To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Building 7 did not collaps due to normal office fires. In Spain and China skyscrapers did not collaps, eventhough the fire was much worse. Don't tell me that american engineers don't know how to construct buildings properly, because I would not believe you. Did building 7 collaps because of shoddy construction work?I doubt it! The authorities would never allow that. We need an investigation!

Seems to me that since explosives had been planted in WTC towers before 9/11 and the fact that the WTC 9/11 plane crashes weren't random (the towers were the target). It seems quite logical that some additional explosives were planted within the towers via insider or security breach to increase destructive impact of attack on towers.

I am a mechanical engineer with 28 years of engineering experience. I have approximately 20 years of experience in the nuclear power industry. I was involved with the development of the corrective actions department for Cooper Nuclear Station. I had extensive training in root cause investigations. I was involved in numerous investigations to determine failure mechanisms and contributing factors.
I performed a simple energy analysis that can be performed by anyone who has taken high school physics or mathematics. The calculation shows WTC 1 & 2 did not contain sufficient potential energy to cause a progressive gravitational collapse. My calculation takes the entire mass of the building and distributes it evenly on every floor. This is overly conservative since the mass per floor is greater at the bottom because of the heavier structural columns. I also did not deduct any mass for any material that fell outside of the building footprint. Only material falling within the footprint of the building could have caused damage to a lower portion of the building. The energy of material that damaged surrounding buildings was not available to damage lower portions of the WTC 1 or 2. The energy calculation was based on the building material releasing its potential energy (the only energy available for destruction) by falling all the way down to ground level. The pulverized concrete released its energy very slowly as it drifted to the ground and was not available to destroy any building structure below it. - - My calculation shows that if all of the potential energy contained within the Tower was transferred to all of the surface area of all of the Tower floors, they would only be subject to 1,200 ft-lb/sq-in. Hardly enough to pulverize all the concrete let alone destroy all the structural steel columns and supports. This is why structural steel buildings do not simply fall due to gravity alone. Additional energy had to be involved to cause the destruction that was observed. Controlled demolition is the only possible explanation. The laws of nature cannot be violated. - - The WTC 7 free fall also violates the laws of nature.

At first I could not believe that the world trade center buildings 1 and 2 were taken down by demolitions, but after doing my research, seeing several documentaries on general demolitions I began to compare the collapse of building 7 to the footage of normal building demolitions. As I continued to research the events of 9/11 it became clear to me that there needs to be a serious independent study of the events and the collapse of buildings 1, 2 and 7. Now, there is no question in my mind that all three building were taken down by controlled demolitions. One question that I did have in the following days of 9/11 was the statement that all steel was being sent to China, having grown up in a steel town in Ohio, I couldn't imagine that the steel would not have been kept for investigation.

I'm a retired Marine Engineer, having sailed on merchant ships for over 25 years. Prior to that I worked in the construction industry as a cement mason and am familiar with and have worked installing and finishing concrete flooring on Q decking which is the name we used for the metal sheets that the concrete was poured on (as was in the 3 WTC buildings).
We are being told not to believe what we see, especially with the collapse of building # 7 which went completely down in almost a total free fall. I'm somewhat familiar with the work of David Ray Griffin but found it so frustrating that more people didn't take notice or get involved. From recent studies and evidence, I feel it is necessary to re-open the 9/11 investigation. Too much information was overlooked and under-investigated and covered up. Too many people heard a series of explosions and the Building # 7 was a definite implosion, nothing related to the Twin Towers. The vertical throwing of steel beams in the Twin Towers is evidence of explosions beyond the power of jet fuel. Visual evidence shows explosive action below the jet impact. Something is wrong with the investigations of NIST and FEMA. Experienced fire fighters and people familiar with explosives contradict what NIST and FEMA report.

It is impossible to accept Building-7 as a spontaneous collapse defying the laws of physics, and disregarding all of the foreknowledge evidence. The fire in the South tower could not possibly have voided the redundant steel frame structure 800 to 1,000 feet below the area of combustion. The vertical core columns in the North tower would have slowed down and stopped the progression of collapse at some point, not near free fall!

I have seen many, many videos of the buildings falling and throughout all of them, all over you can see evidence of actual explosions traveling all the way down to the base of the towers. In wtc 7 you can see an arc in the middle of the building blowing out the structure support before the whole thing comes down. I'm also curious about Larry Silverstiens pull it statement to demolish it. He says the pull it was for firefighters to get out because it might fall. My education is primarily in social and political movements of 20th Century California. I studied flashpoints throughout the 60s, shifting my focus from direct action as an undergrad, to the symbolic resistance and radical aesthetic of youth culture as a grad student. Unable to sit still, I opted out of specialization and headed overseas. In the years since 2004, I have been working as a high school teacher in Temecula and Oceanside, Ca, I traveled across South America and I am currently teaching English with my wife in Taiwan. I was as distraught as every other American to watch the towers go down. I was confused and outraged at the audacity of the attack, however I soon found my anger misplaced as many obvious questions were being ignored by officials and/or simply not asked by the Press Corps. I've lost many friends suggesting that attack was an inside job, with me be written off as a conspiratorial nutcase. I have hope and faith, however, that the tide is turning. Intellectuals in all the right fields are stepping forward with questions and evidence that can't be ignored. Not for much longer, that is.
