To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The view of independent experts is obviously correct, it is physically impossible for a building to collapse at close to free fall acceleration, unless all resistance in the floors below has first been removed, requiring a blow out of all the columns on the floors below, in addition, localized damage could not produce a symmetrical collapse as seen in video footage of the collapse of building 7.

I know some first responders personally, the things they've described seeing with their own eyes aren't possible with jet fuel being the only heat source. You would have as much success melting steel with ice cubes as you would with jet fuel. Then it becomes a question of who do you trust, the first responders who gave and continue to give their lives, or the CIA etc.

WTC 7 lacks any reasonable explanation or evidence to support a collapse at the rate of a free falling object. I'm concerned about the timing of the collapse of the towers. And, also the near perfect landing of each tower as if it were a controlled demolition. The event just seems to perfect to have been caused by airplanes that would have normally disintegrated upon impact. Not to mention any fuel fire I've witnessed during a traffic accident seems to burn out rather quickly. The amount of fuel in those 2 planes combined could not equal the amount that is carried by a fully loaded tanker truck. Especially after having flown for 90 minutes to their final destination.

In my honest opinion, after a careful viewing of independent facts, studies, and also personally being at the site of a building take-down I believe the WTC 1,2,7 were taken down deliberately by means of controlled demolition. I have also seen Larry Silverstein's PBS interview that WTC was decided to be pulled, how could this have been done in just a few hours, it is impossible, it takes weeks of planning, and then some more time.

Ample evidence has surfaced since the events occurred which require that this case be reopened and independently studied. Substantial doubt about the 911 Commission's findings is warranted. I am a professional musician but prior to college achieved perfect grades in math and science, and was very interested in physics...it would surely have been my other career choice had music not been a particular talent. I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Michigan and a Master's Degree from the Yale University, where I majored in music and (at both institutions) took courses in the history of architecture. I also took a course in philosophy and the history of proving arguments. I consider myself highly educated, pragmatic, cynical...not easily fooled, and rely on instances of incontrovertible fact (scientific method) to support arguments rather than gut feelings.
It amazes me that Building 7 has been swept under the rug, and that anyone who thinks about physics in even an abstract or rudimentary way (separated from science or mathematics) cannot see the obvious impossibility that the towers pancaked in under ten seconds at free fall speed leaving no piles of pancaked floors whatsoever. From learning (on your site and others) of the presence of microscopic spherical metal droplets in the vast acres of concrete dust which are the buildings' primary remains, I concur that they were exploded with an extremely well-engineered methodology.
