To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

In the beginning I believed the official story. But after the shock wore off, I found I could not forget the way the buildings fell. The debris was not consistent with a normal building collapse. Eye witnesses heard explosions, and the collapse of all three buildings had more resemblance to a controlled demolition than an unplanned structural failure. I have read many points of view on the matter and can no longer agree with the official story.

The more the so-called experts, including the NIST engineers, tried to explain it, the murkier it got. I have studied architecture at a university for applied sciences for one year and then quit the study, because I found out I was more interested in personal contacts with people.
In my opinion, one doesn't even need a background in engineering to understand the fact that the official theory is nowhere near what actually happened. Just using common sense can help you out most of the time. The physical evidence, meaning the unlikelyhood of the twin towers collapsing into their own base leaving almost nothing but rubble and dust, in combination with the collapse of tower 7 without a plane having hit that tower, and all the incompatibilities concerning the pentagon crash, the nanothermite and controlled demolition marks (and what more), can in my opinion lead to only one conclusion.... A new, completely independent research, must be done.

The official story does not explain how the three buildings in the World Trade complex collapsed. Experts--such as the architects and engineers represented here--state that the events of the official story would not cause the collapse of these buildings. Other details, such as the presence of nano-thermite, have not been addressed. Further investigation is warranted.

I am fully convinced that jets did not alone account for the collapse of the THREE buildings on 9/11. I have serious doubts about the presence of planes even at the Flight 93 and Pentagon sites. There are too many questions unanswered, leaving a deafening silence from the lack of independent and/or formal investigation with access to all the facts. I watched the events in real-time, albeit 3000 miles away, and it didn't feel right at the time, and still doesn't to this day. I could have understood the sections above the fires collapsing and crumbling away leaving the remaining structure intact, but the inward collapse of both buildings simply does not resonate with my human instincts, and assumes too many coincidences. I have no faith that the truth will ever be revealed but I stand shoulder to shoulder with those who lost their lives and those they left behind who want that truth.

I have read books about 9/11 and seen Mr. Gage's lecture at University of Manitoba. The science of the collapse is irrefutable. I first began to have doubts about the official story when I read a German analysis about the volume of the dust cloud and the impossibility of the jet fuel to produce it.

It seems reasonable and understandable to me that it would be impossible for the 3 WTC buildings that collapsed on 9/11 could have collapsed within seconds because of the impact of an airplane that had hit the building over an hour earlier. And of course, WTC-7 was not hit by a plane.

Like many; I bought into what the media had 'fronted'. It was not until my then 17 yr. old son woke me up to what could be the truth: 'Fahrenheit 9/11' a documentary discussing otherwise. I would be purposed to believe that ONE steel structure could possibly collapse, but not at freefall speeds, and not simply from jet fuel. Steel simply doesn't melt at that temperature. Otherwise, it would be safe to say most airlines simply could not utilize it AS fuel.

Too many problems with the collapse. The fires started by the jet fuel was supposed to melt the fire retardant steel and thus cause the collapse. Steel melts at a higher temperature than what the jet fuel burns at, so how could that cause the collapse? The fire fighters and others report massive explosions from under the towers, what was it from?

True collapses happen much more slowly than the controlled demolitions of the three WTC buildings. It is very clear from witness testimony, audio, video, and chemical analysis that these buildings were planned and controlled demolitions. The evidence is staggering. That's not including the NORAD stand down orders and other extremely impossible coincidences that occurred on the morning and going on to the afternoon of September 11th 2001. Steel does not melt from the low heat of jet grade kerosene, buildings do not collapse at free fall speed, and evidence of a mass murder does not get shipped out of the country. Yet all those things happened.
