To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Even at the temperatures of building fires, the steel of construction could not lose sufficient strength to collapse under a partial structure load as is evidenced by 15 and 29 floors weight for each respective twin tower - the design load factors are simply too high to permit such failure. If mechanical failure were to occur, it would have occurred almost instantly and certainly asymmetrically.

I don't think that the professionals listed here on this website, that are presenting this evidence, would do so recklessly, putting their careers and reputations on the line, if they didn't feel strongly that the story that has been relayed to the world, is in fact full of inconsistencies.

WTC 7 was clearly controlled demolition. As for the two towers, I have looked at the floor plans available on-line, the construction photos and articles about their construction from old engineering magazines, and the videos of their collapse. The official explanation falls woefully short in fully explaining how gravity alone, after the impact and fires had done their work, could cause the top 1/6 of the North Tower, by far the lightest 1/6, to collapse and crush the remaining 5/6 of the tower into a pile of rubble only a few dozen feet high in less than 15 seconds.
