PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

In 1993, Brian Thompson joined the local combination volunteer fire department, working beside Seattle firefighters and trained at the Washington State Fire Academy. Seven years later, he earned his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Marquette University, including a 12-month internship in fire protection engineering at a consultancy in downtown Chicago. For the next 2 years he continued to work as a volunteer firefighter. Thompson then attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) where he earned his Master's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering. While at WPI, he attended Professor Jonathan Barnett's building fire safety lecture on the first anniversary of 9-11, in which Barnett describing his involvement and experience as a FEMA investigator, and their findings. Thompson's coursework also included fire dynamics, risk management and forensic analysis. He holds professional licenses in both Fire Protection Engineering and Civil Engineering in multiple states, and came into the role of Principal in 2006 practicing fire protection engineering design and consulting.
The lack of the FEMA team's ability to conduct a proper investigation of the original collapse conditions, the explanation developed by the FEMA team, and the subsequent contradictory conclusion by NIST, raised questions. In an effort to answer these questions, I have researched various information and data compiled by others. My research has left these questions unresolved, and reinforced my doubt in the official story regarding the cause of collapse for both WTC towers and Building 7.

I have been involved with commercial projects for all of my architectural career. I have worked with many materials from wood, concrete, and steel. I have only experience in low rise buildings no higher then 3 stories.

From my studies of building collapse in college structural courses no building collapses that we studied collapsed such a uniform manner, and speed. There is only one way that this occurred and that is for internal explosions on the structural support columns similar to a demolition of a building would occur. There was not enough damage to building 7 to cause a structural collapses. This is my opinion on the collapses, a basic understanding of structural properties of steel and concrete, a knowledge of physics, and some common since have brought me to this conclusion.

The building 7 collapse was obviously a controlled demolition. There was no direct plane crash, and a diesel building fire somehow caused a perfect demolition internal collapse. This was no accident, and to me, completely discredits the official report, and must be investigated and scientifically explained. I would like a release of any and all evidence related to 9/11, so the public can decide. There are many unanswered questions in my mind. How come raw materials from the demolished building are hidden away in warehouses, and not publicly available? Let independent auditors test metal from the wreckage for nano-thermite. Why is there no open scientific scrutiny and study? Why is the public prevented from seeing an analyzing the evidence? Why were air force pilots kept occupied training for the exact scenario (hijacking exercise) the day of the attacks? (air traffic controller saying is this real world, or an exercise). Where are the black boxes? Security footage tapes? Release the pentagon footage - all of it (there must be some hi-res footage not publicly released), showing the crash, to refute claims it was a cruise missile / inside job, and confirm it was a plane. Explain the Pennsylvania crash - why are there no large plane parts? Explain how black boxes can fail to survive all crashes. These are designed to survive, and yet *all* 4 vanished? This isn't possible. If it were, then there are serious problems with black-box design and a national redesign should be in force. Again, science to overcome this exact scenario (crashes) somehow failed? This contradicts the official report, and must be explained. Explain how diesel can melt steel. Modern material science is advanced enough to show jet fuel can't melt steel (1400 degree jet fuel fires can't melt steel at almost 2800 degrees), so how *did* it melt? Refute nano-thermite questions with evidence. Again, why does science contradict the official report? If it is eventually determined nano-thermite was actually used (contrary to the official findings), then go further, and identify who could have done such a thing? On such a massive scale? Undetected? Open up video security footage from inside the buildings to help identify the individuals involved, expose street camera footage to allow vehicles in/out to be identified so we can understand who could have done this and how they pulled it off. Motive and opportunity. Who stood to profit from 9/11? Follow the money trail. This hasn't received enough investigative attention. The whole affair smells of a cover-up. Too much contradiction with science, too many (easily answered) unanswered questions. If there is nothing to hide, why is all the evidence hidden away in private? All of these issues and many more need serious investigation, openly, by the public, which can only happen with access to the evidence in question. Currently there are too many secrets, too much evidence held in secret, preventing people from analyzing the evidence openly, drawing their own conclusions, and thus determining their own truth. Let's make the evidence public, so people can find truth, get closure, and move on once and for all.

The official story is that the buildings, weakened by fire, and falling under their own wight, pancaked down. The collapse happened in less than 10 seconds, which is about the time for a free falling object from that height to hit the ground. Resistance of building joints at each floor would have slowed the fall and possibly caused a much less even descent, perhaps even toppling. Pancaking would have left much more evidence. Explosives would have removed all evidence leaving only dust.

I was shocked (and remarked to her) that it seemed as if the buildings simply dropped out from under the burning areas where the planes hit. It made absolutely no sense to me at the time. I remember the second tower in particular; there was a tremendous explosion-- and the top of the building appeared to actually rise and then fall at an angle. Looking back now on the events of that day... and taking into account the considerable evidence available on 9/11: Blueprint for truth indicating a controlled demolition, the collapse that never made sense to me previously, now makes perfect sense. No doubt whatsoever in my mind that these buildings (all three) were deliberately brought down.

I attended community college in the late 90's and majored in physics and mathematics. I transferred to university but never completed my bachelor's degree. I am very well educated about the fundamentals of physics, although not engineering, and I certainly feel that I have the expertise to conclude that there are more falsehoods than truths in the 9/11 Commission Report.
Every element of a controlled demolition that should be present was on 9/11. The fire based collapse conjecture does not adequately account for the amount of dust, the molten metal, the free fall rate of collapse, etc. Occam's razor dictates that the simplest explanation is usually the correct one. Controlled demolition accounts for the entire event. The fire based collapse requires a string of highly unlikely coincidences to be feasible. And, of course, 9/11 was the perfect event to justify two seemingly endless wars that are reaping *massive* profits for a select few defense contractors. All logic points to the unimaginable conclusion that those charged with protecting us were at the very least complicit in the terrorist attack in history.

The co-chairs of the 9/11 Commission, Kean and Hamilton, have stated publicly that critical information was withheld from the Commission rendering the final report invalid. I've been a Truther for around 8 years now. On top of that, I'm a sales and marketing pro from Pennsylvania, currently in the final steps of launching my own small business marketing firm, specializing in alternative marketing methods.
Anyone who passed even 11th grade physics should know these collapses simply could not have happened as they did without the proper explosives/thermal cutters in place. Free fall speeds cannot be attained with mass below interrupting the fall. Therefore, the mass of the towers was obviously removed ahead of the falling upper floors. I believe the whole truth will come out- and not too long from now. There's been a lot of progress made in the Truth Movement and eyes are definitely opening on a large scale.

From what I hear, the official 9/11 report does not mention the collapse of WTC building 7 or the secondary explosions heard by the people in and around the WTC buildings, both of which need to be explained. If you watch footage, which I think has just been released in the last couple of years (It's 2010 now), you'll heare many reporters, firefighters, and employees of the WTC talk about secondary explosions going off- from the time the towers were on fire until they finally collapsed. Now if these secondary explosions weren't caused by any kind of gas leaks or pipes being severed and exploding, then their had to be explosives planted throughout the buildings, and what can be inferred from this is that these three buildings were actually brought down by demolition. And if they were demolished, who demolished them, and why? Another topic I don't believe was discussed enough in the 9/11 report was the pools of molten metal found coming out of the higher parts of WTC buildings and also found at the base of the buildings. I believe the official report says it's just molten aluminum but doubters of the official report, who are scientists and others, are able to prove that it's not aluminum because of the color of the gas coming from the molten metal which is shown in footage of the towers as they were still burning.

I have never believed the official story. BOTH twin towers - the victims of crashing airliners? - and NO scrambling of US Air Force jets to intercept either plane?!? Plus, I HEARD those fresh, firsthand accounts describing the series of percussive explosions emanating from areas far below the impact areas and near the base of Bldgs 1 & 2. Great to see credible support from the Architectural and Engineering sectors of the need for an honest, credible investigation of what REALLY took place that day... I have no technical experience, rather a natural curiosity for answers to why 3 steel buildings would collapse by fire in one day when it has never in history happened before.
There are numerous eyewitnesses saying they heard bombs prior to the Buildings falling and others near the Pentagon saying they saw the plane on a different trajectory than the one in the official account. The NIST didn't even test for explosives even tho there were numerous witnesses saying they heard bombs and explosions. In short, there are hundreds of questions in the official story/account of all aspects of the tragedy on Sept. 11. We absolutely MUST have a new investigation.

Conceptual, test requirements, and practical understanding of the systems requirements for supporting (also simulation) of remote controls using Labview or similar industrial automation tools, of elements of control of satellite-based navigation: GPS plus Geostationary satellite signals to control a moving vehicle to a target point.
State of the art techniques in GPS/SBAS/WAAS available in 2001 allowed the strong possibility of navigating an aircraft with remote fly by wire control to be utilized for purposes other than original intent: the safe transport of passengers and cargo to their destination. Numerous eye-witness and photo, audio accounts of secondary explosions and collapse effects indicate that Prof's Griffin's and others' concerns, followed by the non-standard investigation, payoff scheme, and crime scene compromise after the crime indicate a scenario that requires an impartial scientific evaluation of building failures and causes.

The morning of 9/11, watching the buildings burn, my wife asked if they would fall. I said 'no, impossible, if anything the top will start to lean and perhaps fall off.' The moment the entire building(s) came down I couldn't believe it. How? It didn't make sense to me but for a time I accepted the story and what my eyes had seen. By 2003 I was convinced something wasn't right and the 'official story' stank to high heaven. It took me a few more years to find people who believed as I did. I am a seeker of truth and know when I'm being lied to. The truth is what will set us free.

Look at the data and all the information. I have built a lot of things. I took down an old tree house once. I took it off from the top and it fell to the side. For something to fall like the Towers did would have to be set up to destroy the main supports.
I'm Canadain and from what I see is that the American public needs to open their eyes because information is being held from them. The people need their own investigation without government, Merill Lynch or Skull and Bones society. George Bush knew about it all before hand. They all did and your people deserve justice!

As a layman (appraiser), and not an engineer, I saw Building 7 collapse in a very different way than the towers. There is too much contradictory information involved, not the least of which is the BBC broadcast saying it had fallen, when it appeared to still be standing in the background. The lack of significant video regarding the Pentagon (I can't believe they had fewer cameras around than my local WalMart!) and the lack of wing marks and appropriate debris in and around the building are of great concern. We need a thorough and complete' investigation.

Idaho resident who has reviewed documentaries of 9/11 and feels doing an official investigation about what took place on 9/11 is more than warranted.
The rate at which the buildings fell defies gravity unless the use of explosives were used to aid the rate at which the towers fell. Building #7 could not have collapsed without the aid of explosives. Not reopening this for investigation is a gross display of disrespect to the victims and family of the victims of 9/11 when evidence has shown the use of explosives may have been used.

After having viewed the films of the collapse of those three buildings in the epicenter of NYC, it is no longer possible for me to believe this type of demolition could have possibly been the result of external forces only. Why was the structural evidence so quickly removed????
