PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I watched the destruction of the WTC from a hotel room in Vietnam. When the first building collapsed I at first did not realise what I had just witnessed. My wife said the tower collapsed and I replied by saying that was not possible. I was completely stunned. It was not until some time later that I began to seriously question the official narrative. Although suspicious, it was not until later that I started to review the collapse of the towers via the internet, and I can recall the first time I saw a video of the building 7 collapse. I understood immediately that it had to be controlled demolition. From some angles it just looked like a complete and structurally intact building had just fallen straight down against the backdrop of a largely clear sky. I particularly remember the reaction of the dutch demolition expert Danny Jowenko, he was completely incredulous.

I received my BS in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University in 1978. I worked initially for SSOE in Flint, MI before relocating to Burkett & Wong Engineers in San Diego in 1984. I never believed that it would be possible for foreign hijackers to take control of four planes and hit strategic and sensitive targets in New York and Washington with no authority/institution responsible for US defense stopping them. For the official 9/11 version to have taken place, those responsible for terrorism prevention and for defending the US must have put themselves to sleep - nay, into a coma - to facilitate and aid the attacks. The scientific case that has, since 2006, been built by A&E for 9/11 Truth speaks for itself. The nature of the collapse of the Twin Towers: the floors turning into dust and at the same time pulverizing the floors underneath them. The collapse of WTC 7 which experts clearly say was a controlled demolition - yet most people have never heard of what happened to WTC 7 on 9/11. This and much else calls for a new inquiry into the 9/11 attacks.

Without the aid of having done much research into the phenomena of the collapse of World Trade Centers 1 & 2, I have held a sense of surprise that the buildings essentially collapsed into their own footprints. It strikes me as unlikely that neither of the two towers would only partially collapse, partially fail or topple away rather than drop in identical fashion. During the 1993 bombing event, I was concerned for loved ones who worked in the financial district. Their workplaces were not in the towers themselves, but in the surrounding neighborhood. I was expecting the possibility of a toppling tower damaging or destroying several nearby buildings. The fact that not one, but two towers did not fall this way appears to be somewhat improbable. - - Further research has alerted me to the collapse of Building 7. How the events of the collapse of this building missed the sustained attention of 9/11 commission and the researchers from NIST seems to be without satisfactory explanation. This event alone should warrant further inquiry by all who are aware of it. - - Every day, there seems to be more evidence and revelations that do not square with the official explanation. In my mind, the official reports and studies seem inadequate at best.

It is obvious to a steadily increasing percentage of the population, particularly within the scientific community, that the Twin Towers, and absolutely WTC Building 7, were all brought down by controlled demolition. The evidence is absolutely overwhelming if you simply take the time to look into it - steel simply does not behave this way. The airplanes were used as a distraction to trick the public into thinking that 9/11 was a terrorist attack by Islamic Extremists. In fact, it was a staged operation, planned and executed for entirely different purposes- not the least of which were to initiate a highly profitable War onTerror, and to rid lower Manhattan of inefficient and unprofitable real estate. And this is only the tip of the iceberg in a long list of evidence disproving the official 9/11 account.

The towers were both wrapped in a massive steel grid. Both had 47 massive interlocked columns the entire height of their core. Every floor was built with steel. We are being told by the 'official' story that all that steel snapped simultaneously, floor by floor, 110 floors in 10 seconds. Try clapping your hands 110 times in 10 seconds. You'd be lucky to make it up to 50. Did you see 110 floors stacked on top of each other after the towers disintegrated? No, you saw powder, several inches thick, spread out over 75 acres. The only engineering or scientific knowledge I have is from the US public education system and my own general interest in science and physics.
I don't understand how two airplanes can crash into two buildings designed to sustain airplane crashes, in two separate places and times and how that causes three buildings to fall in a way that expert demolition teams have to spend weeks preparing and have computers precisely detonate the explosives so the building doesn't topple over. If NIST is correct, they should be able to bring down a building using their new theory. The one that suggests that all engineers need to be reeducated on building safety and design. If they can, they will definitely sway my mind, but I don't think they can or will.

After recovering from the shock of seeing the Twin Towers collapse, on subsequent showings, I developed a strong feeling that what I was seeing and what I was being told were quite different things. For two such buildings to collapse, in the manner they did, solely because they had been hit by large aircraft, did not make sense. The collapses were too uniform. If aircraft impacts were the cause, at least one of the buildings should have fallen over. I subsequently made a video called WTC7 -- This is an Orange to express my concern that the public was not being told the truth about 9/11.

Thanks to Richard's lecture, the truth about the collapses have been revealed. It is obvious that the fire hypotheses cannot explain the destruction as we've seen it. I am a concerned citizen, who is unable to resolve the anomalies of the official truth of 9-11 with what I observed happening on that day. I am not a professional architect, but nothing of the truth about airliners hitting the buildings and destroying them makes sense to me.
I was raised in the Chicago Suburbs, and in the western suburb of Villa Park was the Ovaltine Factory (OK, I can only *hope* that you remember Ovaltine from your childhood, a malted-milk additive to milk that made your glass of milk taste like a malted-milk ball). In any case, the Ovaltine factory was closed long ago, the area built up with condos, and the one lone remaining vestige of the factory that bustled throughout the 1960's was the smokestack. Collapses seem to me to be from explosions and not from fires. There seems compelling evidence that there is another explanation for what actually happened that there may be a cover-up.

I have no specific technical education or experience, no more than the regular physics and chemistry classes of a regular Belgian high school. I then went on to study law at the Brussels' university (VUB) and am now working as a lawyer at the Brussels' bar since 2002. I have always considered myself, and my friends and family have confirmed this (and still do), to be a very rational person, with a critical and even a skeptical mind, which has been reinforced by my studies and my professional experience as a lawyer.
Up until a few days ago, I had never doubted the 'official' version of 9/11. It is the video of David Ray Griffin that opened my eyes. He explains the various aspects in a way that is very familiar to me as a lawyer (facts, proof,...), so that - if you think rationally about it - you simply can no longer accept the 'official' version because it goes against all laws (of physics and other). I went to Richard Gage's conference in Belgium where I heard even more anomalies as to the official version. The fact that this changes your view of life, of what men are capable of, of the world entirely, made me sign the petition. 9/11 was indeed huge, but not for the reasons most people think. People have the right to know the truth.

Upon learning of the WTC towers with the planes crashing into the two high rises and bursting into flames, my first reaction was this is not good as the fires were at such a high level in the building for fire fighters and the people at the upper floor levels will be hard to evacuate, but I never expected the buildings to collapse.

I think the building was not totaled by the plane because I have seen footage that looks like there are explosions like a controlled demolition. Plus I have heard many testimonies that show the explosions heard and the witnessing of the buildings collapsing were not possible to be caused by a fire. I have read that it is not possible for a building to fall like that from fire. Plus people were standing in the holes where the planes went in and they were not burning up so that means it could not be that hot. The evidence is overwhelming and there is definitely a cover up happening.
