To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

In addition to my formal education as an electrical engineer, I worked as a carpenter for a period of time. Otherwise, I've devoted almost all of my life to the study of physics and mathematics. I served our military in the US Army Reserve, 1964-70.
I did not follow any news closely, so the government explanation of a terrorist attack seemed plausible. In 2018, by chance, I watched a YouTube video of the destruction of the towers. It became obvious that there was far more to the event than I realized. With further education, I came to believe that the NIST report and other government sponsored reports were deliberate lies against scientific honesty. To this day, most appalling to me is Paul Bremer, the CEO of a company with more than a hundred employees, located in one of the towers occupying the very floors that one of the planes hit, going on national TV a few hours later to tell the nation that terrorists were suspect. The man was as cool as could be. Not once did he mention that all the employees of his company were wiped out.

Never thought that the way that the planes hit and went through the buildings could actually happen that way (the Wiley Coyote pattern). As I get older and wiser, I've not got a lot of confidence in what is being revealed to the public as to what is actually happening today with politics, technology, and otherwise. I initially accepted the heating-theory when the WTC buildings collapsed because it sounded plausible at first glance and I didn't feel any compulsion to examine or think about it any further. However, upon seeing Loose Change, Fabled Enemies, and listening to the makers of those videos in person and listening to Richard Gage in person and referencing it to my background in structures and thermal dynamics, it became apparent to me that this was yet another fiasco/cover up ala Oklahoma City. I even manufactured my own refutations of the official version for the layman: 1. If you pour any flammable liquid on a flat surface (like a beam), what is the hottest point? Answer: it's at the tip of the flame NOT at the base so all that fuel spilling randomly around the buildings could not possibly have melted/softened so much steel mass from such an uncontrolled fire (just pour some alcohol on a cement floor, light it, then put your finger inside the flame near the floor and then at the tip of the flame and compare the temps). 2. Heat dissipates rapidly in 3-dimensions so couldn't possibly have the focused or confined temps necessary to melt steel, most of it would be carried away by air. 3. Steel itself also dissipates heat rapidly so any heating that occurred at the site of the fire would immediately spread throughout the steel frame disallowing any temperatures hot enough to melt steel anywhere other than the site of the fire if at all. 4. Note how it conventionally requires an acetylene torch using PURE oxygen at a FOCUSED point using only the TIP of the flame to melt even a SMALL area of steel - the WTC buildings had only AIR (not pure O2), had DIFFUSE heat, and over a LARGE random area - how could anyone think that was sufficient to cause failure of even one piece of steel let alone the ENTIRE steel structure ?!? 5. Jets and cars burn their fuel continuously within confined steel enclosures yet I have never heard of them melting due to this heat. 6. Even if a steel building could collapse due to heat, with a RANDOM fire heating solid structural steel RANDOMLY, I would expect a RANDOM failure leaving some columns collapsed, some columns twisted, some columns bending off to the side, and many columns still standing straight up in the air - NOT a TOTAL crumbling collapse into a nice neat footprint into the ground! Only a planned and focused demolition using explosives set at key structural locations throughout the building could cause this. The fact that you don't need any sophisticated theories or secret evidence to prove this, and the fact that you can simply use everyday logic and experiences along with mainstream media's own videos to expose the falsity of their own pet explanation for 9/11 makes this petition a slam dunk - assuming it is presented to a logical, ethical, and receptive audience (oh, oh).

In other words, there was an X marking the treasure, and the key was buried next to the chest. Do not be fooled. The evidence and heuristics upon witch your theories (soon to be accepted as fact) are based are not by accident. With the amount of intelligence in the project, the disparity (2 planes to destroy 3 buildings) is not by accident. The 3rd building was destroyed to eventually be presented as the ultimate evidence (as discovered by sensible and credible observers, i.e. engineers and architects) of a conspiracy. Just as the WTC towers were built to be destroyed (the eventual and ultimate conclusion of the civil investigation), the truth was built to be disproved. The power to destroy buildings is dwarfed by the power to destroy ideas - the pinnacle of ultimate power. As the saying goes, the end justifies the means.

After a short stint in academia, I worked for the Turkish Technical and Scientific Research Institute. I did research on explosively forming welded truncated-cone steel preforms into hemispheres. Materials subjected to very high strain rates behave similarly to highly plastic materials and can change form (deform) without developing external stress cracks. There is a photo that was taken of some 9/11-damaged steel structures where a very big cross section heavy beam has been bent into almost a 180 degree U-shape without developing any cracks on the tension side of the bend. This could not happen under the weight of the building forcing the lower sections to break up into pieces. It proves that a chemical or physical high energy source was in operation at the time the buildings were destroyed (not collapsed.) No amount of static force big enough to bend the heavy beam into a 'U' can produce this effect without creating multitudinous cracks on the tension side. This can only be done by a 'high energy rate forming' mechanism and by either a chemical or physical energy source with a large enough capacity. - - More recently, I was involved in design and production of castings and forgings in industry, and production plant management until retirement.
I am convinced beyond any shadow of doubt that:1- NORAD could not have been rendered helpless by anyone or any organization but persons in or close to the U.S. government. 2- The two towers could not have come down in near-free fall speed if explosives were not scientifically planted and distributed throughout the structures and sequentially exploded through computer control. Explosions occurred ahead of the advancing debris so that the near-free fall speed can be achieved.3- The 9/11 wars and war on terror were pre-planned and executed according to these plans. The WTC skyscrapers were obviously destroyed by a high energy producing material such as nanothermite, which was somehow placed in the buildings. There is no mechanism known to humans, other than explosives, that can destroy buildings of that size at free fall speeds while converting all the concrete and other office materials into a thick cloud of dust. It is futile to argue whether x number of columns were cut by the planes or Y amount. Even if the upper portions of both buildings were totally severed from the bottom portions and the top was allowed to fall onto the bottom, and even if all the bolts/pins holding the metal skeleton of the bottom portion together were in an un-tightened condition, the destruction of the bottom portion of the buildings by the effect of the top portion could never have been accomplished within the time necessary for a free fall. The fact that the buildings were destroyed at free fall speeds is the greatest evidence that the buildings were purposely destroyed by well placed explosives. No passenger plane hit the pentagon.

I am sixty years old with a High School education and I have no technical education or experience that would relate directly to building engineering and or architecture.
I am very concerned about how the three buildings on 9/11 fell, and the aftermath of their destruction and loss of life (both then and now). For me it does not seem possible that three building with significantly different damaged areas, could all fall straight down. In my own observations of the collapses from online video, it's clear that the lower undamaged structures were passed through as if they were not there. Where is the significant slowing of fall that common-sense says should occur from the super-strong, lower, undamaged portions of the buildings? We don't see it, and I have found no plausible explanation why. We need deeper investigation, so that such surprising rates of fall do not ever happen again.

After witnessing a number of live video clips, documentaries, and after countless hours researching the available evidence, I believe we need to have a new, independent investigation about what happened on 9/11. The way the buildings fell looks like a controlled demolition. Building 7 has not been addressed sufficiently in my opinion. I started residential construction at the age of 22 and worked in that field for more than 7 years in California with fairly high earthquake standards.
It is clearly a controlled demolition. Even a wood frame building would not suffer total collapse under the same conditions. If anything the upper damaged part would fall and the fire could be easily extinguished.

I was at home the day of 9/11 and saw it unravel in front of me, I thought then it was an inside job..........
After seeing a number of other interviews with first responders ie: firefighters/police personnel regarding their comments that they heard explosions before the buildings began to collapse. There are too many things that occurred that day which cannot be explained away, or be explained in another way!!!! A fair dose of common sense can lead anyone who's not looking for an excuse to cover this up in the right direction.

What the 9/11 Commission Report stated as the explanation of the collapses of the WTC Towers, doesn't address what appear to be key elements of the evidence. I feel that we owe it to the people who lost their lives that day to have a full, independent, open investigation that answers ALL of the questions raised by the scientific evidence. I am not an architect, or an engineer, but I'm smart enough to listen to people who are and to the scientific facts.

I'm a digital painter, a graphic designer and web designer. My husband and I work with the Feral Cat Coalition in San Diego. We've made homeless animals our cause for the last seven years. The suffering is immense and 100% the result of human irresponsibility. I was at a software conference in Boston when it happened. I came home to San Diego by hitching a hide in the back seat of a car of another attendee. Crammed between golf clubs and suitcases...it was four days of adventure. I saw the country though. What a gorgeous country we have. The skies were empty. So strange. We kept passing the same cars going west. As time passed, I saw what Bush/Cheney were doing to America. Doubt crept in. I opposed their wars, especially Iraq. I began to question. Bush refused to investigate 9/11. Then he appointed a whitewash team. Then he wouldn't testify under oath, and only with Cheney present. I read Clark's book. It really bothered me. I found the Loose Change videos. That was my turning point. I didn't believe anything the govt. said about 9/11 after that. It has become apparent to me it was their new Pearl Harbor and they murdered 3,000 plus citizens to control America. It saddens me deeply that our govt. is so corrupt and no justice has been done. Over 1,000,000 Iraqis are dead. I don't know how many Afghanis. 5,000 of our soldiers now? And endless casualties; lives destroyed and damaged forever. For what? To control the flow of oil. So that a few become mega-wealthy. This is NOT what America should be. I'm sorry. You said non-political but I can't see this event any other way. I pray that someday enough people will wake up to change this injustice. I don't care how old they are, the people behind 9/11 should be brought to justice.

After seeing a lot of footage of the twin towers and Building 7 especially, I held grave reservations that those buildings could collapse so perfectly. It seemed to defy all reason.
