PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Objects move through the path of least resistance. Towers 1 and 2 collapsed through the path of most resistance. Normally, you would expect the layers to fall with increasing eccentricity as the collapse progressed, rather than through the centreline where the greatest resistance is. NIST's cascade theory depends on mathematical modeling, and as with all complex models, numerous assumptions are needed to get the model to run. An independent review is needed to verify the reasonableness and plausibility of the factors included in the model which was used to support the cascade theory. We need to independently verify whether the NIST analysis was a case of shooting the arrow and then painting the bulls eye around it. Furthermore, films of the collapse of WTC7 show a very improbable event: the symmetrical collapse of a building that was impacted by the WTC 1&2 debris asymmetrically. Both ends of WTC7 should not have begun their collapse at the same moment if left to chance alone. The collapses of WTC 1, 2, and 7, purely from an engineering point of view, and leaving out any political theories or implications, do not make sense without the assistance of explosives or other devices or some other as-yet unimagined factor to remove resistance and control the collapse. I very much recommend that the engineers, whose duty it is to determine the causes of collapse, remain unswayed by speculations and fears about political implications, and make their assessments based on the physics and engineering alone. The claims made by NIST seem to require multiple leaps of faith in highly improbable events. Improbable things do indeed happen, but as all good skeptics know: Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I have been a practicing electronics hardware engineer in the tech field in Silicon Valley ever since receiving a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California Santa Barbara. Though the BSEE ultimately focuses on electronics, electronic devices, and materials, like most engineering degrees it also requires significant background study in physics, mechanics, and mathematics to sufficiently ground the recipient in the general discipline of engineering.
You hardly need college physics to show that the mechanics of NIST's collapse model doesn't fit the evidence collected on that day. A simple conservation of energy problem (taught in most high school treatments of mechanics) suffices. Take the twin towers for example: if the tops of the buildings accelerated towards the ground at the rate of free-fall, which I believe has been adequately established through video and seismic analysis, it follows that all of their stored gravitational potential energy is being expended accelerating their mass towards the surface of the earth. From whence came the energy responsible for dismantling the steel support structure below the falling mass then? How can one source of potential simultaneously be totally expended in the acceleration of mass earthward while also providing the energy to pulverize hundreds of thousands of tons of structural steel and concrete? It simply can't... and that's one of many reasons why NIST's explanation is totally unacceptable.

Watching the taped strike of the 1st aircraft and the live coverage of the 2nd strike and the building collapses a short time later, it was obvious that there was something wrong with the falling of the buildings and the government reactions as reported. Then the fires in WTC 7 and it's collapse later in the day -- made no sense whatsoever.The facts of what I watched compared to what I knew scientifically and practically did not match. I felt it obvious from the first that it was just wrong.

I am very impressed by the extent of the research, the professionalism of the many researchers providing that work, as well as how compelling the results prove demolition of the WTC Buildings. I believe the case for a new, proper investigation with subpoena power has easily been made. The dynamics (accelerations) of the collapse, the evidence of temperatures consistent with thermites, and the explosive features evident in the videos (particularly the South Tower) are more than adequate to prove the demolition hypothesis.

The building's collapse appears to be orchestrated in a controlled demolition. The buildings steel core would not have been affected by the temperatures reached by jet fuel alone. The hotel in Madrid burned for a much longer period and DID NOT FAIL. It's construction is similar to the WTC towers. Building 7 was not even hit and it was also a controlled demolition. I have a degree in art with post grad work in photography, landscape design and film. As someone who deals with visual and verbal imagery, I have a concern as to how things are presented and portrayed. While it has been said that artists use lies to tell the truth, I have found that using the truth to expose a lie is a more compelling pursuit.
I will admit to having been sucked into the official story, mostly by the simplicity of its apparent evil genius. My two 'oh, wait a minute' moments came with viewings of the short Pentagon attack video and Loose Change II. I have since learned from a retired Boeing engineer friend that within 24 hrs. of the events of 9/11 there was an ongoing online discussion among his fellow engineers as to how the thing that struck the Pentagon was never a 757. As for the twin towers, one need only to ask why the top floors of both towers above where the planes hit crumbled the same way the floors below, since they wouldn't have been subjected to the same forces of the supposed pancaking effect. And as Dylan Avery pointed out a while ago before AE911 Truth kicked off the campaign, one needs only to ask what happened to Building 7 to totally gum up the works of the official story.

I initially did not question the official story of the WTC collapses; however, upon viewing the images now that the shock has worn off I do not feel that the images match with the explanation we have been given. A floor by floor collapse in which the weight of one floor is pushing down the next would have taken longer as the floors would have provided resistance to the collapse. Also, all of the witnesses in and around the buildings gave descriptions of additional explosions, many of which were on the lower levels.

I'm a reasonably intelligent, well-read woman in my early 70s. I have lived through several wars including the big one and I have seen my peer group furnish fodder for man's wars. History that others read to learn, I lived and I have lived long enough to see truths come to the top like cream on milk. The reasons man goes to war is usually for riches. They justify, lie, hide and try to re-write events but what they do in darkness generally, when one lives long enough, will be revealed.
During the 50s/60s I witnessed the demolition of the Biltmore Hotel in Oklahoma City among other high rises and, while viewing the events in NYC on 9-11, I saw the pancaking of the building that was NOT hit by aircraft........I knew I had seen that before. I have also viewed film of other NYC skyscrapers that have been hit by aircrafts that left only a few floors damaged. In the last 3/4s of a century I have had to question much of what my government tells me because the truths have turned into half-truths and/or pure fabrications or they have hidden events from the citizens of our country. This investigation MUST take place for the morality of it and as a brake on a government that is out-of-control.

On Tuesday, Sept 11, 2001, I watched the TV where I saw the smoke pouring out of the twin towers. I had no idea what was going on, but thought how horrible it would be if a tower fell over. I didn't give it a lot of thought, I simply imagined it would fall in the direction of the wound to the building, much like a tree does when I cut it down with a chain saw. And then when it suddenly collapsed straight down, showing no relationship to the damaged side of the building, I didn't understand what was happening. The next day, when I heard statements that Osama bin Laden was responsible (someone I had never heard of), I wondered, how could anyone know with certainty who was responsible, when the day before they said they had no idea.

I'm 21 years old. After finishing school with Abitur in 2008 I served in Germany's compulsory civilian service for one year. Since 2009 I've studied computational engineering science (CES) at RWtH Aachen. Therefore I've been through exams in mechanics and mathematics so far.
Although I have limited knowledge (1 year of studying) about the laws of physics/mechanics I still am able to say: NO, the official 9/11 report can not and does not explain what happened on that tragic day. Science fails to describe the destruction, or better annihilation, of WTC7 due to normal office fires. Especially if they were small and random like the fires in building 7. This contradicts the 9/11 report. Therefore the report does not represent reality of that day. Even intuition says: This collapse cannot occur the way it has been explained officially! Especially after the impressive fire in Beijing on Feb 9th, 2009, where a high riser of similar size was engulfed in flames for many hours and still DID NOT show any tendency to collapse.

The pattern of the collapse of WTC-7, easily observable in several Internet videos, could not have been be due to damage reportedly caused over the course of a few hours by 3 small fires located randomly within the 47-story steel framed structure. The most logical cause of the observable pattern of collapse would be controlled demolition. Since such charges take days to weeks to set properly, one can only conclude that such charges had to have been set in the building well in advance of 9/11/2001. And if this is the case for Building 7, might explosive charges also have been planted in advance of 9/11 in the Twin Towers?

I don't really know why one must have a degree to see the events of 9/11 where curious at the least. One only needs to trust in what one sees. I was a tree climber for many years and know how things fall.
I knew something wasn't right in the seconds during the first tower collapsing into itself and turning to dust. I screamed out that was demolished! that was too perfect! I remember hearing Lou Dobbs moments after saying similar but then never again. I reserve the right to question everything as an American. I have my entire life and remain steamed at the ease of the non-investigation by our Of the People for the People government.

I have viewed over a hundred different videos concerning the 9/11 collapses, and many of them clearly exhibit explosions before the actual collapses. The astounding evidence of pulverization of the buildings and their collapse alone kept me searching for the truth. I watched on live television that day, and no amount of propaganda will convince me that what my eyes saw that day was solely caused by the airplanes hitting the buildings, or the plane that hit the Pentagon, or the crash of flight 77 that left no large debris field. I was in Florida when the JetBlue plane crashed into the Everglades...they could not find the plane at first because it was buried in over thirty feet of swampland, which is soft and aqueous...so I certainly do not believe there was a large plane that hit the Pentagon, nor do I believe a large passenger plane went down in a field in Pennsylvania, leaving only a small crater and some charred pieces. The WTC towers should have left much larger debris and concrete chunks, or they would not have stood for so long...thank you.

As a resident of Tribeca (which includes Ground Zero) and a close eyewitness to the entire day's events (and neighbor of Squad 18, Ladder 20. All 14 of these brave men were lost to us that day.) I have not received answers from the authorities to questions I couldn't help but ask that day. Since then I've been given answers, or I should say possible answers, by only those who've sacrificed a bit of themselves to seek closure for us all. A sincere thanks to them (the activists for truth) and a plea to the rest of us to join ranks. Let's make our representatives and Senators answer to the questions that are at times the most difficult to pursue.
Has anyone seen the Pull it video of Larry Silverstein, the Leaseholder of World Trade Center 7, openly admitting they made that decision to pull [the controlled demolition of his building]? It's on Youtube... doesn't this raise a few inconsistencies with the story touted by the networks and major papers? Perhaps they've lost their credibility...? Our last bastion of truth: Net Neutrality. Let's at least hold on to what we've got.

I am a nineteen year old high school graduate. I believe in doing what is right and I expect the people who choose our freedoms should do so as well. In my book friendly fire is not considered right. I think we all need to know the truth about what happened that hideous september morning!
It looked as if the buildings collapsed, much like in standard demolition exercises, especially on WTC 7. There are countless interviews with firefighters who were in the buildings that report hearing secondary explosions.
