PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have a BS in Computer Engineering from Tufts University Engineering School. I believe that everything has a scientific explanation, and anything that defies a scientific explanation is either bad science or something that is not yet conventional science. In other words, if science can't explain it, either the effect is something that exceeds current methods of scientific measure or your data is bad and/or your assumptions are incorrect.
Seeing that the collapse of all three WTC structures can be explained with classical chemistry and Newtonian physics, any evidence of molten steel would indicate that a form of combustion much hotter than the burning of jet fuel caused the failure of the steel structure. When approaching maximum oxidation efficiency, such as in the inside of a jet engine, jet fuel will burn at close to 1500 'C, however, fuel burning under normal atmospheric conditions, even with significant updraft, could burn no hotter than 1000-1100 'C. The melting point of high carbon steel is about 1350' C, depending on the specific alloy. Even with prolonged exposure to the the heat of that burn could cause steel to weaken enough for it to bend and collapse under its own weight, it would not produce 'rivers of molten steel'. That sounds more like something that would have been exposed to a much hotter flame for a short duration, such as thermite. A rapid burn would also better explain the collapse that resembles that of a demolition. It stands to reason that if the twin towers failed due to steel failure due to heat, it would have fallen at an angle as it would seem highly unlikely that the entire structure at the burn floor would fail simultaneously. What is harder to explain is the notion that the collapse of the twin towers not only caused the fire at 7 WTC, but that it was enough of a fire for the building to collapse as though it were demolished as well. Finally, there is the cold fact that none of the gold which was in the reserve at 7 WTC was recovered. Gold doesn't disappear regardless of whether it was melted or not. Put simply, there are just too many 'strange' facts in this incident for the standing explanation to be acceptable by any person of science, regardless of discipline. The fact that the report was rushed and debris was removed from the site with what can only be described as haste, one has to think there is more to the story. A lot more.

Thousands of people on this small street of 26th believing they would find their loved ones. They came with photo's and many stories. With posters of pictures and contact information. Every inch of wall space was posted with people who were not coming home as they were annihilated, meaning reduced to nonexistence as were the computers, desk, chairs, refrigerators, sinks, toilets etc etc in largest buildings in NYC to dust. Fires do not do that. When i get back to FL 3rd week in April I will send this site and post photos that were in NYC Newspapers in the days after 9/11. Of the people trapped in the burning buildings looking out the windows, staring at the ground from the roof. Beautiful blue sky behind the them. Other's in free fall from the roofs as they knew there was no escape.Destiny had arrived at the door. These are the faces of death when a person knows it is over. Buildings such as the Towers were designed to withstand an airplane flying into them. Towers such as this do not collapse in almost free-fall without being demolished, it is part of the engineered design that the base must be strong enough to hold the weight and stresses from above. Engineers ALWAYS over design - just in case! (In case they are sued!!) No structural engineer with an ounce of integrity could possibly say that the 3 WTC buildings were not demolished in a controlled manner. Regarding WTC7, this was a more conventional type of steel framed building and should not under any circumstances have collapsed due to a fire, even if that fire raged throughout the structure. None of the evidence presented by the authorities makes much sense. It needs to be challenged and tested because if 'cold' fires did contribute to the collapse of these structures the designers are in trouble. It would mean that everything we have designed and built in steel and concrete is fatally flawed. We know this is not the case. The world has been lied to - repeatedly, and if you tell the lie often and loud enough, the ignorant public will believe whatever they are told to believe.

I think their certainly is enough doubt surrounding 9/11 for an independent, academic and peer review led investigation - like myth busters - to put to rest the speculation of controlled demolition. specially building 7, the 47 story building that no plane hit with nano thermite in the dust. I am most disturbed by the makeup, investigation and published results of the 9/11 Commission. The commission was composed of 11 politicians hand picked by the administration, who then fought to restrict access to information. The commission itself said it was not to assign blame. Many credible witnesses were never interviewed. The commission never commented on the collapse of WTC Building 7. Clearly this was a biased investigation by non-experts to arrive at a pre-determined conclusion.

Sorry, I don't have any credentials other than common sense, an education and the will to be persistent until I get the truth.
I am a US citizen who lives in NYC. I lived through the experience. At the very beginning, after the dust settled and I became aware of the inconsistencies of the stories of the reasons behind the two major towers collapsing (via various websites), I have always questioned the official story. There are too many nefarious and illogical explanations. I am an educated person with degrees and certificates. In my opinion, Fire CANNOT explain the collapse of the three buildings, however, intentional demolition CAN and DOES! A building cannot collapse upon itself and free fall at the same rate as if you were throwing a golf ball off the side of it (and the golf ball doesn't have any resistance!!! I'm a common sense person who doesn't always accept things at face value. I ask questions and I like to have logical and scientific explanations make sense of the issue at hand. The 9/11 report DOES NONE OF THIS!

Two compelling facts are known about Building 7's collapse at the World Trade Center on 9/11 1. For the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) to AFFIRM that Building 7 at the Word Trade Center had a free fall collapse for the 1st 8 stories is absolute proof that either explosives or some other agent was involved in the building's descent in 2.15 seconds 2. This was a part of one of the biggest crime scenes in US History. For NY City and/or the federal agencies to allow the structural steel and many other components to be removed and recycled without painstaking scientific analysis was probably a criminal act. The refusal to investigate this issue -- based on the opinions of thousands of professionals -- can no longer be excused with a simple claim for maintaining national security. Any explanation outside the official story opens up a very emotionally charged topic, but the official story seems to almost purposely ignore numerous key facts including dozens of police, fire and rescue workers, as well as reporters on the spot, who all heard explosions. There was evidence of explosions in Building 7 as described by the Commissioner? The flash that is clearly seen BEFORE the plane hits the WTC. The issue of molten steel that is impossible to achieve in office fire conditions. The discovery of thermite and thermate which is an explosive. The free fall rate of collapse which is impossible to achieve except in demolition. I am particularly troubled by the way Silverstein has profited from the events of 9/11 as if 'he knew'.

Initially, on 9/11/1, I was surprised at the near free fall speed of the collapse of the twin towers. Subsequently, I learned about the similar collapse of Building 7 into its own footprint and that no other steel-core building in history had ever fallen in the same manner. Viewing footage of the collapse of all three buildings and reading testimony of on-the-scene witnesses led me to believe that demolition type explosives were involved. Then I learned that molten steel was seen under the rubble, that the temperatures required to cause steel to melt were inconsistent with a jet fuel fire, and that there was residue found that is consistent with a thermite type explosive being used. Many aspects such as these were not investigated in the official inquiry and remain unexplained. A new, impartial investigation is needed.

I am a professional musician- not an engineer or an architect. However, I have a basic knowledge of physics from excelling in AP physics in high school. The physics proves that there is no way that the fires from the collision of the airplanes into the buildings caused the WTC towers and Building 7 to collapse. All of the scientific evidence points to controlled explosions. This must be investigated, since it would have enormous consequences.

I have no formal education, but believe all the architects and engineers have valid concern.
It seems very obvious, even to those of us that are untrained in this field, that something untoward happened to that building. I have read about it and watched videos and don't believe this was caused by damage from the twin towers. Someone INDEPENDENT needs to investigate this whole thing.
