The AE911Truth Petition
To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

It's the 9/11 news feed with (in ratio) most followers. I'm aiming at a critical non-biased audience. The website http://waarheid911.com is based on a journalistic approach. Both initiatives do fully support all efforts made by AE911Truth.
Evidently all the three towers fallen on 9/11 did not just collapse under the weight of their own damaged structures. The combination of two basic facts, the very first collapses in history of these kind and the optical proof that these collapses did not just happen by the force of gravity alone, should have been a huge demand for the most thorough investigation in the sake of truth and peoples safety in history. But in stead, they first refused to investigate and later they frustrated the investigation that was forced by organized family members of those who died on 9/11. Now, what can be more contradictory than that?

My colleagues and I want answers, and we want the people responsible for 9/11 to be punished. Way too much money and too many lives have been spent on fighting 'terrorism'. This is what the US media brainwashes all our citizens with, instead of informing us of the facts about what actually happened on that day. Americans need to be informed and educated so more people can stand up and make a difference.

I was educated with a broad understanding of mechanical, chemical, electrical, and structural engineering fundamentals. I have a basic understanding of concrete, timber, and steel design.
I initially accepted the heating-theory when the WTC buildings collapsed because it sounded plausible at first glance and I didn't feel any compulsion to examine or think about it any further. However, upon seeing Loose Change, Fabled Enemies, and listening to the makers of those videos in person and listening to Richard Gage in person and referencing it to my background in structures and thermal dynamics, it became apparent to me that this was yet another fiasco/cover up ala Oklahoma City. I even manufactured my own refutations of the official version for the layman: 1. If you pour any flammable liquid on a flat surface (like a beam), what is the hottest point? Answer: it's at the tip of the flame NOT at the base so all that fuel spilling randomly around the buildings could not possibly have melted/softened so much steel mass from such an uncontrolled fire (just pour some alcohol on a cement floor, light it, then put your finger inside the flame near the floor and then at the tip of the flame and compare the temps). 2. Heat dissipates rapidly in 3-dimensions so couldn't possibly have the focused or confined temps necessary to melt steel, most of it would be carried away by air. 3. Steel itself also dissipates heat rapidly so any heating that occurred at the site of the fire would immediately spread throughout the steel frame disallowing any temperatures hot enough to melt steel anywhere other than the site of the fire if at all. 4. Note how it conventionally requires an acetylene torch using PURE oxygen at a FOCUSED point using only the TIP of the flame to melt even a SMALL area of steel - the WTC buildings had only AIR (not pure O2), had DIFFUSE heat, and over a LARGE random area - how could anyone think that was sufficient to cause failure of even one piece of steel let alone the ENTIRE steel structure ?!? 5. Jets and cars burn their fuel continuously within confined steel enclosures yet I have never heard of them melting due to this heat. 6. Even if a steel building could collapse due to heat, with a RANDOM fire heating solid structural steel RANDOMLY, I would expect a RANDOM failure leaving some columns collapsed, some columns twisted, some columns bending off to the side, and many columns still standing straight up in the air - NOT a TOTAL crumbling collapse into a nice neat footprint into the ground! Only a planned and focused demolition using explosives set at key structural locations throughout the building could cause this. The fact that you don't need any sophisticated theories or secret evidence to prove this, and the fact that you can simply use everyday logic and experiences along with mainstream media's own videos to expose the falsity of their own pet explanation for 9/11 makes this petition a slam dunk - assuming it is presented to a logical, ethical, and receptive audience (oh, oh).

BSEE (Electrical Engineer) RIT I worked years in the electrical construction field before moving on to computers and computer programming. I worked in steel and concrete buildings as they were put together from the ground up.
In my construction work I have seen first hand the amount of redundancy that is built in to steel and concrete buildings as they were being constructed. I have seen extremely hot electrical fires that have completely destroyed the insides of electrical panels yet the steel panel boxes and the surrounding concrete was left undamaged. We heat the construction site with 200,000 BTU heaters (http://www.masterheaters.com/kero/index-2.html) that burn jet fuel. These never even come close to melting the steel. No steel and concrete building has ever collapsed from fire. From my own observations backed up by facts, I know the THREE WTC buildings were not brought down by fire.

One of the many things that puts the official story in question for me is the matter of foreknowledge. How could so many people know that WTC buildings 1, 2, and 7 were going to come down when a fire has never caused a complete collapse of a building before. Also, it was well documented that the Twin Towers were designed to withstand a crash of a large passenger airplane.

I am a New Yorker living in North Carolina. I was driving through the City the day before the tragedy. I am not satisfied with the current explanation of events of that day.
The building collapses have not been explained to my satisfaction. Furthermore, building 7 is NEVER addressed. Why? Could it be there IS NO explanation that any normal, thinking person can accept as factual? Building 7 is ripe for investigation, yet none is launched. Why?

I am a Mechanical Design Engineer with 20 years experience. I have always been very mechanically inclined. My father was an Mechanical Engineer. My brother is an engineer. (Both with more education though)
I have read as much as I could stand of the FEMA and NIST reports on the collapse of building one and two. Basically I can believe that there is no way that these buildings would have fallen by any other way than demolition. I just want to put it all together to show other people who are in Engineering. ( and friends) 1. One fact I state to people are the speeds at which the buildings fell. All of the structure under the initial start of collapse would have to be removed to achieve almost free fall speeds. 2. The other thing I like to mention is the fact that every structural joint at each floor would have to fail at the same time to fall so straight and fast. I show people that there are 68 joints per floor, not including beams that connect from an inner or outer column on one side and to another beam on the other. Only because once the beam that is connected to both an inner and outer column fails, the beams attached to it will lose their connection. I try to tell them that you would need a consistent fire temperature on the entire floor to have a consistent failure. I do not beleive this is possible unless you have the structure in a oven. 3. The temperatures of the fires are a huge part of being able to show people there is something wrong with the official story. Very conveniently NIST states that the temperatures of the fires were 1100 degrees F. I looked up the basic strength of structural steel in just the Machinery Handbook. It shows funny enough that the steel strengthens up to 400 degrees F. Still stronger than 100 % at approx. 500-600 degrees F. It has only a 20-30 % strength at 1100 degrees F. (no fire proofing) If it actually reached that temperature (1100 deg) there may be sagging. But consistently? With only 20-30 % strength I believe the structures could sag. I do not believe that temperature was achieved. What temperature does jet fuel burn at? I heard around 500 degrees F. If a jet fuel fire was fanned by air? Is there a website that would show this? The fire would dissipate quickly as throwing a match into gasoline. I figure the only thing burning after the dissipation of the jet fuel would be the office furniture fuel. I am thinking that all that furniture is more flame retardant in a high rise building.

I was shown a 2 hour film my senior year of high school entitled The Great Illusion that changed the way I view this country, the people who run it and those of us whom falsely believe that we are free...after viewing the number of documentaries on the subject, my only conclusion is that our government has deceived us, has been deceiving us, and has an unfathomable amount of power over us due to this fact...mutual fear brings peace!
I cannot believe that more people haven't been vocal about this from the beginning.

When I first saw the buildings come down something just didn't add up. It's almost as if it was planned that the buildings were to come down. On the news you could see the fear in the faces of the people running away from the crumbling (exploding) buildings, it's as if there was more to what we were seeing than what the media was reporting. On the faces of the people you could see fear caused by explosions rather than just crumbling buildings.
