon event, or in the field in Pennsylvania. There have been plenty of cases of aircraft slamming into the ground where the debris and body parts were clearly from a commercial airliner - yet no single piece of evidence at either of these 9/11 events. Only government agents carrying away a large suspiciously wrapped box from the Pentagon.

An airliner supposedly hits the Pentagon, makes 1 entry hole & comes out, after having passed through several(4/5?) recently reinforced walls, forming a near perfectly round exit hole! Many(dozens?)of video cameras surround the Pentagon. Video tapes are confiscated by government agencies. Most tapes not released. Few released tapes show anything clearly. Thierry Meyssan, French author, writes a most compelling best selling book which proposes the impossibility of such an airliner crash. No proven wreckage. No passenger bodies/luggage. Two huge jet engines missing. Plane missing! Early witness reports of small commuter type plane strike. Reports of some witnesses with military experience claim missile strike. No visible engine impact damage on Pentagon. Lawn in front of impact area in very good condition. Gag order supposedly imposed on all personnel related to crash site cleanup. Ditto for WTC buildings. Many compellingly factual internet sites affirm impossibility of government's conspiracy theory story. Such as Judy Wood's 9/11 Issues, Morgan Reynold's No More Games. I've been involved in the construction industry for 35 + years and have a fair share of common sense. Within a week of 9/11/01 I smelled a rat. I'm totally convinced the official account of the events of that day are pure BS.
When I was watching the events of 9/11 I was saying that in New York City those people would have that building back in service in six months. I know a lot of people from that area and know what they're made of and it was a complete shock to see the South tower collapse. Absolutely impossible under the circumstances. Building 7 is another story in itself. Ridiculous.
