PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

If a building is falling down with nearly acceleration of free fall, the resistance of the mechanical structure had to be nearly zero. The sudden disappearance of nearly all stability in the structure of the WTC buildings can neither be explained by planes destroying some floors, nor be explained by fire damage. So the official explanation is in opposition to basic physical laws. It has to be wrong. We need a new report based on a new investigation.

I graduated with awards from the department before working for the State of California and then taking a position as job captain and then project manager at a small architecture firm. In my judgment the collapse of Building 7 was a controlled demolition. I see no other plausible explanation. I would also say that the destruction of the Twin Towers pretty obviously involved some sort of explosive devices. The forces and energies evident in the collapse videos, in my opinion, are not consistent with the impact of airplanes and resultant fuel fires alone.

I am absolutely convinced, based on the pattern of structural collapse, the positive results for nano-thermite by Dr. Neils Harrit in his oft-cited paper, and the suspicious behavior of the government during and after the official investigation, that the Twin Towers and Building 7 were brought down via controlled demolition. A separate, publicly funded investigation is necessary to catch the true culprits of this vicious crime.

I earned a bachelors degree from Florida International University in Mechanical Engineering in 1997. I have a very good understanding of machine dynamics and kinematics. I am a very successful reliability engineer because I understand the physics of how machines are supposed to work, and subsequently, why they don't work.
I was an FAA licensed airframe and powerplant mechanic before becoming a mechanical engineer, so I know that jet fuel is only kerosene. I was suspicious of the news stories that said that a jet fuel fire collapsed a modern steel frame skyscraper....as if kerosene had the heat capacity to melt steel or there were even enough calories in the fuel tank of a single airplane to melt the massive steel columns of the WTC buildings... all the way to the basement. It also bothered me that two chaotic events (separate airplanes hitting WTC 1 and WTC 2 in different locations) resulted in identical failures.

Concerning the events of 9/11, I think that the focus should be exclusively on the trust and integrity that we have in engineers and architects, which result in a very high level of public safety with regard to the structural integrity of our buildings. And, there should be a comparison of actual evidence with the official story. I knew that the official 9/11 story was a long way from the truth when I saw the original Loose Change video on 9/11. However, the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth have created even better quality arguments against the official story.

I have two undergraduate degrees: biomedical engineering, and applied mathematics. I am well versed in physics, and I almost completed my masters in Engineering Management. I work in the R&D department of an animal research equipment manufacturer. I had previously interned at the Penn State Electro-Optics Center working with Ultra-fast laser research.
Looking at the evidence objectively, I can only conclude that the plane crashes and resulting fires were not the sole cause of the collapse of the Twin Towers. The way the buildings collapsed indicated that there was some pre-meditation allowing for the near perfect collapse of the towers with no real damage to the rest of New York City. Furthermore, what most people forget, is that a third tower fell that day, WTC 7. I have yet to find a satisfactory answer as to why a few office fires and some falling debris could bring down the entire WTC 7 building in a manner identical to the other towers. The physics of it all make no sense based on the 'approved story', and I believe we deserve the truth.

The 'official story' is physically impossible. About the Pentagon it is so clear, the damage does not reflect the impact of a Boeing 757 which cannot go through 6 walls of 24in steel reinforced concrete. The engine of an airplane cannot vaporize, as the boiling point of Aluminum, titanium, and nickel is higher than the maximum theoretical temperature that combustion can yield at best condition (near stoichiometric). Similarly, the WTC towers cant fall down like they did naturally, so fast and straight, as the lower floors would inevitably slow down the fall from very basic physics (Newton's laws).

I watched events develop on 9/11. As an engineer, I know how big buildings are demolished using explosives. They collapse straight down in an orderly fashion so they do not fall over on adjacent buildings. It was very clear that in the twin towers collapse, they used exactly the same method.

I found out that the way all three buildings colapsed, symmetrically and turning everything into dust, including reinforced concrete, is inpossible due to impact load of the planes or due to fire because the building structures are symmetrical and the loads are NOT. The official version contradicts sharply with the laws of conservation of energy.

With all three World Trade Center towers falling at nearly freefall acceleration, on their footprints, being the first ones in history to fall that way due to fire, and Building 7 not even having been hit by a plane, the preponderance of evidence is that the planes and the fires did not bring the buildings down. In fact, the evidence points to a controlled demolition. We owe it to the American people to have a credible investigation into the collapse of the towers, particularly Building 7, to determine how the towers collapsed and who committed this crime.
