PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have built houses in 3 countries and been part of high rise condo buildings and we in the field know that if a plane hit a condo, it wouldn't fall like that. And these are made out of reinforced concrete, some steel (in comparison) and is built in a developing country (so not as advanced)!!

A building that under no circumstances could have had the light weight fuselage of an airline jet cut a nice neat entrance through three rings of reinforced concrete while the engine mounted wings failed to break a single window on either side of the entrance hole.

I had his eyes opened to the truth about Sept 11, 2001 in the summer of 2007. The very first video I watched of it was the Youtube video of Kevin Cosgrove, who was on I believe, the 100th floor, and died while on the phone with dispatcher on 9/11. This video provoked me to investigate Sept 11, 2001. With my own eyes I can see a controlled demolition. Buildings do not fall at free fall speed without the use of explosives. Too many unanswered questions by the 9/11 Commission Report and a host of other discrepancies are proof of a government cover-up.
The architects of the World Trade Center designed the buildings to absorb the impact of a crashing jetliner because that was an obvious structural design imperative in Manhattan. The designers of the buildings always confidently maintained that they would remain structurally secure from collapse under those circumstances. Frank a. Demartini, Manager, WTC Construction & Project management has testified to the fact that the buildings at the World Trade Center should have been able to sustain multiple jumbo jet impacts without threatening the structural integrity of the buildings' steel-reinforced frames: 'I believe that the building probably could sustain multiple impacts of jetliners because this structure is like mosquito-netting on your screen door'this intense grid. And the jet plane is just a pencil puncturing that screen netting. It really does nothing to the screen netting.' Detailed structural analysis of the Twin Towers determined that: 'The buildings have been investigated and found to be safe in an assumed collision with a large jet airliner [Boeing 707-DC 8] traveling at 600 miles per hour. Analysis indicates that such collision would result in only local damage which could not cause collapse or substantial damage to the building and would not endanger the lives and safety of occupants not in the immediate area of impact.'

I am a medical animator and am drawn to the 9/11 discussion partly because a lot of the evidence available to the public is in the form moving images, which is my passion. Of course, I am also quite concerned with the spiritual, political, social, and economic ramifications of the events and want to see a much better investigation.
I think the NIST WTC7 report that just came out at the end of 2008 is a total sham for a variety of reasons, including: not looking at a single piece of physical evidence, not following up at all on FEMA's report of a sever corrosion attack that liquefied steel in which they specifically stated that more study was needed, not following several pertinent NFPA guidelines, not verifying their hypothesis experimentally (their computer model did not come anywhere close to matching the total observed collapse), not seriously studying any controlled demolition hypothesis but having the nerve to pretend like they did, not making any attempt to explain how free fall was possible without the lower structure being removed by some other force, and for wasting everybody's time with presenting thermal expansion (unverifiable, unprecedented, and unlikely) as fact. There must be a new investigation!!

No plane footage at the PENTAGON, the most secure building in western world? & no plane? BBC newsreader reporting collapse of WTC building 7, 23 minutes BEFORE it collapsed? WTC building 7 collapsing? All evidence of an inside job. Examining everything else from this moment on, told by the government elicited further suspicions & more questions? Within 2 weeks a prog aired on UK tv Channel 4, illustrating in detail, using sophisticated graphics HOW & WHY the towers collapsed? What was the need for such an elaborate explanation almost immediately after such a shocking event? WHO was saying it was otherwise? 2 steel buildings pulverized, turning concrete to dust, yet a paper passport (of suspect?) found at the scene of the crime? Financial stock market anomalies proved inside knowledge prior to event. The catalog of errors by USA Air force, pentagon staff & security failures on the day is UNBELIEVABLE. Examining ALL evidence available on the internet, & details of the 9-11 commission report is overwhelming proof of a government cover up. WHAT are they covering up & WHY? & WHY would a 'suicide' bomber take a passport on an internal flight, where none was required? Video evidence of the collapse clearly shows a series of explosions all the way down, proceeding the collapsing structure. What is the white substance pouring out of the building? & THE most revealing & significant evidence of an inside job is Larry Silverstein, owner of WTC admitting on tv, WTC building 7 was PULLED! By WHO & HOW? This would take weeks of planning & preparation. Are we to believe a 'group' run in the building & rigged it for a controlled demolition, in a few hours, on the day the world stood still? If 'their' conspiracy theory is to be believed, they would want to be as 'transparent' as possible with NO reason to edit or omit ANYTHING. Until today i see NO evidence, to corroborate anything the USA government has claimed.

I'm probably not the most qualified to interpret the dynamics involved in the destruction of the three towers. However I have been studying this issue for some time, and currently writing a persuasive essay regarding the false pretenses, and faulty investigation. To say the least I'm very dedicated to this subject.
I believe that there are many faults in the current diagnosis for the collapsing of all three towers. The way the towers fell don't fit the criteria involved with the conclusion we were granted. The official story that was issued is just that, a far fetched cover up that needs to be exposed for what it is.

I am a man in his early 60's and had many experiences and jobs in this life. Common sense tells me there is a smoking gun and 911 is only one example of blatant misuse of trust and authority by those who pretend to serve the needs of the people while in truth are corrupt and without conscience. It is truly time for a positive dialogue and independent investigation.
It is a known fact that Jet fuel can not reach temperatures hot enough to melt steel. Also the reports of explosions heard by rescuers on floors below where they had climbed after the plane crash leads me to believe there is more to this story.

I do not have a degree or anything on technical education or have any experience. I am a concerned citizen that would like to see the investigation reopened.
After doing quite a bit of research, I feel that there are a lot of questions that have never been answered. I read the 9/11 Commissions Report and was very disappointed with the lack of information. I feel there were explosives in the bldgs, because of bldg 7 and the constant reference to hearing explosions from people on the day of the tragedy, amongst other things.
