PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

In my opinion, the official investigations of the causes of the WTC collapses were not conducted in accordance with established, standardized methodology. These investigations did not actually 'conclude' anything regarding the specific circumstances and causes of the collapses; the point of conducting the investigations in the first place. The investigations did not accomplish what they were designed to accomplish. As a professional investigator with three decades of experience, I immediately began to question why these investigations were so poorly executed. I am not an engineer or an architect, but I do know what constitutes a thorough, comprehensive, professionally conducted investigation. What the government refers to as its investigations do not meet that bar and I am compelled to ask why.

Ironically, this same statement made by Newton, which would later become Three Laws, guided civilization without fault for over 300 years until 9/11. These Laws faulted on that day not because of an error in Newton's calculations, but because civilization chose to ignore them. I cannot, however, as to do so would be to brazenly disregard the physics on which our society is built. The government's explanation and public's currently held view regarding the collapse of WTC 1, 2, and 7 does not fully take into account Newton's Three Laws of Motion. In every other aspect of our profession, Architects and Engineers have a civic duty to use these Laws to keep the public safe. 9/11 should be no exception.

In the shocking moments of the collapse, my first reaction to the building failure was that there was no way 2 separate steel buildings struck by a plane could possibly come straight down completely pulverized and then a third building nearly unscathed suffer an identical failure. I feel that the media effectively force-fed the population a misconstrued version of the story. With all the horror and fear and confirmation from experts and eventually war, even I began to replace my initial reaction and knowledge with the thought that stranger things have happened even in the world of engineering. But more so; what would the horrible truth implicate and how would a nation react? Let us not forget that even the Pentagon damage raises questions. Nonetheless; as a member of the engineering society whose duty is to the safety of the public, I believe that too many people have died and too many provocative questions have been dismissed for us to ignore the need for a genuine investigated.

My personal experience has included the consideration of peak particle velocities in relation to explosives used underground and their likely impact on neighboring buildings, together with the risk of settlement when tunneling in urban areas. Bank vaults are usually ultra sensitive (in alarm terms) to vibration from explosives that can be some distance away. Was any bank vault alarm data from nearby buildings available and analyzed to corroborate exact timings of possible explosive use in the buildings before the main collapses? I am convinced from the available evidence that these collapses were assisted by the use of explosives and/or thermite.

I'm a retired Marine Engineer, having sailed on merchant ships for over 25 years. Prior to that I worked in the construction industry as a cement mason and am familiar with and have worked installing and finishing concrete flooring on Q decking which is the name we used for the metal sheets that the concrete was poured on (as was in the 3 WTC buildings).
We are being told not to believe what we see, especially with the collapse of building # 7 which went completely down in almost a total free fall. I'm somewhat familiar with the work of David Ray Griffin but found it so frustrating that more people didn't take notice or get involved. Now that Richard Gage has gotten involved and is getting a league of qualified Architects & Engineers behind him I hope that this vital cause can move forward and we can get a real investigation.

From recent studies and evidence, I feel it is necessary to re-open the 9/11 investigation. Too much information was overlooked and under-investigated and covered up. Too many people heard a series of explosions and the Building # 7 was a definite implosion, nothing related to the Twin Towers. The vertical throwing of steel beams in the Twin Towers is evidence of explosions beyond the power of jet fuel. Visual evidence shows explosive action below the jet impact. Something is wrong with the investigations of NIST and FEMA. Experienced fire fighters and people familiar with explosives contradict what NIST and FEMA report.

It is impossible to accept Building-7 as a spontaneous collapse defying the laws of physics, and disregarding all of the foreknowledge evidence. The fire in the South tower could not possibly have voided the redundant steel frame structure 800 to 1,000 feet below the area of combustion. The vertical core columns in the North tower would have slowed down and stopped the progression of collapse at some point, not near free fall!

I have seen many, many videos of the buildings falling and throughout all of them, all over you can see evidence of actual explosions traveling all the way down to the base of the towers. In wtc 7 you can see an arc in the middle of the building blowing out the structure support before the whole thing comes down. I'm also curious about Larry Silverstiens pull it statement to demolish it. He says the pull it was for firefighters to get out because it might fall. However all the firefighters had all cleared out at 11:30 a.m that day while the building fell at around 5. Why would he lie about this?

My education is primarily in social and political movements of 20th Century California. I studied flashpoints throughout the 60s, shifting my focus from direct action as an undergrad, to the symbolic resistance and radical aesthetic of youth culture as a grad student. Unable to sit still, I opted out of specialization and headed overseas. I was as distraught as every other American to watch the towers go down. I was confused and outraged at the audacity of the attack, however I soon found my anger misplaced as many obvious questions were being ignored by officials and/or simply not asked by the Press Corps. I've lost many friends suggesting that attack was an inside job, with me be written off as a conspiratorial nutcase. I have hope and faith, however, that the tide is turning. Intellectuals in all the right fields are stepping forward with questions and evidence that can't be ignored. Not for much longer, that is.
