PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

An object falling to earth at free fall speed, by definition, does not encounter resistance along the way. The rigid structure of interconnected columns, beams, and girders provide substantial resistance to physical forces. Indeed, that is their function. This is one of many reasons why I feel a new, independent investigation is necessary. The ramifications from the events of that day are enormous for the people of the world. It is our duty to strive for the truth.

ONE steel building collapsing concentrically...very unlikely. TWO falling on their own footprint...ridiculous! THREE, on the same day in the same place? IMPOSSIBLE. For the first time in history 3 steel skeleton structures collapse for, supposedly due to some fires. But the fires are so small that they are only visible here & there. If the fires were so hot, the glass would have melted/shattered long before the steel making the so-called inferno clearly visible at every opening all around the buildings. The damage due to the planes was eccentric, so why was the collapse concentric? How did 3 steel buildings, allegedly in a condition of unstable static equilibrium, collapse in stable dynamic equilibrium? IMPOSSIBLE. I put aside all the ways in which it might have been done, Modern explosives placed at critical points would have done it. But put that all aside: The fact is that they were brought down; the physics & structural principles are incontrovertible. The method & reasons etc can be nutted out later. The 'squibs' which are officially claimed to be dust/smoke exhausting have too high a velocity for pumping exhaust...they emit at the velocity of explosive shock waves, equally all the way around. Just one other structural observation: At the Pentagon one evidence was supposed to be the bent over light-poles...so neatly leaning; from a 500mph aircraft impact?! Those light-poles would have been folded at the impact point, ripped out and left in a mangled mess some hundreds of metres away! So they were either toppled by small charges, or pulled over by ropes tied to a truck (the previous evening?). There is more structural observations I could make, but the above have not been stressed enough on your site, hence my comments. Please update your site to include/emphasize the above observations. After watching the twin tower collapses live I wondered to myself where all of the energy came from to cause such rapid collapses. At the time I did not know how the buildings were designed and also heard a few days later about a civil engineering professor saying there was a 30g dynamic load. This was probably Dr. Bazant of Northwestern University. I somewhat accepted this but still wondered. After hearing about Dr. Steven Jones bringing up issues with molten metal in the rubble in early 2006 I decided I should read his paper. I found it on the Internet and after reading it started looking much harder at those collapses myself. Unfortunately, there is little doubt that the collapses were caused by controlled demolitions and it appears the aircraft impacts were causal ruses.

I have little engineering experience outside of school and I am excited to start building energy and transportation systems, inexpensive and efficient housing, and agricultural machines. I have a minor in physics and I had excellent professors in statics, mechanics of materials, and material science.
Where do you start? If a plane hit the pentagon, why wont they release a video which shows this. There certainly should have been more plane parts in shanksville and the pentagon. Even if the fire was hot enough to melt the metal of the plane, where are the tons of molten metal? Building 7 is obvious demolition. The biggest inconsistency with building 7 and the towers is that stress would have been concentrated where the planes hit or where the fires were buring, however fracture does not occur at this stress concentration but rather at the base of the structures.

All three WTC buildings fell at free-fall speed into their own footprints, classic intentional demolition via internally set explosives. Building 7 collapsed without significant damage from planes, or other obvious external sources. Several first responders including firemen reported explosions in building 1 and 2, including in the basements, prior to the collapse events. Combined with the prodigious volume of fine-grained dust (blown outward from the buildings, and the smoking gun of thermite residue analyzed from metal girder samples, plus persistent pools of molten metal beneath rubble (kerosene jet fuel cannot melt steel), highly suggest the intention demolition of WTC high-rise office buildings independent of external damage caused by aircraft collisions. The mainstream explanation of the WTC demolitions cannot explain away the above observations. A politically independent panel of experts must be convened to finally expose the truth of what happened to the WTC on 9-11-2001.

In my opinion, the probability of bringing three buildings down with two planes hitting in random locations is nil. The energy of impact combined with the potential heat energy stored in the fuel was mostly dissipated in the first few minutes leaving only the potential energy of the structure itself. The result should have been a gaping hole in two buildings and burnt out floors in another. What we saw instead defies the laws of physics and common sense.

Specialized in the design of hi-rise buildings using computer models including finite element analysis and beam-column analysis. Responsible for calculating all wind, earthquake, dead load, and live loads and specifying the required steel, concrete, and combination members as a result of the governing loads.
I read the NIST report and do not agree with their input load criteria. I also find it impossible that steel would become molten at the temperatures reached by burning of jet fuel. I believe nano-thermite or some other explosives must have been used. Regardless of WTC 1 and 2, nothing in the official story explains how WTC 7 failed. The use of the term 'pulled' is self explanatory in my opinion. This was clearly a controlled demolition.

I've learned a lot about designing structures: all the elements that are taken into consideration at the time of design, including the 1.67 factor of safety multiplier. In my opinion, there is no conceivable way that the towers could have collapsed, much less in the manner in which they came down.

It seems apparent that the manner in which the towers fell was controlled, based upon the fact that none of the three experienced partial collapse. As far as I am aware, no other buildings have failed in this manner without intentional demolition, and to have three towers in one day fall in this way points to another cause.

Even the day of the atrocity, I marveled at how each of the buildings came down so cleanly. I was in school at the time, and the shock of what happened had us all aghast. I saw immediately the repercussions. So many more people would die. Our world would be forever changed. What I did not anticipate was the changes that took place in our own country. The 'Patriot' Act. The bloom of the NSA. The creation of the Department of Homeland Security. War was not only brought upon two foreign countries in the name of the dead, it was brought forth on the American people as well. Only for us the assailant was domestic. Make no mistake, it is not an overt war. There are no tanks in our streets. But our privacy is rapidly becoming an impossibility, our freedom is being converted to a system of rights and privileges that can be taken away from us at any time. In the name of all our founders fought and died for, I cannot sit idly by and watch this happen. Physics would not allow those buildings to fall like they did. I felt it twelve years ago watching the events unfold live and I feel it now. We must demand justice for those who have died, both on foreign soil and domestic, as a result of these heinous acts. Let's start with the most glaring anomaly. What brought down Building 7? And once we answer that, what brought down the tallest structures in the city in such a way that they completely collapsed on their own footprint, unbelievably minimizing what should have been horrific collateral damage?

Assessing what the expert structural engineers and building demolition experts have clearly demonstrated, with calculations and observations and my own engineering knowledge, my expertise in chemistry and explosives, I have to agree that building seven was demolished from the bottom. No fuel fire or random terrorist act will cause this type of controlled demolition. This is the result of carefully and expertly planned demolition by very competent professionals and explosives' experts. The same reasoning applies for the world trade center twin towers.

I vividly recall witnessing 9/11 CNN TV's premature announcement the building-7 had 'collapsed'. I did not believe what I was hearing then and to this day I still do not accept that WTC-7 'collapsed'. It is counter to all I know about the strength of modern steel structures. Such buildings do not free-fall even if struck by a jumbo jet. The physics of falling objects in earth's gravitational field do not allow building free-fall unless uniformly 'pulled down' with explosives.

I have been engaged in engineering, stress analysis, or managing stress analysis groups my entire 30 year career in aerospace.
In my experience with structural tests and analysis of strength capability I have never seen a structure just disintegrate or fail in an ordered sequence all of its structural members, joints, and fasteners from any type of thermal or mechanical load. This is exactly what happens, however, during building demolition events.Furthermore, the personal or professional accountability to understand the destruction of 3 towers on 9/11 requires more than just reading newspapers. It also requires the personal honesty to accept and acknowledge the discrepancy between the government statements and engineering data for steel, temperature, and history.

I've been on the list of AE for 9/11 Truth since its inception. I believe without a doubt that the 9/11 event was a planned event designed to arouse patriotism and gain public support for the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. I also suspect that building 7 was the command center for the controlled demolition of WTC towers 1 and 2. WTC 7 was always the smoking gun for me. There is no way that this building collapsed without weeks/months of previous preparation. 9/11 was a 'false flag' event; there is no question in my mind.
