PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I mentioned to my wife, shortly before they fell, that is would be almost impossible for the buildings to fall due to the lack of sufficient heat loading and due to the fire protection systems in place within the buildings. In addition, in over 30 years in the fire business, I have never seen a pancake collapse of the nature that happened here. I have long wondered about water weight loading from the shattered sprinkler systems, which would have continued pumping until empty or without power, yet have never seen anything about water weight presented by any official investigation that takes that into account in any way.

I've worked for an engineering consulting firm called TRC out of its Franklin, Massachusetts office since graduation, performing engineering services for power utilities. I am also an engineer-in-training, which means I passed the fundamentals of engineering exam, which is required before applying for the Professional Engineering license. My substation design experience includes high voltage substations up to 115KV.
I'm concerned that the official story of 9/11 does not adequately explain the collapse of the three skyscrapers that came down on that day. World Trade Center 7 was never hit by a plane, had only minimal damage, and collapsed into its own footprint in a demolition style collapse. The twin towers also collapsed into their own footprint in a way that can be explained by controlled demolition.

Although I have no means proving my gut feelings about what really happened on 9/11/2001, I would put money on the bet that the Bush administration used the attack to obtain the support of the majority of the American people to open a new war on Afghanistan in addition to the raging war in Iraq, in pursue of indirectly funding the all-powerful US weapon industry. I am almost convinced, at least I would not be surprised at all, that this administration firstly had full information about the terrorists preparations prior to their attack, secondly decided not to intervene these activities, and thirdly purposely used this attack to also demolish building 7 in the event. The controlled demolition of building 7 means it was planned and prepared for a long time in advance. That being true, it becomes difficult not to assume that the collapse of the two towers also was prepared in advance, and was the real cause for their destruction, not the aircraft and the fire inferno. This would then lead to the proof of the US government at the time wanting the plans of the terrorists to be successful, and even having prepared to help them in making sure the three buildings would come down, and kill almost 3000 people as a side-effect' This then is the world we live in, a world full of hypocrites and money horny individuals, who don't blink an eye killing their own fellowmen to benefit themselves as much as possible' Believing this scenario is the reason I also want an independent investigation to come about, and incarcerate the ones guilty until they die' I pray your initiative will be fully successful.

The September 11th attacks are a difficult issue not because of the science, but the psychology. For years I dismissed the 9/11 truthers without taking the time to listen to their claims, let alone examine the evidence that they had diligently compiled. Even when I finally did look into the issue, I wanted so badly to maintain my world view that I spent weeks looking for something that disproved the claims of the 9/11 truth movement. After failing to find it, I became angry. Why hadn't my engineering professors told me? I realized that, just like me, they had naturally rejected ideas that went against their preconceptions. Now I am trying to become a part of one of the most ridiculed and hated groups in the United States: those who were open minded enough to listen, humble enough to investigate, and motivated enough to do something about it.

For 15 years I worked as a design engineer for a company that manufactures heavy industrial machinery and heat transfer equipment. The 9/11 commission report mentioned that building #7 collapsed due solely to office fires. How does an office fire make the core columns at the building's center disintegrate so that the penthouse on top of the building drops a slight second before the rest of the building, which then goes down at close to free fall speed? How can the combustible materials in an office fire have enough heat to keep tons of steel in it's molten state for many weeks after the building collapses? How did both Jane Stanley from the BBC and Aaron Brown of CNN know that building #7 had collapsed when we can see it standing right behind them as they give their report? Without insisting on a thorough explanation of what transpired on 9/11, the AIA simply cannot claim to represent the architectural profession. - - - - I didn't see video footage of the collapses until 2005. At that point I spent months searching the web for more information. At the end of the day, the deliberate demolition is obvious. The reasons for doing so are incomprehensible - which is why many people refuse to acknowledge reality. The reality however, is that multiple crimes were committed, and crimes need to be investigated and the criminals brought to justice. They never were in Iraq.

I am just finishing my last year of Graduate school at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Architecture. A couple years ago I came across videos of WTC 7 collapsing and immediately recognized it as a planned demolition. I have taken structure classes and construction classes enough to know how a building should fall down if it was damaged by debris hitting it or if it was demolished by explosives.
Everything makes more sense now that it has been explained in a logical manner. I had seen the squib explosions being pointed out on video before I saw this presentation. People said I was crazy and they couldn't believe that I would even think that our own government could be behind something like this. I tried to come up with some logical explanation on my own and the only thing I could think of was that the floors above caved in all at once and caused the debris to fly away from the building like that. But when the statistics for the velocity of that explosion were given it seems impossible for it to be anything other than an explosion.

It has been the most painful event in my life, has caused me incredible grief and set me back in life, but I believe that if the real truth about those events does not surface, there will be no healing, and the world will be destined to lose its humanity and self destruct completely.
From the time that I watched the planes hit the towers that Tuesday morning, I completely believed that those planes could not maneuver themselves that accurately without the level of expertise that only the military of united States can have. The fact that the height difference between the first and second tower impacts was considerable, the mass of the building in the first tower hit above the impact point had to be on the order of 1/3 to 1/2 that of the second tower. That mass difference should have manifested itself in different crash behavior, yet both towers collapsed in exactly the same manner! Building 7 was so obviously demolished by internal explosive that the government story was never anything by a comic farse to me. God bless those brave enough to not let the true perpetrators get away with what they have done to this planet and this humanity.

WTC 7 was just too obvious so I think anyone with common sense can see it's not fire, come on people! It's like people aren't using their brains probably because its too emotional, I guess. For WTC 1&2 I would say the same because they BOTH fell exactly at free fall speed. Considering the planes hit in different locations, the Chaos theory states there's no way it would result in the same EXACT way. Also, how is there no resistance AT ALL? AT ALL. We have been told 9/11 changed the world. Yet, a thorough, independent investigation of this world changing event has not been conducted. The co-chairs of the 9/11 Commission, Kean and Hamilton, have stated publicly that critical information was withheld from the Commission rendering the final report invalid. This is outrageous and an affront to our form of government. The Congress must show courage and open a new, comprehensive investigation, seeking the whole truth no matter where this process leads. I've been a Truther for around 8 years now. On top of that, I'm a sales and marketing pro from Pennsylvania, currently in the final steps of launching my own small business marketing firm, specializing in alternative marketing methods.
Anyone who passed even 11th grade physics should know these collapses simply could not have happened as they did without the proper explosives/thermal cutters in place. Free fall speeds cannot be attained with mass below interrupting the fall. Therefore, the mass of the towers was obviously removed ahead of the falling upper floors. I believe the whole truth will come out- and not too long from now. There's been a lot of progress made in the Truth Movement and eyes are definitely opening on a large scale.

From what I hear, the official 9/11 report does not mention the collapse of WTC building 7 or the secondary explosions heard by the people in and around the WTC buildings, both of which need to be explained. If you watch footage, which I think has just been released in the last couple of years (It's 2010 now), you'll heare many reporters, firefighters, and employees of the WTC talk about secondary explosions going off- from the time the towers were on fire until they finally collapsed. Now if these secondary explosions weren't caused by any kind of gas leaks or pipes being severed and exploding, then their had to be explosives planted throughout the buildings, and what can be inferred from this is that these three buildings were actually brought down by demolition. And if they were demolished, who demolished them, and why? Another topic I don't believe was discussed enough in the 9/11 report was the pools of molten metal found coming out of the higher parts of WTC buildings and also found at the base of the buildings. I believe the official report says it's just molten aluminum but doubters of the official report, who are scientists and others, are able to prove that it's not aluminum because of the color of the gas coming from the molten metal which is shown in footage of the towers as they were still burning.

I have never believed the official story. BOTH twin towers - the victims of crashing airliners? - and NO scrambling of US Air Force jets to intercept either plane?!? Plus, I HEARD those fresh, firsthand accounts describing the series of percussive explosions emanating from areas far below the impact areas and near the base of Bldgs 1 & 2. Great to see credible support from the Architectural and Engineering sectors of the need for an honest, credible investigation of what REALLY took place that day... If Muslim terrorists were indeed responsible for the attacks on American soil, it was not without the US Administration's complicity.

I have no technical experience, rather a natural curiosity for answers to why 3 steel buildings would collapse by fire in one day when it has never in history happened before.
There are numerous eyewitnesses saying they heard bombs prior to the Buildings falling and others near the Pentagon saying they saw the plane on a different trajectory than the one in the official account. The NIST didn't even test for explosives even tho there were numerous witnesses saying they heard bombs and explosions. Numerous eye-witness and photo, audio accounts of secondary explosions and collapse effects indicate that Prof's Griffin's and others' concerns, followed by the non-standard investigation, payoff scheme, and crime scene compromise after the crime indicate a scenario that requires an impartial scientific evaluation of building failures and causes.

The morning of 9/11, watching the buildings burn, my wife asked if they would fall. I said 'no, impossible, if anything the top will start to lean and perhaps fall off.' The moment the entire building(s) came down I couldn't believe it. How? It didn't make sense to me but for a time I accepted the story and what my eyes had seen. By 2003 I was convinced something wasn't right and the 'official story' stank to high heaven. It took me a few more years to find people who believed as I did. Look at the data and all the information. I have built a lot of things. I took down an old tree house once. I took it off from the top and it fell to the side. For something to fall like the Towers did would have to be set up to destroy the main supports.

As a layman (appraiser), and not an engineer, I saw Building 7 collapse in a very different way than the towers. There is too much contradictory information involved, not the least of which is the BBC broadcast saying it had fallen, when it appeared to still be standing in the background. The lack of significant video regarding the Pentagon (I can't believe they had fewer cameras around than my local WalMart!) and the lack of wing marks and appropriate debris in and around the building are of great concern. We need a thorough and complete' investigation.

Idaho resident who has reviewed documentaries of 9/11 and feels doing an official investigation about what took place on 9/11 is more than warranted.
The rate at which the buildings fell defies gravity unless the use of explosives were used to aid the rate at which the towers fell. Building #7 could not have collapsed without the aid of explosives. Not reopening this for investigation is a gross display of disrespect to the victims and family of the victims of 9/11 when evidence has shown the use of explosives may have been used.

After having viewed the films of the collapse of those three buildings in the epicenter of NYC, it is no longer possible for me to believe this type of demolition could have possibly been the result of external forces only. Why was the structural evidence so quickly removed????
