PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have been a practicing electronics hardware engineer in the tech field in Silicon Valley ever since receiving a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara. Though the BSEE ultimately focuses on electronics, electronic devices, and materials, like most engineering degrees it also requires significant background study in physics, mechanics, and mathematics to sufficiently ground the recipient in the general discipline of engineering.
You hardly need college physics to show that the mechanics of NIST's collapse model doesn't fit the evidence collected on that day. A simple conservation of energy problem (taught in most high school treatments of mechanics) suffices. Take the twin towers for example: if the tops of the buildings accelerated towards the ground at the rate of free-fall, which I believe has been adequately established through video and seismic analysis, it follows that all of their stored gravitational potential energy is being expended accelerating their mass towards the surface of the earth. From whence came the energy responsible for dismantling the steel support structure below the falling mass then? How can one source of potential simultaneously be totally expended in the acceleration of mass earthward while also providing the energy to pulverize hundreds of thousands of tons of structural steel and concrete? It simply can't... and that's one of many reasons why NIST's explanation is totally unacceptable.

I have been involved in commercial construction and residential construction. I understand how strong steel and concrete are and it is almost impossible to pulverize concrete to dust. Also cutting steel beams at a 45 degree angle naturally is impossible.
There are many issues with the accounts of that day starting with our president hearing about it and almost looking sheepish and embarrassed like a kid who has lied or is hiding something. The facts have never been explained. How did building 7 collapse like it did no planes hit it? How could steel beams be cut like butter at a 45 degree angle (like controlled demolitions) Why are no good camera angles available of the pentagon? How could 3 non pilots hit a bulls eye of three buildings in other words 3 for 3 with no experience? Especially hitting the Pentagon we did not scramble aircraft and the alleged plane was almost touching the ground before hitting the building.

I spent some 7 years in the Mechanical Building Trade, and although my work never entailed work involving a high rise, it did entail the understanding of retrofits. I was also attending classes held by the GBCA in Philadelphia and working towards my license. I had been a car buff and played with jet fuel, which I knew burned rapidly. I also knew a demolition expert that had worked for our military, who explained, How charges were set to implode a building, much as Americans had watched happen to other buildings scheduled at some point in time. He was a manager of a hedge fund for Alliance Capital Management, a firm with close ties to PNAC. Research then revealed Alliance was one of the firms involved in the transactions of airline and other stocks effected by the attacks. I am most interested in what I call the psychology of non-perception. That is, a study of how and why people resist or deny the seeing the obvious, that this was a false flag operation, like so many others, to initiate a war under false pretenses.

For nearly 8 years, I dismissed all the 911 conspiracy theories, and the media, especially from the right (formerly Republican), made it seem Un-American to question this tragic event as anything but a terrorist manifestation. However, after having more time on my hands, I did some research and realized this had to be a controlled demolition. The empirical evidence is not only indisputable in my opinion, but it also only requires some common sense to come to this conclusion. Even if I were to accept the theories, I could not possibly apply these to Bldg 7. I now know how, My only question is WHY?

We need to re-evaluate the truth about the World Trade Center and the unnatural way in which all three buildings fell. The witness' saw and heard explosions and there was evidence that they fell as the result of a controlled demolition. A lot of people died and a lot of families were destroyed. We owe it to them to know the REAL truth. There are people out there that know a lot more than I do about construction and demolition and they say that those buildings did not fall as the result of fire. We are being lied to. I believe them.

I have read David Ray Griffin's The New Pearl Harbor, and have watched many shows and DVDs on this subject. I feel that there are many unanswered questions in the collapse of WTCs 1 & 2, and especially WTC7, which was not hit by a plane. The fact that the collapses occurred at nearly freefall speed, and that for months after, there was molten steel in the basements of both of the Twin Towers, leads me to believe something more than two airliners striking the buildings brought about their collapses.

The Twin Towers could not have fallen like they did because of the fires only and had to have had help. Also, there are too many strange occurrences surrounding this event that need to be researched and explained. If nothing else, the collapse of Building Number 7 can't be explained by the fire and it takes weeks to research and plan the explosives to bring a building down like that and can't be done on short notice. Furthermore, no high-rise steel building in the history of the world has collapsed like the Twin Towers did even with worse and more widespread fires than the Towers suffered. Too much needs to be explained. And with over 700 professionals who agree that the official story can't be the real explanation, we need a new inquiry into the events of 9/11.

I have never seen a more well-executed, controlled demolition of a building than Building #7. I watched the destruction of the Towers on TV as it occurred that terrible morning. And I later saw films of this on TV and the internet. The first time I saw it, I intuitively knew that there was something 'wrong' about it; something 'off'. When I heard about A&E911 on a talk show, I looked you up on the internet and heard your explanation of what happened on the internet, I immediately knew that what you were proposing was absolutely correct.

I need to know the truth about the WTC building collapses. I couldn't believe the fire theory because jet fuel burns at half the temperature required to melt structural steel, and no steel-supported building has ever been brought down by fire alone, even after many hours of raging flames. These buildings came down with little flame, after only a few minutes, and where did all that molten steel come from, and why only dust (no chunks of concrete or building pieces)?

I was watching the Today Show when the 1st plane struck the tower. At that point, I thought it was a strange accident. Minutes later, when the 2nd plane hit, I knew this was no accident. I left my house to take my 2 children home. One was in middle school, and the other in a very large overcrowded high school. I didn't know exactly what was happening, but I did know I wanted the children home. Thankfully, I got to both before their schools were placed on lockdown. Once that occurred, no one could enter or leave the school. As I watched the buildings burn, I kept thinking that the towers would fall over, causing even more death and destruction. How surprised I was to see the towers collapse on themselves. I'm no scientist, engineer, or architect, but that surely was not possible. I've always thought it was an inside job and a controlled demolition. Why was all that steel removed so quickly? This should have been considered a crime scene and be treated as such. It is absolutely appalling.

From the number of books and articles I've read on this horrible day in our country's history, there are too many discrepancies, too many contradictions between the official record, actual evidence, eyewitness statements, and expert findings related to the buildings that fell, among other occurrences of that day. As the 911 Commission did not appear to address some of these discrepancies and accounts, it is imperative that an independent body made up of professionals (not government officials) reopen this investigation.

I've reasoned that this incident was most likely the latest and last attempt to anger the American people enough to get their cooperation to go to war in the Mid-east, the same as FDR did by allowing the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I've listened to the arguments on both sides and the rapidity with which the debris was gotten rid of and the fact that the board assigned to do the inquiry into the collapse didn't come up with a reason led me to read some independent professional comments and analysis of the situation. It made me skeptical. Incendiary residue in dust? Wreckage removed as fast as possible? Melted iron wreckage sent to China? No diversity of opinion in official report? The fact that the welded steel cores of these buildings, that had a safety factor of 3 to 5 times the required strength, MELTED in 56 minutes? Then the buildings fell straight down? All these statements strain credibility! A snow job of monumental proportions.

I am not a technical educated person, I have worked in the WTC as a secretary, and was aware of all the security in the building. I had to show my ID every time I went from one area to another or from one floor to the next. You did not go straight up on any elevator either.
I did not think this building would fall the way it did, and so quickly. Friends and myself have discussed this over and over, and we did not think this could happen. Especially since the building was hit on top, there would be a fire, but for the building to come down so quickly, we did not think this would be possible. There was definitely something amiss here.
