To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I can state with confidence that the building collapses which happen at free fall such as on 9/11 require the violent controlled destruction of the support structures in order to effect a complete collapse of the structures as occurred on 9/11/2001.

My concerns with the Twin Towers lie in the inconsistency with the method of collapse, i.e. a symmetric free fall collapse, when damage incurred was asymmetrical - one would anticipate a toppling of the upper tower. - - Tower 7's collapse is not at all consistent with the collateral damage it received - it's collapse was as well completely symmetrical and within its footprint that is difficult to rationalize from asymmetrical damage and fire. - - It is my opinion that the official story falls well short of explaining what happened on 9/11 and further investigation is required.

I am trained as an Electrical Engineer. I've worked for NASA and other companies designing control systems for mechanical motion control systems. This background in math and physics of motion have allowed me to do some technical inquiries into the dynamics of collapse of the WTC. To even explain the start of the collapse without explosives requires some far fetched ideas. There are lots of energy analyses to do that I have not seen done. How can multi-ton steel beams be ejected with enough force to embed themselves in buildings far away? What explains the symetry of the collapse? Uncontrolled phenomenon are seldom symetrical.

I'm presently a Senior Principal Design Engineer/Manager with over 24 years of broad industry experience in Product and Design Engineering. My initial year at engineering school exposed me to mechanical as well as civil engineering, although my concentration has been on electronic engineering. I've received over 10 US patents which relate to IC design.
It's my understanding that when a building has been destroyed by fire in the course of a crime, then forensic analysis must legally test for the use of accelerants. I believe NIST did not comply with this requirement and the only rigorous xray analysis of the steel ejected from this crime scene found strong evidence which supported the possibility that thermate was present. NIST's final conspiracy theory that thermal expansion was responsible for the collapse of WTC 7 - a new phenomenon. I also found out today that one of the eyewitnesses to explosive forces emanating from the basement of the Twin Towers, Kenny Johannemann, committed suicide - such testimony I feel was never fully considered by the 9/11 Commission and this evidence is rapidly disappearing, or worse, being swept under the carpet. I would like to see an independent inquiry into the unanswered questions regarding what really happened on 9/11 and full accountability of those who were complicit in the events of that day. I consider diversion of our nation's military to a bogus war in Iraq at the height of our nation's response to this attack with extreme suspicion.

(kerosene is the major component of jet fuel). While cooking using kerosene in the most efficient manner (hottest possible flames), the appliance was made of very thin steel and our vessels were also very thin. They did not melt or distort ever, even when used for hours. When I saw the collapse of Bldg. 7 (several years later) that clinched it for me.

For nearly 8 years, I dismissed all the 911 conspiracy theories, and the media, especially from the right (formerly Republican), made it seem Un-American to question this tragic event as anything but a terrorist manifestation. However, after having more time on my hands, I did some research and realized this had to be a controlled demolition. The empirical evidence is not only indisputable in my opinion, but it also only requires some common sense to come to this conclusion. Even if I were to accept the theories, I could not possibly apply these to Bldg 7. I now know how, My only question is WHY?

I do not have any technical nor professional experience in engineering or architecture. I am a regular person who has done a lot of research into the tragedy at the WTC. I am a 47 year old single mom to an eleven year old boy. I home school my son and run a small business. I was born, raised, and went to college in Los Angeles, Ca. We need to re-evaluate the truth about the World Trade Center and the unnatural way in which all three buildings fell. The witness' saw and heard explosions and there was evidence that they fell as the result of a controlled demolition. A lot of people died and a lot of families were destroyed. We owe it to them to know the REAL truth. There are people out there that know a lot more than I do about construction and demolition and they say that those buildings did not fall as the result of fire. We are being lied to. I believe them.

I have read David Ray Griffin's The New Pearl Harbor, and have watched many shows and DVDs on this subject. I feel that there are many unanswered questions in the collapse of WTCs 1 & 2, and especially WTC7, which was not hit by a plane. The fact that the collapses occurred at nearly freefall speed, and that for months after, there was molten steel in the basements of both of the Twin Towers, leads me to believe something more than two airliners striking the buildings brought about their collapses.

Just a concerned citizen who believes the evidence conflicts with the officially accepted story and that the American public both deserves and needs to know the truth behind what happened that day.
The Twin Towers could not have fallen like they did because of the fires only and had to have had help. Also, there are too many strange occurrences surrounding this event that need to be researched and explained. If nothing else, the collapse of Building Number 7 can't be explained by the fire and it takes weeks to research and plan the explosives to bring a building down like that and can't be done on short notice. Furthermore, no high-rise steel building in the history of the world has collapsed like the Twin Towers did even with worse and more widespread fires than the Towers suffered. Too much needs to be explained. And with over 700 professionals who agree that the official story can't be the real explanation, we need a new inquiry into the events of 9/11.

I have never seen a more well-executed, controlled demolition of a building than Building #7. I watched the destruction of the Towers on TV as it occurred that terrible morning. And I later saw films of this on TV and the internet. The first time I saw it, I intuitively knew that there was something 'wrong' about it; something 'off'. I need to know the truth about the WTC building collapses. I couldn't believe the fire theory because jet fuel burns at half the temperature required to melt structural steel, and no steel-supported building has ever been brought down by fire alone, even after many hours of raging flames. These buildings came down with little flame, after only a few minutes, and where did all that molten steel come from, and why only dust (no chunks of concrete or building pieces)?

I was watching the Today Show when the 1st plane struck the tower. At that point, I thought it was a strange accident. Minutes later, when the 2nd plane hit, I knew this was no accident. I left my house to take my 2 children home. One was in middle school, and the other in a very large overcrowded high school. I didn't know exactly what was happening, but I did know I wanted the children home. Thankfully, I got to both before their schools were placed on lockdown. Once that occurred, no one could enter or leave the school. As I watched the buildings burn, I kept thinking that the towers would fall over, causing even more death and destruction. How surprised I was to see the towers collapse on themselves. I'm no scientist, engineer, or architect, but that surely was not possible. I've always thought it was an inside job and a controlled demolition. Why was all that steel removed so quickly? This should have been considered a crime scene and be treated as such. It is absolutely appalling.

From an educated, layperson's perspective, there is a true need to create an independent committee to reopen the 9-11 investigation to resolve the many contradictions on what really took place on that terrible day.
From the number of books and articles I've read on this horrible day in our country's history, there are too many discrepancies, too many contradictions between the official record, actual evidence, eyewitness statements, and expert findings related to the buildings that fell, among other occurrences of that day. It is important for the American people to know the truth--it is our right. As the 911 Commission did not appear to address some of these discrepancies and accounts, it is imperative that an independent body made up of professionals (not government officials) reopen this investigation.

I've listened to the arguments on both sides and the rapidity with which the debris was gotten rid of and the fact that the board assigned to do the inquiry into the collapse didn't come up with a reason led me to read some independent professional comments and analysis of the situation. It made me skeptical. It was awfully suspicious how we conveniently went to war with Iraq with no real tangible reason and went to war with Bin Laden who had been our ally and had relatives in this country.

The collapse seemed too perfect, too clean a fall (when not including the extreme amount of dust). I had difficulty understanding why surrounding buildings did not fall from the catastrophic circumstances of the attack.

Incendiary residue in dust? Wreckage removed as fast as possible? Melted iron wreckage sent to China? No diversity of opinion in official report? The fact that the welded steel cores of these buildings, that had a safety factor of 3 to 5 times the required strength, MELTED in 56 minutes? Then the buildings fell straight down? All these statements strain credibility! A snow job of monumental proportions.

I am not a technical educated person, I have worked in the WTC as a secretary, and was aware of all the security in the building. I had to show my ID every time I went from one area to another or from one floor to the next. You did not go straight up on any elevator either.
I did not think this building would fall the way it did, and so quickly. Friends and myself have discussed this over and over, and we did not think this could happen. Especially since the building was hit on top, there would be a fire, but for the building to come down so quickly, we did not think this would be possible. There was definitely something amiss here.

I respect the position of many architects and engineers, as well as other technical professionals, who call for further investigation of how the towers collapsed. This is an important issue for our senators and representatives to thoroughly investigate in an independent manner.
