PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Saw the towers come down on CNN in luderitz, Namibia on 9 Sept 2001 - as far away from that world as you could get. Bought into the bush conspiracy immediately and thought nothing more about it until I was looking for some images of the world trade centers towers in July 2007 and came across the vast amount of info on the net about the incidents and the alternate theories (some very wacky and out there) to what happened. Then I saw both Richards slide show and Steve e Jones power point on the net and found the facts presented did not added up to what had been presented as the truth at the time. When you step back and have over view , what Richard is asking for makes complete sense. The research presented by Richard is sound. Buildings do not collapse the way these three did by themselves.

The theory that the three towers collapsed due solely to aircraft impact defies the physics law of conservation of momentum. Simply, the impact of the collapsing upper section does not have the force necessary to push through the stronger lower sections at an ever accelerating rate. (The increase in acceleration during collapse was documented by independent researchers.) WTC 7 was not struck by an aircraft but also collapsed that same day. This collapse is entirely unprecedented in the history of fire-protected steel frame high rise construction. The only way the three towers could have collapsed in the manner observed was by additional forces, such as demolition charges, being added to the buildings.

On 9/11, I was just starting 7th grade, throughout the day students were leaving class to go home, they were being picked up by their parents. The students in middle school, such as myself, had not been told of what happened, they only told the high school students for some reason. When I got home my father surprised me because he was home early. As I walked into the house I saw him watching CNN. They were just showing the video of the collapse and the towers burning earlier that day. He told me that the Department of National Defense, which he worked for, had sent everyone home after the second plane hit. My initial reaction after seeing the footage of the Twin Towers collapsing was: It looks like a controlled demolition. My father went on to tell me that Arab extremists had attacked the building by flying hijacked planes into it and that the impact of the planes had caused the buildings to collapse. I repeated again But it looks like a controlled demolition. Of course at the time I was only 12 years old and did not realize the implications of it being a controlled demolition. After watching the TV footage CNN had on replay, I later asked him Why would anybody attack a building full of innocent people. It doesn't make sense. He replied: Well that's Muslim extremists for you, they're just crazy. It just didn't make sense to me. That is all I really remember from my experience on the day of September 11th 2001.

I have been involved with commercial projects for all of my architectural career. I have worked with many materials from wood, concrete, and steel. I have only experience in low rise buildings no higher then 3 stories.

From my studies of building collapse in college structural courses no building collapses that we studied collapsed such a uniform manner, and speed. There is only one way that this occurred and that is for internal explosions on the structural support columns similar to a demolition of a building would occur. There was not enough damage to building 7 to cause a structural collapses. This is my opinion on the collapses, a basic understanding of structural properties of steel and concrete, a knowledge of physics, and some common since have brought me to this conclusion.

I've studied the structure of building 7, the collapse, & much more material. That collapse is impossible without cutting near all the columns together, as is the case with a pre-determined demolition. Building 7 was also shown in a BBC video collapsing in real time, over the shoulder of a reporter who was telling us it already collapsed 20 minutes earlier. All the tower fires across the world have been analysed, not one matched the details of the 911 events. The collapse of B7 must have been pre-determined and not part of any knock on affect from the other collapse over 400m away. As for the twin towers I have serious problems with the media story. It does not add up. A side point penetration would have created a sideways falling, not free fall straight down. That is elemental. I do not believe the account given by government, 'official' investigations and media.

On closer inspection after 911, I was not surprised to find out there were many discrepancies between the obvservable facts and the official coverup. I was a structural draftsman for about 16 years. I worked on various structural projects such as buildings, bridges, dams and roads. I was also involved in surveying and did site supervising of the placement of structural steel and re-bar. I also did site soil testing on earth dams and building foundations. It doesn't take a degree in physics or an architectural degree to clearly see that the official explanation of those events are not only not accurate but border on deceit. As Americans we all deserve to know the truth no matter how painful it may be and no matter how many high ranking figures are implicated. The American people are not fools to be toyed with and all those involved in this act of treason be assured that the truth will be uncovered eventually. (i.e. Hitler bombing his own soil to start W.W. II) Again, you don't need a degree to see the explosions bringing down the buildings. History has proven that even structures with far less engineering have withstood far greater stress for longer periods of time without collapsing. Two words. Controlled Demolition. I first heard about the 911truth effort through Jeff, who had a booth at the Berkeley Farmer's Market with leaflets he was handing out. I later attended conferences at which speakers addressed the inconsistencies in the official story. I attended the annual 911truth film festival at the Grand Lake Theater. I first heard Richard Gage there and feel he presents the most convincing and credible arguments because the visuals he uses to illustrate his points make clear the problems with the idea that fire from jet fuel caused the buildings to collapse. I am hosting shows of his DVD to friends and associates. In speaking to friends and family about the building collapses, I was shocked to find the number of people who cannot cross the psycholigical barrier to accept that high officials of the US government could have allowed the collapses to happen or even have planned and executed the event. Gage presents his evidence so clearly and convincingly that no logic person could see it and believe that fire from jet fuel could have caused it. When you think then about the fact that a demolition company must have gained access to the building with many workers and much equipment over time to do it, and that it was coordinated with the failure of NORAD, which must have been arranged from high level officials, then it gives one pause. A number of people have told me they don't want to see, don't want to know and wouldn't believe it even if somebody presented incontrovertible evidence. Those people I leave alone. I show the dvd to those who are willing to suspend disbelief. I support ae911truth.

The disintegration of the towers in 10 seconds defies belief. The structural core would have to be pre-cut and shaped charges installed to accomplish this feat. Most of the world rejects the N.I.S.T explanation as do many of your citizens. We the world wonder why more money was spent on Clinton's sex life than the crime of the century. Since this event plunged us into the so-called war on terror and illegal invasion of sovereign states, it behooves the creation of an international team of scientists, demolition experts, engineers, architects and detective forces to uncover the truth.
