PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I studied subjects like: Steel structures, Concrete structures, General dimensioning and structural analysis, Wooden structures, Housing construction, Road construction and design, Water supply, sewage and waste management, and also other subjects, including of course university level mathematics, physics, and characteristics of structural building materials.Since graduation, I have worked for some time with general road design, but mainly with planning and design of public transport systems, facilities for bus systems and terminals, and I have extensive experience in designing Light Rail systems.
The way the twin towers collapsed is not consistent with general knowledge of steel and concrete structures. If a building were to collapse, the rubble would have been multiple layers of concrete floors on the ground, not an enormous cloud of pulverized concrete dust. The tremendous dimensions, and thus strength of the steel columns used in this structure, is sufficient to hold three or four times the actual weight of the structure. There is no way these would either bend nor break in a collapse under normal circumstances. To do this, they had to be subject to very large and rapid quantities of energy (heat), throughout the whole vertical structure, almost simultaneously. As is the case in a controlled and carefully orchestrated demolition.

I have some experience on building and maintaining a steel structure because I worked on the viaduct of Millau for over three years. After viewing documentaries on internet and comparing the official version with facts, I started having doubts. I don't know much about material behaviors due to explosions and fire, but it is no big deal to understand what is true. A building with steel frame does not fall down because of fire. A building does not fall straight unless it is due to demolition, and does not fall at that speed. And where are the pancakes. How metal melted, and concrete turned to dust? And here are only few doubts I have on how the buildings fell. So many questions, so few true official answers.

I spent some 7 years in the Mechanical Building Trade, and although my work never entailed work involving a high rise, it did entail the understanding of retrofits. I was also attending classes held by the GBCA in Philadelphia and working towards my license. I had applied to Drexel University to continue my education in the architectural engineering program, but needed to put this future goal on the back burner for more demanding family needs. I am also the parent of a US Army soldier who provided our military with a body through my own selfless service by raising my Granddaughters to meet their needs.
From the very beginning of the destruction of the twin towers, I commented to those who would listen, that I felt it was NOT a terrorist action, but an inside plot to gain access to the middle east and boost the popularity of President Bush. I had been a car buff and played with jet fuel, which I knew burned rapidly. I also knew a demolition expert that had worked for our military, who explained, How charges were set to implode a building, much as Americans had watched happen to other buildings scheduled at some point in time. Am I the only person to find the collapse and DAYS of burning odd?

Our active 9/11 group has hosted Robert Bowman, David Ray Griffin, Cindy Sheehan, and in Sept., Kevin Ryan as speakers to enlighten and inform the local population. I have had an AE 911 Truth bumper sticker on my car for over a year. I just finished Hal Sisson's Modus Operandi, and though it is fiction, it sure offers a lot of plausible explanations for how 9/11 happened. I listened to Paul Zarembka recently on Guns and Butter, and wow, he has a lot to say as well. A lot of good information out there, people need to get it. Donating to NYC CAN to help their effort--how I wish the mainstream media would pay attention to that drama instead of the stupid crap they focus on! I have a very good understanding of how buildings are constructed and how they behave under the influence of outside forces. Most buildings are constructed with redundancies so that they don't collapse catastrophically.
It is virtually impossible for WTC building 7 to collapse as it did with the influence of sporadic fires. This collapse HAD to be planned. For the twin towers, it seems odd that both buildings came down the exact same way. Also, someone made a comment the buildings were designed to implode downward. For me more information is needed here because I don't design high rise structures but it would seem odd that engineers would design in a buildings destruction. That's why explosives are used.

' As a former fighter pilot, I regard the failure to intercept the first airliner on 9/11 prior to impact, as one of the worst derelictions of duty in the history of this nation. We routinely scramble fighters 80 to 100 times every year to intercept 'unknowns,' some even turning out to be flocks of birds or radar ghosts. An alert interceptor from FLORIDA could possibly have arrived in time to intercept the first airliner. I'm sure it would have broken the pilot's heart to shoot down an airplane full of people: the inevitability of its flightpath makes the math simple: they were going to die, drop them somewhere that minimizes additional deaths on the ground. An airliner switching off its transponder squawk, turning 180 degrees off course and failing to respond to radio calls, sets off alarms across the entire Eastern seaboard. Don't try to feed me the crap the media was spooning out, that Boeing 767's 'disappeared' from radar. Civil air traffic control routinely informs pilots of flocks of birds, which show up well on low-tech air traffic control radar even though their squawks lack airspeed and altitude telemetry, and NORAD TRACKS SCREWS DROPPED BY ASTRONAUTS IN SPACE. Failing to intercept an aircraft in these circumstances is equivalent to gunners smoking and joking on the deck of your ship watching kamikazes crash into it. That's just the first impact. Recall that at that moment, there were two or three other aircraft 180 degrees off course with transponders and radios off: CONFIRMED HOSTILES FLYING TOWARDS OUR NATION'S CAPITAL. National defense policies adhered to for decades require enough interceptors sitting strip alert 24 / 7 / 365, within striking distance of the world's most heavily defended target in the most powerful nation on earth, to get most of a *squadron* on station in the time available. And instead, several news crews perform the intercept successfully WITH HELICOPTERS; so we can watch on TV while it happens TWO MORE TIMES. Next you have two buildings collapsing symmetrically into their own footprints, in defiance of the laws of physics, after taking hits they were specifically designed to withstand. And then a third, that wasn't hit by anything. After that, we watch while for some 200 days firefighters pump water into the steaming wreckage, to cool down exactly what? YOU CAN'T MELT STEEL WITH KEROSENE, right? Black smoke means low-temperature, oxygen-starved combustion, right? Water from fire sprinklers will not extinguish a petroleum fire, fuel spills absent retardant generally burn until all the fuel is gone, right? Why do you suppose the steel scrap recovered from the debris was shipped off to CHINA as quickly as it could be loaded onto trucks and ships, while even routine analyses was FORBIDDEN, if only in the interest of discovering why this steel failed so remarkably--a failure unprecedented in the history of engineering? As a military man you could not look me in the eye and try to tell me that an operation the size of our invasion of Iraq was possible without planning begun more than a YEAR prior to 9/11. I don't give a damn about any 'conspiracy theories,' theories are not relevant to the dereliction, omissions and obviously preplanned fabrications associated with 9/11.

People think jet fuel must be hot if it can lift airplanes into the air, but in reality, it must burn inside a metallic engine without damaging it, so it doesn't burn hot enough to even melt structural steel. Most of the jet fuel hitting the twin towers flashed off on impact, leaving little left to finish off the towers. And what exactly was supposed to have caused world trade 7 to come down? There have been a few intense fires in steel frame buildings, and they all leave the frame standing when they're over. Fire cannot explain the near-instant collapse of world trade 7.

I received my high school diploma and graduated from St.Patrick's high school. Shortly after I started an apprenticeship with Local 95 Heat and Frost Insulators and I am currently attending my 3rd and final 6weeks of trade school which will move me from the level of apprentice to journeyman.
I highly doubt the official story about the WTC buildings for a number of reasons. 1) The fact that the buildings fell at nearly free fall speed encountering no resistance on the way down. 2) The buildings were built to withstand multiple plane impacts and the buildings still fell. 3) Jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt the structural steel and cause a sudden collapse. The jet fuel only has the capability of warping and bending the steel beams which in my opinion would not be enough to bring the buildings down SUDDENLY. 4) The concrete was completely pulverized suggesting the possibility of explosives being used. 5) Molten metal was seen by the first responders dripping down the steel beams like lava. Pools of molten metal were also found underneath the rubble of the towers. If a fire isn't hot enough to melt structural steel then what caused the molten metal?? Could it be some sort of an explosive? 6) Many interviews have been done with the first responders, and people who where there who said they heard explosions in the building before and during the WTC collapses. There is video evidence to prove this. Also a man named Willie Rodriguez who was a janitor in the basement levels of the towers heard explosions in the basement just a few seconds before the plane actually crashed into the building. You can find his videos online through Google or Youtube, just type in Willie Rodriguez. 7) Before 9/11 no steel framed structure has ever collapsed due to a fire. This would make the WTC buildings the 1st in history according the the commission report if it were true but I know it's not. And remember WTC building 7 was not hit by a plane and it still collapsed. 8) If the buildings collapsed by fire then why were steel beams thrown hundreds of feet away from the towers. In one case a steel beam was even lodged into a neighboring building. If it was a natural building collapse the beams would have fell straight down not across the street. The amount of force needed to throw a steel beam this far and lodge it into another building would have to great. My conclusion explosives were used. I'm not an architect. I'm not an engineer. I'm not a scientist or a physicist. I'm just an average JOE. Evidence of the truth is in plain sight and easy to understand if you are willing to open your mind. It doesn't take a great mind to see behind the lies of the commission report.

Having re-looked at the footage recently and thought about how buildings actually perform in the event of fire (regardless of cause), I realized that planes alone could not bring down / pulverize a building into dust! This is a simple fact. If you consider that all the floors below the plane strikes were untouched by fire or impact (the towers were built to withstand plane strikes)... their structural strength would be intact and therefore could NOT simply collapse.

For nearly 8 years, I dismissed all the 911 conspiracy theories, and the media, especially from the right (formerly Republican), made it seem Un-American to question this tragic event as anything but a terrorist manifestation. However, after having more time on my hands, I did some research and realized this had to be a controlled demolition. The empirical evidence is not only indisputable in my opinion, but it also only requires some common sense to come to this conclusion. Even if I were to accept the theories, I could not possibly apply these to Bldg 7. I now know how, My only question is WHY?

I do not have any technical nor professional experience in engineering or architecture. I am a regular person who has done a lot of research into the tragedy at the WTC. I am a 47 year old single mom to an eleven year old boy. I home school my son and run a small business. I was born, raised, and went to college in Los Angeles, Ca. We need to re-evaluate the truth about the World Trade Center and the unnatural way in which all three buildings fell. The witness' saw and heard explosions and there was evidence that they fell as the result of a controlled demolition. A lot of people died and a lot of families were destroyed. We owe it to them to know the REAL truth. There are people out there that know a lot more than I do about construction and demolition and they say that those buildings did not fall as the result of fire. We are being lied to. I believe them.

I have read David Ray Griffin's The New Pearl Harbor, and have watched many shows and DVDs on this subject. I feel that there are many unanswered questions in the collapse of WTCs 1 & 2, and especially WTC7, which was not hit by a plane. The fact that the collapses occurred at nearly freefall speed, and that for months after, there was molten steel in the basements of both of the Twin Towers, leads me to believe something more than two airliners striking the buildings brought about their collapses.

Just a concerned citizen who believes the evidence conflicts with the officially accepted story and that the American public both deserves and needs to know the truth behind what happened that day.
The Twin Towers could not have fallen like they did because of the fires only and had to have had help. Also, there are too many strange occurrences surrounding this event that need to be researched and explained. If nothing else, the collapse of Building Number 7 can't be explained by the fire and it takes weeks to research and plan the explosives to bring a building down like that and can't be done on short notice. Furthermore, no high-rise steel building in the history of the world has collapsed like the Twin Towers did even with worse and more widespread fires than the Towers suffered. Too much needs to be explained. And with over 700 professionals who agree that the official story can't be the real explanation, we need a new inquiry into the events of 9/11.

I have never seen a more well-executed, controlled demolition of a building than Building #7. I watched the destruction of the Towers on TV as it occurred that terrible morning. I need to know the truth about the WTC building collapses. I couldn't believe the fire theory because jet fuel burns at half the temperature required to melt structural steel, and no steel-supported building has ever been brought down by fire alone, even after many hours of raging flames. These buildings came down with little flame, after only a few minutes, and where did all that molten steel come from, and why only dust (no chunks of concrete or building pieces)?

I was watching the Today Show when the 1st plane struck the tower. At that point, I thought it was a strange accident. Minutes later, when the 2nd plane hit, I knew this was no accident. I left my house to take my 2 children home. One was in middle school, and the other in a very large overcrowded high school. I didn't know exactly what was happening, but I did know I wanted the children home. Thankfully, I got to both before their schools were placed on lockdown. Once that occurred, no one could enter or leave the school. As I watched the buildings burn, I kept thinking that the towers would fall over, causing even more death and destruction. How surprised I was to see the towers collapse on themselves. I'm no scientist, engineer, or architect, but that surely was not possible. I've always thought it was an inside job and a controlled demolition. Why was all that steel removed so quickly? This should have been considered a crime scene and be treated as such. It is absolutely appalling.

I am a professional in higher education administration, with over 25 years of experience in this area. I do not have technical expertise related to this call for an independent investigation, but I have read much on this subject. From an educated, layperson's perspective, there is a true need to create an independent committee to reopen the 9-11 investigation to resolve the many contradictions on what really took place on that terrible day.
From the number of books and articles I've read on this horrible day in our country's history, there are too many discrepancies, too many contradictions between the official record, actual evidence, eyewitness statements, and expert findings related to the buildings that fell, among other occurrences of that day. It is important for the American people to know the truth--it is our right. As the 911 Commission did not appear to address some of these discrepancies and accounts, it is imperative that an independent body made up of professionals (not government officials) reopen this investigation.

I've reasoned that this incident was most likely the latest and last attempt to anger the American people enough to get their cooperation to go to war in the Mid-east, the same as FDR did by allowing the bombing of Pearl Harbor. He had been trying to go to war with Germany for many months. By allowing Japan to attack us, he knew this would rile the public to his cause.

I've listened to the arguments on both sides and the rapidity with which the debris was gotten rid of and the fact that the board assigned to do the inquiry into the collapse didn't come up with a reason led me to read some independent professional comments and analysis of the situation. It made me skeptical. It was awfully suspicious how we conveniently went to war with Iraq with no real tangible reason and went to war with Bin Laden who had been our ally and had relatives in this country.

I am not a technical educated person, I have worked in the WTC as a secretary, and was aware of all the security in the building. I had to show my ID every time I went from one area to another or from one floor to the next. You did not go straight up on any elevator either.
I did not think this building would fall the way it did, and so quickly. Friends and myself have discussed this over and over, and we did not think this could happen. Especially since the building was hit on top, there would be a fire, but for the building to come down so quickly, we did not think this would be possible. There was definitely something amiss here.
