PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

It is without a doubt that the data presented in support of a controlled demolition warrants a complete and transparent hearing. WTC 7 lacks any reasonable explanation or evidence to support a collapse at the rate of a free falling object. It is essential that the scientific community be allowed to analyze the data from the three buildings and prove conclusively that explosives were used.

ONE steel building collapsing concentrically...very unlikely. TWO falling on their own footprint...ridiculous! THREE, on the same day in the same place? IMPOSSIBLE. For the first time in history 3 steel skeleton structures collapse for, supposedly due to some fires. But the fires are so small that they are only visible here & there. If the fires were so hot, the glass would have melted/shattered long before the steel making the so-called inferno clearly visible at every opening all around the buildings. The damage due to the planes was eccentric, so why was the collapse concentric? How did 3 steel buildings, allegedly in a condition of unstable static equilibrium, collapse in stable dynamic equilibrium? IMPOSSIBLE. I put aside all the ways in which it might have been done, Modern explosives placed at critical points would have done it. But put that all aside: The fact is that they were brought down; the physics & structural principles are incontrovertible. The method & reasons etc can be nutted out later. The 'squibs' which are officially claimed to be dust/smoke exhausting have too high a velocity for pumping exhaust...they emit at the velocity of explosive shock waves, equally all the way around. Just one other structural observation: At the Pentagon one evidence was supposed to be the bent over light-poles...so neatly leaning; from a 500mph aircraft impact?! Those light-poles would have been folded at the impact point, ripped out and left in a mangled mess some hundreds of metres away! So they were either toppled by small charges, or pulled over by ropes tied to a truck (the previous evening?). There is more structural observations I could make, but the above have not been stressed enough on your site, hence my comments. Please update your site to include/emphasize the above observations. I have been involved in engineering and construction for 38 years. I had worked for the Defense Department for 8 years and held two secret clearances, and I had worked on the space program for four years. Helped design and build the ladle from a 80 ton To a 100 ton pour.....they made 5.25 inch billets,,,then reduced Them down to re-bar of many sizes.. There is no way,,no how,, A steel framed bld. The offical explanations of the collapses of WTC 1, 2, and 7 are totally implausible. The extreme symmetries could be attained only by controlled demolitions of remarkable precision. Nonlinear dynamic systems are almost always chaotic, so the towers should have warped slightly in complex ways, but probably without collapsing. For all practical purposes, the investigation that needed to be done has been done, but by private individuals rather than the so-called authorities.

I have studied what I consider to be the phenomena of the collapse of WTC buildings 1,2 and 7 for 7 years now. Given the scientific findings found in the ash debris, the video evidence, and known laws of physics, I have concluded it impossible that WTC buildings 1,2, and 7 collapsed due to fire itself. I reject the official 911 commission report and demand an official civilian re-investigation. A building simply cannot fall into its own footprint due to fire alone without help of explosives.

I am not technically trained in any field that would qualify me to evaluate the circumstances of 9/11. I do have an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and will soon be getting a business management degree. But using merely common sense I can see that the official story has countless flaws, or is more than likely a complete fabrication! For years I had known nothing of Building 7. Many friends that I have asked have never heard of it. How can a 47 (?) story building fall on 9/11 and no one know about it? 9/11 coverage was all over the news. It only makes sense that it was purposely hidden. And the circumstances surrounding its collapse are even more thought provoking. How did this 47 story building collapse merely because of fire. It wasn't even impacted by any plane! And watching footage of it's collapse clearly show a controlled demolition!

My Father was a physicist and an Army Lifer. I was taught to observe pragmatically, rather than allow my opinion to be swayed by others.
I lived on 2 SAC bases in the 1960s, and it seems that I always knew that the skies over the U.S. were guaranteed safe, by virtue of the fighters scrambled when any airplane deviated from its flight plane and did not have an instant explanation. I was always told that any aircraft could be intercepted within 10 to 15 minutes of the decision to scramble. Then, one fighter on each side, the wing-waggle, visual contact with pilot, another warning and, if there was no response, or the response was not acceptable, they'd blast them out of the sky. Fairly straightforward. So, when I knew that air traffic controllers knew, and nothing scrambled, I had my doubts. After the aircraft hit the WTC, and air traffic knew there was something (supposedly another commercial jetliner) headed for D.C., and nothing scrambled to intercept, I knew it was bogus. I knew that the burning of jet fuel and office furniture, at their maximum, could not have produced enough energy to pulverize those buildings into talcum powder-sized bits. I'm also a geology student, and the speed at which those super-heated clouds of pulverized debris engulfed the area looked suspiciously like pyroclastic flow - again, NEVER the product of a jet fuel fire. Then, just watching #7, in particular--it was so obvious.

It's quite obvious that the planes and fire did not bring down the towers - towers adsorbed the impact without ant trouble, fire not hot enough to cause metal fatigue. It's also plain that a jet did not plunge into a western Pa. field - no litter at the site. From the size and shape of the hole in the Pentagon, it's clear that it a plane didn't hit it - lack of debris.

My education is in the hospitality field and I am still feeling the effects of 9/11. My father was in the military, when the event occurred, and his office was in charge of moving the debris from ground zero to a sorting area. Seeing what he did was the first time I felt interested in what had happened and I have been trying to learn as much as possible since.
I have no degree or experience in architecture or demolition and I cannot help but feel we need more investigation into the collapse of the towers and building seven.

I'm a pre-med student at Evergreen State College and an activist in the WA 9/11 Investigators group.
I feel that the lack of appropriate scientific investigation pertaining to the collapse of WTC Buildings 1, 2, & 7 is a shame to science. A new investigation is called for.

It's impossible for a jet plane to bring down a 50 to 70-or-so-story Trade Center building. The mass and energy-force is not enough to cause that much destruction.
