PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have serious doubts as to the official 9/11 story after hearing lectures and reading research conducted by David Ray Griffin regarding the contradictions between the official story and the mounting evidence and eyewitness accounts, clearly implying some level of US government involvement in allowing the tragedy to occur. After attending a presentation by Richard Gage AIA, my suspicions grew to a point of suspicion that forces within our own government may have actually orchestrated the events of this fateful day.

Arturo Moreno is an educator and designer living and working in the Kansai area of Japan. He was trained as an architect and completed his studies at the Southern California Institute of Architecture in Los Angeles. Without the aid of having done much research into the phenomena of the collapse of World Trade Centers 1 & 2, I have held a sense of surprise that the buildings essentially collapsed into their own footprints. It strikes me as unlikely that neither of the two towers would only partially collapse, partially fail or topple away rather than drop in identical fashion. During the 1993 bombing event, I was concerned for loved ones who worked in the financial district. Their workplaces were not in the towers themselves, but in the surrounding neighborhood. I was expecting the possibility of a toppling tower damaging or destroying several nearby buildings. The fact that not one, but two towers did not fall this way appears to be somewhat improbable. - - Further research has alerted me to the collapse of Building 7. How the events of the collapse of this building missed the sustained attention of 9/11 commission and the researchers from NIST seems to be without satisfactory explanation. This event alone should warrant further inquiry by all who are aware of it. - - Every day, there seems to be more evidence and revelations that do not square with the official explanation. In my mind, the official reports and studies seem inadequate at best.

I personally saw and heard in real time 2 firemen (one dirty and exhausted, seated outside on a low brick garden wall) and another just reporting for action - nice and clean. Both were looking at Building 7 in the near background (1 block?) away and to the question for the exhausted one by the fresh one regarding its status the exhausted one looked at his watch and said as clearly as I can remember, Its going down about 4:30! I didn't think too much about it at the time but now I think about it a lot whenever 911 comes up!

I well remember the day that the towers were hit. When I first saw the footage, I trusted that everything would be okay - the twin towers were poster children for redundant structural design. The collapses really surprised me, and when I saw the collapse videos, I immediately called my fellow structure nerds. The fires looked manageable, and I fully expected the combination of fire response and building suppression systems to take care of it. When they fell, I couldn't believe it. Not dramatically, but practically. I was bewildered until I saw the footage of Building 7. Once that went, then I knew something was very, very wrong.

There is simply too much physical evidence that was ignored or unexplained in the first investigations. Another investigation is warranted. In these days after 911, the public is often told that if one has nothing to hide, one should not object to the ubiquitous surveillance that is done in the name of national security. Likewise, if the government has nothing to hide, it should welcome another investigation that gets to the truth. Our elected officials need to muster the courage to insist on a new investigation in spite of the powerful resistance they most certainly will face.

Obviously the melted metal and the fact that they also pulled Building #7 , are a dead giveaway that something stinks here, but the greatest glaring falsehood to me was how a passenger airline was supposed to have crashed into the Pentagon. I've worked on components of those jet engines and when assembled they weigh 5+ tons, and they want me to believe that these large pieces of bolted together titanium would have evaporated, when I know that they might have been discolored and bent but they 1) would have been largely intact, and 2) they would have made larger marks in the building wall or ground than the fuselage . And where was all the fuel? The worst thing that one man can do to another is to lie to him and if there is no truth how can there be an American way?

I didn't see it until 3 years ago, I flat out refused to believe it so I wouldn't watch and stayed ignorant. But you can't watch the footage of Building 7 come down with any intellectual honesty and not recognize that fires can not do that to a steel framed structure and the glass blowing out at the columns is just icing on the cake as to what actually happened.

It is in my personal belief, that with the production of poppy fields in Afghanistan and the oil in Iraq, the US govt had sufficient cause to assert its presence there. My job is to set up a safe perimeter for major utility companies in high vehicular areas for major infrastructural companies and their employees (Verizon, Atlantic Electric, South Jersey Gas, Comcast etc.) on a daily basis using state of the art equipment and training. I am happily married and have one child and another on the way.
On the day of 9/11/01, and for about the first 7 years following, I was a true believer in the official lie. After seeing the film Fabled Enemies and Loose Change I started to doubt the official story and started to reexamine the evidence. From nearly the first day, I always felt something was missing in the official story given to the public about the events on 9/11/2001. Years later, when I saw the videos of the buildings fall it seemed obvious to me that they were planned demolitions, and not the result of a lone plane crash. This feeling is why I keep reading new information as it comes out about what happened. This is not the first movie I've seen regarding the questions raised about the official story, and I will no doubt keep my attention on this until a full investigation is completed.

Free fall collapse speeds and identical collapses (like that of a demolition procedure) of 3 WTC buildings of which two were hit...Impossible coincidence. Then, the fact that so many highly educated professionals of relevant fields doubting the official story. I call for a re-investigation.

By analyzing the 9/11 events (film documents) in relation to natural laws and to common sense it would be irrational to believe in the official conspiracy theory. No regular airliner is able to fly 600 mph in a height of 400 to 500 meters. Not to speak about the way the buildings collapsed: It looked like a huge controlled demolition.

The destruction of the twin towers and building 7 are the root cause for the deaths of an untold number of innocent people. These deaths were not 'accidents', these people were murdered! The deaths resulting from the ensuing wars are victims of the same crime that took place on 09/11/2001. The number of dead is well over one million and will continue to grow, in my opinion, regardless of any new government organized investigation. There most certainly is reason for concern about conflicts of interest within all of the three branches of the federal government anyway. Because there is such a great potential there were after the fact accomplices to the crimes of 09/11, a demand for citizen oversight of any selection process for new investigations. If our system of government does not have an acceptable solution, we the people must some how create and empower some new authority to see us through the great crisis now threatening this nation.

The way all 3 skyscrapers fell on 9/11/01 is not consistent with the reasoning that the NIST provided as a result of their investigation. The pancake theory does not explain why all 3 towers fell at or very close to free fall speed. Additionally, photos taken at the site show cleanly cut steel supports. It is inconclusive whether those clean cut support beams occurred before or as a result of the clean up effort.
