To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

However, after spending countless hours reading reports, looking through comprehensive engineering analyses, studying the tower's design aspects, and seeing what a poor, non-technical report/explanation was produced by our government, there is no doubt that there needs to be a more thorough investigation into what happened. It does not add up.

WTC-7 was brought down by carefully planned demolition. High rise buildings do not fall symmetrically without disabling all the columns all at the same time. You do not have to be an engineer or architect to build a sample prototype structure made of sticks and cartons to show that a symmetrical fall will not occur if all the columns are not removed at the same time. This was a carefully planned demolition and would have taken months ahead to implement.

That morning I woke up to a shifting dusk morning air, as the birds chirped seemingly louder than usual next to my open bedroom window. That hot Colorado summer was quickly giving way to the coming fall season, and the new school year was setting its pace, as I began 6th grade just after a months long family visit in Europe with my grandparents. When I went downstairs for our routine morning cereal and homework check, a look of horror on my mother's face that I hope to never witness on anyone ever again, engulfed the living room as she gleamed in disbelief at the news reports on the television. Living smack dab in between Ft Carson and Peterson Air Force base, in my home town of Widefield Colorado, the city of Colorado Springs that morning was clenched in the security of the armed forces, on standby, ready to deploy by the command of NORAD, which was just 10 miles west of our home. I would never forget the military response to the attacks on our nation. Tanks, armored vehicles, and fully suited soldiers lined the streets. At that young age, the sight of responding heroes and patriots inspired me, and I was awestruck at what seemed at the time, the most honorable and brave men and women I'd ever seen, as my mother slowly drove my little sister and I to a terrified and frozen school district, which in the hours following would soon dismiss all classes until further notice. Things would never be the same again. Still impacted and full of revenge, 7 years later, at the age of 18 I joined the United States Army airborne infantry. It seems I was plagued with a thirst to do my part in fighting back those who brought so much pain and change to my nation. During my service I started hearing claims of an inside job. After years of rebuke, and denial, I wasn't hearing these claim any more, but began LISTENING to them. Unfathomable accounts. Unbelievable statements. Eventually I began to do my own research. In saddened disbelief, sitting in the middle of a war torn Middle Eastern village, I stared at videos, and reports on my lap top. It was an unquestionable conclusion. My own government, the leaders of this nation and others who I am sworn to and vowed to protect, played its own hand in the very attack I now deplore and fight to avenge. I felt furious. I felt betrayed beyond words. I wanted out of the military right then and there. The things we've done, the waste of life, the blood shed, all in the name of self inflicted victimization. Today I stand proud as a combat veteran, who now realizes who we were truly fighting for. It wasn't for those empty suits in smoke filled rooms. We were fighting for you. The citizens of this nation. The people. Those who knew the whole time what our government was doing to itself. We were fighting for the victims of that day and the citizens who on the days before and after 9/11, couldn't fight for themselves. Our government, a corrupt bureaucracy, who evidently is willing to kill its own people for power and control, will go beyond its means to silence those who speak against it. But I stand before you today, 20 years later, to say thank you to all the experts, the survivors and victims of that attack. Thank You for speaking out and fighting for truth. Today I am currently enrolled in college, studying to become an electrical engineer. I hope to one day utilize my education to back up what we know and continue this fight for truth with expertise and wisdom. My sincere condolences go out to the families, and my deepest respect go to the TRUE experts who have worked endlessly to expose the truth. You have inspired me to join this fight. I find the official narrative of symmetrical structural collapse of WTC 1 & 2 as a consequence of being struck by airliners and subsequent contents fires, and the collapse of WTC 7 solely as a consequence of contents fires to be unpersuasive, nor does it account for the energy required to produce the blanket of extremely fine dust containing nanothermite which spread over lower Manhatten, nor does it account for the thousands of minute particles of human remains found on the rooftops of neighboring buildings. Much is yet to be revealed.

I'm concerned about the timing of the collapse of the towers. And, also the near perfect landing of each tower as if it were a controlled demolition. The event just seems to perfect to have been caused by airplanes that would have normally disintegrated upon impact. Not to mention any fuel fire I've witnessed during a traffic accident seems to burn out rather quickly. The amount of fuel in those 2 planes combined could not equal the amount that is carried by a fully loaded tanker truck. Especially after having flown for 90 minutes to their final destination.

In my honest opinion, after a careful viewing of independent facts, studies, and also personally being at the site of a building take-down I believe the WTC 1,2,7 were taken down deliberately by means of controlled demolition. I have also seen Larry Silverstein's PBS interview that WTC was decided to be pulled, how could this have been done in just a few hours, it is impossible, it takes weeks of planning, and then some more time.

Ample evidence has surfaced since the events occurred which require that this case be reopened and independently studied. Substantial doubt about the 911 Commission's findings is warranted. I am a professional musician but prior to college achieved perfect grades in math and science, and was very interested in physics...it would surely have been my other career choice had music not been a particular talent. I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Michigan and a Master's Degree from the Yale University, where I majored in music and (at both institutions) took courses in the history of architecture. I also took a course in philosophy and the history of proving arguments. I consider myself highly educated, pragmatic, cynical...not easily fooled, and rely on instances of incontrovertible fact (scientific method) to support arguments rather than gut feelings.
It amazes me that Building 7 has been swept under the rug, and that anyone who thinks about physics in even an abstract or rudimentary way (separated from science or mathematics) cannot see the obvious impossibility that the towers pancaked in under ten seconds at free fall speed leaving no piles of pancaked floors whatsoever. From learning (on your site and others) of the presence of microscopic spherical metal droplets in the vast acres of concrete dust which are the buildings' primary remains, I concur that they were exploded with an extremely well-engineered methodology.
